I mean...

Does that mean you're in or out? XD
@redbaron1234
My character hasn't talked to Eli yet but I wasn't trying to ignore you on purpose. You could have him be the one who holds Tori's arm up while Malena was bussy with the bandages.

As for what we should do with the roleplay, I don't know really. The absence of our GM really sucks. One problem there would be in taking over this roleplay is that none of us know what Grim had planned. So we would have to come up with a new storyline too.

Let's just do a headcount first, to see who's here and who isn't. Because people could have posted after my post and that hasn't happened.
@Vec You were starting on a post a while ago?
I know nothing about RWBY, but it sounds awesome.
I am interested, but I'll need to do some reading before I fully commit to joining ^.^
I don't know what's going on in Grim's life, it could be serious, he could be bussy.
It's easy to let us know what's up, even if you don't have wifi or something, you could go somewhere else and drop off a message real quick.
Malena

The medical kit acted like a red flag just as she had expected, people came flocking to her with their injuries, moving from the food guy towards her. Speaking of, he was walking towards her too. The prospect of treating so many people at the same time intimidated her and she started to doubt herself. What if she didn't know what to do? Sure she could put on bandages, make a sling, that kind of stuff. But many of the survivors looked way worse than that, in any case way beyond what her medical kit could fix. She pushed away her self doubt, focusing on what was important. The food guy asked her for some painkillers and she bit her lip, regretting the fact she didn't have any left. Cole had taken them. Before she could say anything the guy hauled over in pain, clutching his chest, coughing terribly. He coughed up some blood and she could tell that startled him, it scared her too because that was rarely a good sign. Malena hid her own worries and fear behind a calm facade, keeping a unreadable expression on her face. He needed some kind of pillow to hold against his chest, to soften the coughs, which were definitely going to follow after that first one.

While she tried to figure out what to use to help him, the girl she'd been worrying about approached her. She was limping badly and looked deathly pale, she must have lost a lot of blood already. That definitely took priority, and the girl agreed. Malena hid her own worry and concern behind a well practiced facade, keeping an unreadable expression on her face, trying to stay calm. She wasted no time and took of her denim jacket, folding it into a bundle. She walked over to him until she they were standing face to face, or well not exactly that. He was a lot taller and she noticed he had ripped off the bottom half of his shirt. Trying not to stare at the sixpack that would most probably be there she handed him her bundled up jacket.

"Hold this against your chest when you feel like you need to cough again, it will hurt less." She explained, handing him her bundled up jacket. Malena tried not to stare at his stomach which was exposed, he had ripped of the bottom half of his shirt. She could practically count his abs.

"I'm sorry but I'm out of painkillers..." She said with an apologetic smile.

That was really all she could do for him right now. Malena turned her attention to the girl and her stomach turned with nerves. She took a deep breath and walked over to her.
"I think it's best if you sit down for a second" Malena said, offering to help the girl to the ground carefully.

Once she was sitting down Malena got what she needed from the medical kit. She sucked in her breath when she saw how deep the cut was. Malena got to work quickly and flushed away the blood with water from a plastic bottle in her purse.
"Can someone hold her arm up please?" Malena called out to the people around them. It was important to stop the blood flowing down, the girl definitely shouldn't lose any more blood than she already had.

After someone stepped in to help Malena got out the bandages. She wrapped them around tight but gently. With the bandages wrapped she checked on the girl, judging from her facial expression she wasn't doing so well. Malena put her hand on her forehead, even through her glove she could feel the girl was cold. She brushed some hair away from the girls face.

"You're doing good..."

Malena was worried. If there were people coming after them, like that girl who dropped of the medical bag warned them about, this girl definitely wasn't in the condition to run.

What if she......tried to use her power?

She'd never used it on a wound this bad, and what if it would do more harm than good? Malena knew she didn't have enough energy left to share with her, without it being harmful to herself. If she was going to use her power she needed to get life energy from someone else, but they were all pretty banged up.
Sorry about the delay.
I will have my post up tonight!
Opted for a solo post so things will move along a little faster.
And let's hunt down our GM!
Hopefully Grim Fandango hasn't fallen off the face of the earth.

