Bio

I'm EchoicChamber, though I mostly go by Echo.
I'm in my twenties, and returned here on a whim.
I have no idea what's happening at any given moment.

@ScoundrelQueen Approved!

@Arya10108909 Yep, there's a training program. c: Acolytes are acolytes of the kingdom, pretty much, and both them and Knights can essentially be trained with the skills to pursue different sectors if they didn't want to go into strictly military fighting. Some might pursue research, for instance.
@Mistory Midas looks like a really interesting character concept! Before I approve him, though, would you mind telling me his history via PM so I can approve it? I don't mind having a vague history on the sheet, but I would like to check over it just so I can see what you've got planned and the like. c:

@Ghost Queen Both, I'd say. The armor is made out of strong, durable material, and likely considerably advanced compared to what we have in the modern era (although it doesn't have any AI coded in the suit or anything). It also happens to be really cool looking, and somewhat impractical when it comes to camouflage and whatnot.
@Ghost Queen Sounds good!
@Ghost Queen Military-grade body armor (in the latest fashion, of course!), a rifle/guns, an earpiece to communicate with HQ, etc.- pretty much standard military equipment, honestly. How much weaponry a soldier packs also depends largely on their Gift. If they have a particularly strong power, they would probably be less decked out than someone who can only freeze water lay or something similar. Some soldiers also like using swords and whatnot, although that's largely for aesthetic more than anything. Erubesco adores its theatrics.

EDIT: When not on solo missions, Erubesco military forces also have armored vehicles for use in transporting goods and doing general surveys of the land, among other things. They also have teleporting Gifted among their members, who serve as a mode of transportation when a vehicle isn't necessary.
@Ghost Queen No lasers, robo armor, or teleporters, I'd say. Due to the presence of Gifts, there's been less focus on weaponry as a whole- with it being more in line with what we have today than anything incredibly futuristic, if not slightly more advanced. There's been a lot of progression in genetic modification, however, along with food production, agriculture, general body modification (especially in Erubesco), some transportation, and so on and so forth. Does that make any sense, or would you like me to go into more specifics?
@Ghost Queen That's perfectly fine with me! Are you thinking about having that sort of character working under Erubesco to fit the chivalry theme, or are you planning on having them located somewhere else?
@Mistory Sorry for the confusion! What I mean by "humans being wiped out" is that regular, nonpowered humans have been pretty much eliminated in a full-scale genocide performed by the Gifted during the war. Most everyone in the era that the RP takes place in has a superpower of some sort, and the general consensus when it comes to nonpowered humans is that they were barbaric, cruel, somewhat dumb creatures. I just phrased it that way so that nobody tries to make their character a human in a faction or anything.
