@Renny Oh, my rival's not even going to be at the practice tourney. If he were he'd solo all three of us and we'd get utterly wrecked. The Phantom Rogue is meant specifically to be a mid-game/late-game rival.

Sousuke listened, but offered no response at first. Another practice battle, eh? Well he could only charge for real battles against other teams. Practice battles were just that, practice and nothing more. No payout today either, it seemed. But the mention of a practice tournament did manage to get Sousuke's attention. Now that he could charge for. But wait... which schools? Sousuke suddenly shot from his seat and took a closer look at the notebook.
"...Thought so." he said after spotting the familiar name of his previous school. Hokuten Academy, home to a rather dedicated Gunpla Battle Club called Team Chasers. It wasn't the only team Sousuke had previously been a part of, but right now it was the only one participating in the Practice Tourney. In fact there was probably a good chance they'd see his other former teams in the Under-19 itself. Sousuke was... not exactly looking forward to that, "Hokuten Academy: Team Chasers. Not a team you wanna trifle with. They favor Speed Builds, so don't bother trying to run away or keep them at a distance, it won't work." His description of the team was far too specific to be anything other than personal experience as a former member of said Team. It was one of the reasons the Crossbone Joker could be as fast as it was.

"And I feel like you should actually know who your teammates are before you make assumptions about them." Sousuke said, not angry but definitely in a quick and snappy tone. He left it at that, though, having no desire for a repeat of yesterday.

Sousuke pulled back a chair and sat in it. He didn't stop there, he leaned the chair back until it was reclined against the wall. Then he propped his feet up on a nearby table and pulled his hat down so that it partially covered his face. It almost looked like he was about to take a nap. Maybe he would have, if allowed to.

The school day was dull, as usual. Sousuke sat through almost all his classes on auto-pilot. When the day was finally over he left his last class and headed for the Club room. As he walked he rested a hand on the Gunpla case clipped to his belt. In all honesty he owed Nanashi an apology for exploding yesterday. But apologies were never something Sousuke was good at. Even that paled in comparison to his dread of what awaited after club was over. Not for any particular reason, he just didn't want to become the Club's resident sob story in need of others' pity.
"Well..." muttered Sousuke as he reached the door to the club, "...time for Day 2." and then he entered.

"Hmm..." Glaceo didn't offer much of a response to the previously dead Kiwamu's awakening. Not a verbal reaction anyway. Mentally, however, he noted to himself to remember that Satay had this kind of power, as it could prove useful in the right kind of situation later on in the future, "...Well enough. As you were." before the other officer could leave, Glaceo stopped them and gave new orders.
"Inform the bridge to belay my landing orders, but keep them on standby." the Officer nodded in compliance and finally left the observation deck to follow his orders, "Looks like we aren't landing just yet..." he added with a sidelong glance in Satay's direction. He'd naturally heard what sounded like an objection from her a moment ago, but decided not to address it until now. He pressed some controls on his scouter and then just listened.
"Arkos," Glaceo said, "don't say anything back. I'm keeping the communications between our Scouters open for the time being. I want to hear your negotiations in real time." that was all the confirmation Arkos would need to go ahead with his plan to try and negotiate. He listened to Arkos speak to what sounded like two different inhabitants. Then, he heard their response:
“Useful to what end?”
"Tell them that we're looking to establish a business relationship with their planet. Access to some of their resources in exchange for allowing us to act as their liaison with the Planet Trade Organization."

@Crimson Lion We aren't exactly doing anything else, so I don't see why not.
@Crimson Lion Try had a literal Sentai Megazord Gunpla. It also had a big ass Dragon-shaped Mobile Armor. Yeah, Sekai's power ups were generic "super saiyan" modes, but that's only because he was emulating Domon Kasshu who had very similar upgrades in G Gundam. But the supporting cast usually had way more interesting Gunpla concepts. Minato even had a Gunpla that was literally Fumina in a maid dress. Plus Celestial Sphere and their Gundam 00 based Gunpla.
@Crimson Lion If by "unique" you mean, skew it toward UC and Seed and leave other series in the background or gloss over them. Apart from Felini using a Wing Gundam build, everyone had such an obnoxious hard on for Universal Century and Seed in terms of Gunpla design. At least Try attempted to balance it out more.
@Renny Funny, I'm the exact opposite. Then again, G Gundam is my favorite series so maybe that explains why I favor Try more?
@Renny It's someone from Try, but NOT any of the main trio. So no, it's not Sekai if that's who you were thinking.