I hope so too 0.0
Starting on a post ^.^

@6slyboy6
Would you like to collab on my post?
I probably won't have time to write until the weekend, just to let you guys know.
By the by where is our GM? XD @Grim Fandango
@6slyboy6
Cole took all the painkillers XD
She´s just a freshman nursing student, I don´t think she´ll be any good with broken ribs. You need rest when you break your ribs, which is kind of impossible right now because we´re on the run.

I could have her use her power to patch up Tobias but it might not work. She´s only ever used it for superficial wounds, like cuts, scrapes, minor burns that kind of stuff. Broken bones may be out of her league. She would have to absorb life force from someone/thing first too, because her reserves are empty.
Malena

Malena watched Cole and Taylor leave together.
"Be safe...." She mumbled quietly.
Looking out at the stream with a solemn expression, she sighed deeply. What was going to happen to her now? To everyone. It was time to be alone with her thoughts for a while, sort things out. On her way back to the bank she picked up the medical kit one of the survivors dropped off. That would be useful later, she just needed to gather her wits, regain her composure, before helping anyone else.

When she reached the water she wasn't really sure what to do, so she settled for washing out the glove she used to treat Cole's cut. It proved to be exactly the mind numbing task she was looking for, it gave her hands something to do and her traumatized mind something to focus on. The blood was tough to rinse out, it didn't come out completely. She felt dirty too, not having had a change of clothes or a proper shower in two days. Her eyes turned towards the stream, trying to judge the depth. The water was clear but probably also pretty cold. She weighed her options. She didn't know where she was or where she was going to go. This stream could be the last water source she would see in a while.

Malena considered it again, trying to put aside her modesty and convince herself. Really she shouldn't make such a big deal out of this. She had just survived a horrible crash, nearly dying because of it. The water would do her good, even if it was cold. She bit her lip, still reluctant but started to take off her jacket regardless. She slipped out of her maxi dress with ease, leaving just her underwear. Putting one foot into the stream, she immediately regretted her decision. It was freezing cold. She walked a little further, arms wrapped around herself, shivering like crazy, teeth clattering. The water came up a little above her knees, the stream was pretty shallow. The best way would be to just sink in completely but that would be way too cold, she just wanted to get in and out quickly. She pulled up her hair into a bun and started to cup some of the water, washing herself, trying to ignore her thoughts of being watched.

After a couple of minutes she got out, cheeks flushed but feeling surprisingly good. She used the skirt of her dress to dry herself off and put her clothes back on. Still shivering lightly she let down her hair, kneeling beside her bag, the medical kit sitting right next to it. Alright so let's see what we got here. She passed the items through her hands, thinking back on her lessons. At college they had covered the basic med kit and how to use many of the standard items that came with it. A couple of things were missing and she remembered Cole rummaging through it before he and Taylor went into the woods. Painkillers, a couple of gauze dressings and a roll of bandages. She was relieved to know Cole had taken stuff he could use. There was enough left to make it useful.

Her thoughts went back to those guys. Taylor had this androgynous look about him, which made her wonder, doubt a little bit. He wasn't very masculine but he definitely gave her a male vibe, for the lack of a better word. Cole on the other hand had the bad guy routine down to a T.

She packed up the medical kit, focusing on the present. Malena wanted to be useful, if she stayed alone with her thoughts she would eventually drive herself crazy. Up ahead a group was forming around the guy who salvaged some food from the trainwreck.If anyone needed medical attention she would find them there. She slung her purse over her shoulder and held the medical kit in her arms, the bright red would let the other survivors know she could help them get patched up.

Malena walked over to the group, but stayed at the edge, feeling a little apprehensive, sizing up everyone in view. Most of them seemed to be around her age, maybe a year or two younger, it was hard to say. One of the guys was handing out MRE packs, he had this upbeat attitude which considering their circumstances was pretty amazing. Gathered around him were a couple more people. A blonde guy wearing glasses, a tall guy with dark slightly messy hair and some scruff on his face. Next to him was a girl with unevenly chopped blonde hair. She was holding her arm and looked like she could pass out any minute, her face contorted in a painful expression, she tried really hard to hide. Malena could see the blood seeping through her clothes, dripping onto the ground. It tied her stomach into worried knots.

I'll just go over and ask if she wants my help. Malena thought, adjusting her grip on the medical kit.

"Everyone okay over here?"
