Actually, how's Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's American accent?

I'm not completely sold, but he's in the right ballpark.
Hailee.

Casting an older, grizzled, bearded Cap is going to take me some time to think. Particularly since all I've been watching lately are comedies and Power Rangers, so there aren't a ton of candidates at the front of my mind...
Oh, we're bringing back Cast an RPG, too? What's next: Random Chat Logs? Create-A-Post?

I want it to be known, that while I became the fucking poster child for that trope, I never actually came up with the idea. With Nygma and Q, two other RPers made them into cops and barely posted. I just took their ideas and fucking ran with them.

You know, I won't pretend to have invented the trope, but the earliest instance I can recall is me playing Detective John Grayson as a lead-in to a Robin run that never happened. Which was a big influence on my decision to take Selina that way when UDC rebooted.

UDC 2.0 Grayson was probably my favorite character I've ever played. That or All-Star Marvel 1.0 Spidey. It's a pretty close toss-up between the two. Or a character named Seymour from an RP that none of y'all were involved in, but.....you guys don't need to know about him.

And as much as I loved giving people shit for turning every other character into a GCPD detective, it did provide some really great material when done well.

But you know what killed UDC 2.0? And World of Heroes? And All-Star Marvel? And every other game on the Hype? People not posting. So while we're all patting ourselves on the back for games we played a decade ago, let's not ignore that we've got a killer game going right now.

Bruh, after how I finished my last post? You know I'm already writing the next one. That's right: it might only take me TWELVE days to post again this time...

You say that in jest, but as I remember it, Eddie's Ultimate Selina did end up fucking Byrd's Nygma.

Traitors. The both of 'em.

It's true. One of my characters has canonically fucked one of Byrd's. Which means it's basically like me and Byrd have canonically fucked.
I will say, @Master Bruce, that while I have fond memories of Selina Kyle, undercover cop, I do feel the whole "make Batman's side characters into cops" trope has played itself out, and I only wish I could've thought to make her a crime boss' daughter as you have. Now there's a Catwoman run I could've sunk my teeth into...
I really like Eddie's Green Arrow.

Yeah, I miss that little bastard. Perhaps someday the opportunity to write him will come again. I had a killer Mister Negative arc planned for the last RPG we all tried to start together, but I didn't hang with it.
I will say that I wish we knew how to capture the feel of World of Heroes or All-Star Marvel. For whatever their faults, they were games with honest-to-God history behind them. Like... I still kinda 'ship Bart Allen and Supergirl thanks to those games. And because they were so far along, they could have those legacy characters.

Starting a game now, it's like you either start Year One (sorry, legacies), go off of current comics continuity (which many of us don't really like atm), or pick an arbitrary cutoff point/play fast and loose with continuity (which works but is obviously messy as hell).

I mean, obviously this game will run that long and we'll eventually reach that long, nbd, but I do wish I could skip ahead. (Because I love me some Superboy.)
I enjoyed World of Heroes when we had a stacked Teen Titans roster. Superboy, Robin, Ravager, Zachary Zatara, Kid Flash, and Supergirl all PCed at the same time. Otherwise, I don't really remember it. I had way more fun in the Ultimate and One Universe RPGs.
