With the use of a bit of makeup, it becomes very difficult to determine that he is a man without being told.

While working, Madison tends to dress very professionally- donning his labcoat over a simple pencil skirt and blouse- but when out and about, he tends to be much more expressive and colorful in his outfits.

This ability is restricted in that he cannot heal what the body would be unable to heal naturally- while he could patch up a cut on one’s leg and prevent bleeding out, he cannot regrow an arm or repair a spine after a sword has been run through it.

Biography/History:
While the WDL has taken in many orphans throughout the years, Madison is a somewhat interesting case among them. Born the second child to the Lovettes, the boy’s early years were quite ordinary on the surface. The family wasn’t rich, but it wasn’t poor, either. They lived in the suburbs, and sometimes went out to the park when both parents had the time. The most notable thing about them was that their eldest daughter had died from a young age due to heart complications, and even that, while tragic, was not enough to set them apart.
What was, however, was the fact that the fact that the Lovettes denied any and all claims of them having a son.
They had daughters.

For whatever reason- grief, instability, or any combination of the sort- Madison had been raised as a girl by his parents. He played with dolls, grew his hair long, and wore dresses. Any and all paperwork officially listed him as “female”, and, given the fact that his was a home birth, and the Lovettes were a couple of fair reputation within their community, there was no need to question it initially. It was only after a young Madison had spilt on his dress and was sent to the nurse’s office for a change of clothing that his gender was discovered. Social Services were quickly called, and Madison was taken from his home. Due to a lack of foster homes at the time, he was placed in an orphanage, where he was placed into therapy to try and provide him with a normal life. Having grown up as a girl, Madison resisted the change, and would often steal the toys and belongings of the girls living at the orphanage for himself.
Some ways into his stay there, certain higher-ups of the WDL had happened to stop by the children’s home. For whatever reason, they did not leave alone- Madison came with them, adopted and brought along to the base. Without the treatment given to him at the orphanage, Madison quickly rebounded into old habits, hiding the clothing of female WDL members and dressing himself in them when he believed no one to be watching. One of these members happened to be Illusion, Madison’s self-proclaimed guardian, who simply bought him the clothes he desired and let him indulge in his fascination.

Madison himself remembers little from his early life, however- of if he does, he doesn’t mention it. He was raised primarily within the WDL’s walls, and, while his guardians were not cut from the most normal cloth, he had a fairly happy childhood. As he has grown, however, Madison has become increasingly aware of the darker side of the organization, and has become quite uneasy about it. Nevertheless, he has remained loyal, climbing to his current position within the organization- although he is still firmly against certain practices of the WDL, and even outright refuses to participate in a few.
This has not escaped the attention of certain people.

For a world where demons and werewolves walk the same streets as humanity, and buffalomen lurk in the heart of national forests, Dawn’s life has been surprisingly pleasant. The child of an Italian physician and an American lawyer, she was born and raised near the edges of Ohio, where mutual family friends lived. Due to the combined incomes of her parents, the family didn’t face many struggles financially, although there was a strong pressure put upon Dawn to excel- especially in the face of her brother, who had stolen money from the family and booked it to Las Vegas once he was old enough to do so.

By the time they had graduated, she had begun to regard the other as a close friend, and left for university with the promise to keep in touch if possible.

While Dawn had initially intended to become a lawyer like her mother, she eventually decided to shoot for a job in law enforcement, having admired police and detectives throughout most of her life. With her grades, she was able to snag a slot in a criminal justice university over in New York, and promptly moved there, eager to start pursuing her future. Her grades stayed high, and as a reward, Dawn was sent to a trip to London by her parents. While touring there, she found herself running into her old classmate, Jojo. The man was in a tight spot, and, concerned for her old friend, she invited him to live with her so he could get back on his feet.

The two now stay together in a two bedroom apartment, both working in pursuit of their education. While having a roommate took a bit to get used to in the beginning, Dawn is content, comfortable with the route that her life has taken. (Jojo being able to cook hasn’t hurt, either.)

