Depending on who you ask it's probably somewhere along the lines of "Never up until I need them then they're acceptable."
Stealing food in order to survive is something I can understand and even empathize with. Going for fresh kicks and sick plasma in the middle of a disaster zone is not a necessity and even if the items in question are insured it's not something that is essential and you're being a dick. But also don't kill them.
