I keep being told that Avatar the Last Airbender is good but I'm starting to think I was lied to.

I think it was great but I also think it gets progressively better so it might have to be an investment of time. Or maybe I feel that way because I invested the time and I feel obligated to like it.

But then I also like Avatar: The Legend of Korra too and that's received mixed reception so I don't know what to think anymore.

It's difficult for me to recall the last cartoon/animation that I've watched. I don't know if Arcane counts but that was amazing. So was Invincible on Amazon. I still try to keep up with RWBY although I don't remember much from the last season. Rick & Morty is always great but I've only ever seen single episodes isolated from the rest of the season. I've never sat down and watched it from start to finish so a lot of what's going on in the subplot is sometimes lost on me.

Oh and I'm not sure if this will count either but Space Jam: A New Legacy is a thing that decided it wanted to exist. I kind of made myself watch it recently. Having spent my Sunday mornings with my grandma watching Looney Tunes reruns (or her crush Walker, Texas Ranger stop a plane with a tractor beam) and having loved the original Space Jam, I might have been a little dissappointed.

Besides the above, I haven't consumed a whole lot of animation recently that wasn't strictly anime. I might catch snippets of things like The Simpsons or Family Guy accidentally but only because someone else is watching them.

@Nallore I'm enjoying the Legend of Vox Machina myself, but that might just be me and the novelty of seeing their D&D campaign come to life in an official animation. It's far from being the best show but I cannot deny the joy of watching pieces of their stream in a different medium or the the inside jokes peppered here and there. The animation work itself is fine. The story seems rushed or cut in a way that seems too fast, but I know that's a result of contraints given a limited run time and the insane amount of content they've had to cut down to fit into a few episodes. The voice acting is naturally amazing lol.

@Dark Cloud Castlevania was really good! Especially that first season. And second and fourth. Third not so much.

Will be getting to work on my CS later today after I'm off, but wanted to know if there is a preferred spread for the races or if we can get a list of whats been applied for? I wasn't yet sure what I wanted to play as and I thought about flexing over to a race that might need another body.

She gets most of her looks from her mother's side, including her green hair and taller than usual stature. She caught up to her father years ago who stands at an even six feet. When in the field for study, she'll often be in sleeveless denim coveralls over a plain shirt, a straw hat and cognac leather boots. More often than not, when challenged, she'll be out of the gym and will have to battle in work clothes. When in the gym, she's more fashion forward. Dark leather pants tucked into black boots, a loose fitted shirt with a wide neck and thick brown trench coat lined in white soft fur. Personality. Lucella is competitive and headstrong, much more so than her predecessor. She thrives in battle, almost more than she does her study of botany, and the lack of balance can sometimes get her in trouble. She's still learning to tow the line even after having achieved as much as she has. Unlike her father, her focus during the gym challenge is less nurturing and more... punishing. She's much more fierce on the field than him and it shows in her attitude. She believes that if your head isn't in the right place, she'll find out when she beats the weakness out of you. There is no thriving in a harsh world without striving to be the best version of yourself. Plants and Pokémon do it all time and only the best have any hope of making it past her and reaching the top. She also believes this weakness can lead to mistreatment of Pokémon. If you want to be the best, you treat your team as you would yourself. Despite a more heated nature, some guidance from Thomas has ensured that Lucella held on to some virtues of compassion and respect. She can be harsh but she ensures those she's tough on understand why and can learn from their mistakes to be better. And, anyone who makes it past her garners her admiration and she will often make herself available for those seeking further advice. Off the field and away from anything half deemed competitive, Lucella is light and approachable. However, when on the job, she's the same heated and serious self as when she's mid-battle. Today. Lucella is currently the Turffield major league gym leader, a position once held by her father, Thomas. Like her father, she's taken to a life surrounded by the flora of the world and constantly strives to protect the relationship between it and Pokémon. To this end, she will sometimes travel with Thomas when time allows, furthering her studies on botany in some far off remote location and bringing samples back to their family lab. When she's not traveling, she's finishing her education and spending ample time training with her team. She currently works at the Tyrell Lab located outside Turffield. The structure houses flora from many regions of the planet and also doubles as a secondary gym. Of her team, Lucella is particularly fond of Thomas's former Flapple, who has since evolved into an Appletun.