Physical Age: 10 or so, perhaps younger.
True Age: Was alive when Byzantine was thriving.
Gender: Male
Race: Demon Lord
Description: Gael takes the appearance of a rather beautiful young boy, with large chocolate-brown eyes and soft blond curls that reach his chin. His build is slight and waifish, often swallowed up by pastel-colored coats several sizes too big for him. The demon also displays a remarkable fondness of bows- bows on his coat, bows on his boots, and a large bow tied neatly around his throat. His pockets are often swollen to the brim with candies and sweets, and it is a very rare occasion for the boy to be found without the stem of a lollipop poking from the corner of his mouth.
There are a few...unsettling aspects to him, however. Like the sharpness of his teeth. Or the claws that can protrude from his fingers at his whim, parting the flesh in their escape.

Personality:
On the surface, Gael appears to be a polite, if not a bit overly formal and stiff, young boy. He expresses a genuine enthusiasm in his “work”, frequently giving away his creations, and enjoying others playing games with him. However, given what he really is, Gael’s nature is a bit more malevolent. He experiences little to no emotions, and, while he possesses an understanding of it, his own grasp of morality is shaky at best. This leads him to be incredibly manipulative and cruel at times, especially when striving towards his ambitions. The almost childlike curiosity and fascination he regards the world with only worsens this.

~ Combat Profile ~

Major Abilities:
+ Lordship’s Duel: Much like the famous song “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”, Gael can invite a target to a game of their choosing, regardless of age, gender, or species. If the target accepts, then the mark of the golden apple is stained into their skin, marking them as a player of his duel, and allowing Gael to trace the person’s location. In the event that the target were to win, they would be granted one favor from Gael himself- the only restrictions being that they cannot result in his own destruction, or place him into a situation that would make him at great risk of destruction. The mark would linger on their flesh until their wish was granted, upon which it would vanish completely. In the event that Gael wins, however, the target will become indebted to him in turn.
+ Luck of the Draw: By rolling a magical die, Gael is able to use one of six different powers, depending on which side the die happens to land on. Each is associated with a different element, and have their own unique effects when activated- although the timespan that he can use them in is quite brief.
- Ignis, the First: Balls of fire form and launch themselves at opponents, bursting on impact.
- Inrigo, the Second: Gael fires a blast of high pressured water, capable of slicing through metal and other materials.
- Terra, the Third: Giant rocks jut sharply from the ground, serving as protective walls or weapons, depending on its use.
- Aether, the Fourth: Gael becomes incredibly light, floating about freely and becoming much faster than usual.
- Lumen, the Fifth: Thin tendrils of light wrap about Gael’s body, knitting together wounds and healing bone.
- Caligo, the Sixth: A dark fog spills from Gael’s lips. When inhaled, it prompts feelings of strong euphoria and pleasure.
+ Marionette: Long strips of fabric manifest themselves from Gael’s body, which he can control and manipulate with the same ease as if they were his limbs. These appendages, despite appearing to be made of some sort of cloth or similar material, are quite durable, withstanding attacks that would easily tear apart regular ribbons, and even exhibiting a resistance against heat and flame. As a result, he is able to use them for many purposes- suspending himself and crawling on ceilings and walls, walking on them, using them as hands when his own are occupied or for extended reach, as claws, and so on.

Minor Abilities:
- Pied Piper: Gael is able to imbue his influence into a wide variety of playthings and knicknacks. By doing this, he is able to animate them at will, moving them or even bestowing a small degree of sentience for a time. He is also able to spy through these toys, seeing and hearing what they do, and can track down their location if he so desired. The objects affected by his magic bear the mark of a brilliant gold apple somewhere upon them.
- Hide and Seek: This ability allows Gael to become completely invisible, shrouding his presence and allowing him to move around unnoticed.
- Dolly: Disturbingly, Gael does not exhibit the traits of a “normal” living being. He does not bleed when cut- a black, tarry substance flows through his veins, which congeals rapidly when exposed to open air-, parts separate from his body do not rot, and are even able to move even when detached. As a result, it is possible for him to literally drag himself back together, stitching bits and pieces back onto his body.

Special Ability: Puppetmaster: Being a demon of games, Gael is able to draw the soul of a victim from their body, transferring it into a toy of his choosing. The soul will remain intact, preserved within its “host”, while the body becomes little more than an empty husk- another plaything. He is able to manipulate and control the leftover shell, or even instill a sort of mindless drive into it. While under his influence, the body will not bleed, and can easily be repaired if the damage is not major. Gael is also able to return the soul to its rightful place if he desired, although if the body is too damaged, then they will die straight away.
While the toy that the soul is stored in is remarkably difficult to destroy, in the case that it is, the soul disappears- the left over body simply becoming a regular corpse.

