Unpopular* Opinion: Spec Ops The Line's overall message is not as profound and enlightening(I've heard people tell me with all honesty that the game changed their view of the world) as people say it is and I'd bet it's been done already and much better by some of the very same games it is criticizing.
*I'm actually not quite sure if this opinion is as unpopular as I think it is, but the overwhelming majority of those I've talked to sing praises of it from the summit of Mount Olympus.
I mean, Call of Duty Black Ops had the same twist but Spec Ops: The Line is just doing what Apocalypse Now and Heart of Darkness did but because it's in a video game it's dumbed down in the simplest terms because critical thinking what is that concept
