@Akayaofthemoon I asked earlier, but I didn't tag anyone, so I'll ask again here- can I trade Vert's dual tonfa gem weapon for dual kama?

Is your character homeworld, human, or rebel gem? If its Rebel, could always be an experiment with Marry. I'm sure some would be fairly explosive. Especially if shes figuring out this human thing called 'gunpowder'.

Sage raised an eyebrow as the Professor (or, at least, someone who looked a lot like her) emerged from another room, carrying what looked like a box of Pokedexes. He motioned to Reynardine, shuffling over to Professor Grevillia, nudging his way in between the two girls who were already there and earning an exasperated look from his partner. He inclined his head in some form of apology to either side, to each of the girls he'd muscled past, before turning to the Professor.

"Hey. Sorry for butting in, but I'd like to get my own Pokedex, as well. Sorry for getting here a little late- I don't really have an excuse for that, but whatever, I guess..."

Without waiting for an answer (or a Pokedex), he turned to the other girls he'd butted out of the way. One of them some seemingly-Halloween-worshiping chick with a Drifloon, the other a much more normal-looking blonde girl with a Riolu. Wearing a bandana. Which was kind of adorable. He raised a hand to them.

"Uhh... hi. Sorry for quite literally butting in. You both just getting started, too?"

Name: Vert
Gem: Verdelite
Appearance: Short at 5' tall. Has very pale green skin, long, shaggy, green-and-yellow-green streaked hair, and very dark, deep green eyes. Wears a dark green cloak with what looks like yellow-green lightning bolts along the bottom edge. Wears a black tunic and leggings under the cloak.
Gem Placement: Underside of left wrist
Gem Item: Dual kamas
Powers:

• Electrical Sense- Vert can sense electrical impulses, such as the current through an electrical wire, or even the electricity of living things, though the latter is much harder to detect, and can get drowned out by stronger impulses.
• Electric Slide- Vert can transform her body into a living electrical surge, greatly increasing her speed and offensive abilities. Incredibly powerful, but also more than a little unstable.
• Bolt-ergeist- Vert can use her Electric Slide to leap into any electrical machinery and control it from the inside. Difficult to use without destroying whatever she leaps into, but well worth it when she can get a handle on her abilities.
• Joy Buzzer- Vert can discharge electricity into whatever- or whomever- she's touching. Can be used to damage an enemy, charge electrical equipment (or destroy it utterly), and whatever else one can do with lightning from one's hands.

Backstory: An experimental Gem, designed to overcome the usual weakness of Verdelite Gems, namely their low intelligence. While most of her kind were treated little better than guided missiles or attack dogs, Vert was designed to be more subtle, able to infiltrate, use complex tactics, and think strategically. The good news is that they succeeded. The bad news is that they succeeded.

For one reason or another, Vert turned on the Kindergarten workers who facilitated her creation, destroying much of the facility and even shattering several workers. Distraught, she went into a catatonic state, where she remained until she was found by the Gems of the Rebellion. Armed with her wits, her powers, and her hatred toward Homeworld and all it stood for, Vert joined the Rebels' cause, eager to repay whatever cruelties had been inflicted on her.
Other: Vert has a tendency to float a few inches off the ground most of the time, even if she's not in her Electric Slide form. She's not capable of full-blown flight unless in her electricity form, though.

Could I tweak Verdelite so that she's a Rebel Gem in this story? Or would it be easier to just make a "Newborn," like before?