Description: Clocking in at roughly 4 foot 9 inches in boots, and without much muscle mass to speak of, Dawn isn’t exactly the most imposing figure around. Her face is soft and open, with pale skin and grey eyes ringed with shadow. Her hair is black and thick, and Dawn has grown it to her hips- although, as a result, she has developed a habit of styling it in a side plait to keep it out of the way most of the time.
Dawn usually tries to “dress to impress”, donning skirts, tights, cardigans and flats to work and throughout everyday life. Winter sees her swapping to a modest sweater and slacks, and warm seasons have her lose the cardigan entirely. In more casual settings, she’ll don a simple pair of jeans and a shirt, but there’s one constant throughout many of her wardrobe changes- a hat. Regardless of setting, she’ll often be found wearing a hat of some kind, although her apparent favorite is a black sunhat.

Personality: By nature, Dawn is a gentle soul, soft spoken and polite towards strangers and friends alike. She tends to be quite protective and maternal towards friends of hers, and makes an effort to grant a level of respect to most. However, while friendly and slower to anger than some, she is not necessarily a yes-woman- oftentimes, when made annoyed by someone or a situation, her irritation will manifest itself as a dry sort of humor and a somewhat snarky commentary. This humor tends to be present regardless, however. When genuinely angered, Dawn grows calm to the point of frigidity, becoming vengeful and keeping her grudges close at hand.

Biography/History:
For a world where demons and werewolves walk the same streets as humanity, and buffalomen lurk in the heart of national forests, Dawn’s life has been surprisingly pleasant. The child of an Italian physician and an American lawyer, she was born and raised near the edges of Ohio, where mutual family friends lived. Due to the combined incomes of her parents, the family didn’t face many struggles financially, although there was a strong pressure put upon Dawn to excel- especially in the face of her brother, who had stolen money from the family and booked it to Las Vegas once he was old enough to do so.

Both elementary and middle school passed without much event, aside from a batch of noteworthy grades, but sometime in high school Dawn came into the acquaintance of a boy named Jojo. While she had little friends at the time due to her focus on schoolwork, their shared interest in reading led to her hanging around him more often than not. By the time they had graduated, she had begun to regard the other as a close friend, and left for university with the promise to keep in touch if possible.

While Dawn had initially intended to become a lawyer like her mother, she eventually decided to shoot for a job in law enforcement, having admired police and detectives throughout most of her life. With her grades, she was able to snag a slot in a criminal justice university over in New York, and promptly moved there, eager to start pursuing her future. Her grades stayed high, and as a reward, Dawn was sent to a trip to London by her parents. While touring there, she found herself running into her old classmate, Jojo. The man was in a tight spot, and, concerned for her old friend, she invited him to live with her so he could get back on his feet.

The two now stay together in a two bedroom apartment, both working in pursuit of their education. While having a roommate took a bit to get used to in the beginning, Dawn is content, comfortable with the route that her life has taken. (Jojo being able to cook hasn’t hurt, either.)

@Dark Light Co-GM here! I'll try my best to explain stuff to the best of my ability, and Kuro can chime in if I missed any important bits. c:

1. The RP will mainly be following the WDL during the beginning of the roleplay, and gradually branch out to more and more groups as the story progresses. That doesn't bar people from making other characters, though, or those who might be considered antagonists.

2. Not necessarily, nope. I'm writing a Demon Lord, for instance, and it's possible to create a nonhuman character- although if you're hoping to make a nonhuman working within the WDL, keep in mind that the WDL is heavily anti-nonhuman. Illusion, Kuro's character, and the Seven are exceptions, but any other nonhumans would have to hide their true identities if they were working within the WDL.

3. What do you mean by "demonology", if you don't mind my asking?

4. Characters can die, although a character death will only be performed with player permission, or if the player is absent and unresponsive for an extended period of time. It should be noted that if a character does put themselves into a high-risk situation, however, that there will be consequences- although it should also be noted that death in T7C doesn't work as it might in other canons. I'll leave that to Kuro to explain, however. c:
