» Dana's biggest skill, apart from the accent which has the benefit of making people swoon, is her salesmanship. Given her background - which was decidedly NOT in wrestling - she has mastered the art of the 'upsell' which is both a boon and a bane. While she is good at talking, she doesn't always seem to understand that the world of managing a wrestler is different from selling insurance or products to gullible people, which often leads to lofty promises to continue the hype.

While the jury is still out on whether or not it's a skill, Dana's willingness to learn from her partner - that is the one she manages - can make her seem somewhat naive; rather ironic for one who made a living prior to this from preying on naive sorts. Dana is a mind willing to learn even as she's standing dead center and selling a product that just so happens to be a person rather than a thing.

Dana is somewhat well traveled, having lived in Ireland and England before the States which allows her to work a crowd. Who doesn't love a mention of local sports team? What about local monument? Selling is all about getting the person to buy anything that leaves the mouth; and her accent only carries her so far.

» She was scouted. Sales is a constantly changing field and Dana, though decent at it, was not immune from the changing market. Though she has little experience in this particular industry, her skills have carried over enough to where she was picked to act as a manager without knowing the full details of the job. Some might call into question her place or purpose, but she's committed to the job. She is here to make her client look good and win matches. That's the long and short.

|Looks & Style |
» Among some of the more known members of the roster - particularly the ones that do the wrestling - Dana probably doesn't hold a candle looks wise, or at least that's her view. She has a certain...girl off the street look for her, which is coincidentally almost fully accurate. But she doesn't feel the need to dress skimpily or like some stuffy business broad because of it. Hers is a natural sort of charm and charisma, with an expressive face that works well with her pale skin and burnt hair color. She manages to be just as confident, if not more so, than the people who are confident solely because of their bodies - and she doesn't have to be a bitch to get that across.

Unless chosen otherwise by the company, Dana will typically be found sporting business casual attire - a holdover from her sales jobs - with blouses and pants when she's speaking and clothes she can move in when at ringside. She never dons heels or boots, always a nice pair of shoes, sneakers generally, with an unkempt natural look about her hair. Casually, the sweater, skirt, tights combo is one of her stand-by outfits. It serves her well. Let the hussy's show their skin. That's not Dana Flynn.

» Smooth talking, charismatic, sassy, classy, not really much of an assy, one hype machine roarin' lassie. But of course, that's the image she projects because that's what sells. When she sees the groups, has the lights beaming down on her...it's hard not to feel a bit overwhelmed at everything. She's still so green. And at this point she'll believe anything if it comes from a professional or veteran. What does she know? Not much.

» Being the new girl she's already expecting to be the victim of some pranks, some sort of method of hazing the new blood. She has a willingness to perform well that, combined with the fact her on-screen persona is pretty much who she is all the time, makes her sort of an annoying presence over long periods of time. Dana thinks she's hilarious, which is why she's always wanting to be the first one to crack a joke and the first one to blame other people if they don't laugh at it. Easy to like, easier to want to get rid of, but at least she means well.

» Hana "Death Adder" Song is a striker pure and simple. She likes using quick, accurate strikes rather than going for grapples or a good ground game. Grapplers are slow and cumbersome and tire out easily. People that focus on submissions are just trying to show off and are too passive to truly go for a killing shot. Her kicks are lethal. Her slaps and chops are like being bitten by pure venom. And that's only what she does legally. The Death Adder is not above using whatever methods are available to her to ensure her opponent is not getting up. Cheating? Fair game. Beating down pre or post match? Loves it. Mind games? She wrote the fucking book on these bitches. Like the venomous snake she is, each shot is precise and delivered in such a way to turn even the most cocksure of opponents into nothing but a weeping pile of tears, fears, sadness and pain. The Death Adder is not just a wrestler. She's an assassin.

» Like the snake she named herself after, Hana sees herself as someone packing a lot of venom in a smaller package. Not someone you want to trust, her words are just as much a weapon as her feet are. It's all about her, meaning that if she stands to gain nothing, she'll do nothing, but if there's something to be gained then there is no limit, short of actual crimes, that she won't go to to ensure that she is the last woman standing. Never one to accept a fair fight fairly, a real snake in the grass, waiting for the right time to sink her teeth into unsuspecting victims. Everything she does is in order to cut her victims down to size. She doesn't have opponents. She has victims. Hana is not above intentionally losing a match if she isn't interested in whoever is put against her; she picks her victims, not the other way around. And they'll know when the eyes of the Adder are on them. It isn't just a deconstruction in the ring, either. Hana bites into them, spreading her venom, using her words to cut them down, using her strikes to hurt them, and ultimately leaving them dead in the ring. Metaphorically, of course. It doesn't matter how long it takes, Hana isn't done until she stands over her latest victim, taking in the expression of fear and pain that is on their face.

Hana is the Death Adder.

» She would be a face if people didn't find her lack of morals and willingness to cheat or not fight to be hate worthy. So she's a heel. A heel that doesn't discriminate.

|Backstage Rep |
» Hana doesn't have backstage friends because she intentionally doesn't let people get close to her. As far as people are concerned, who she is when she's the Adder is who she is all the time. Needless to say she doesn't have the most sterling of reputations given her work ethic. She will flatout refuse to work a match against someone she is not interested in fighting and it has lead to many complications with the staff and her fellow roster members. When she does have a match she cares about, though, Hana isn't against being a general, calling a match on the fly. No one can deny she knows her stuff, it's just that she's so selective about when she shows it off. Hana could well be a nice person, she just doesn't show much in the way of consideration for the roster. If someone starts an argument backstage, most of the time it's Hana's fault. She has no filter backstage - and only barely has one when the cameras are on. People often wonder how she hasn't gotten fired and that, of course, leads to all sorts of rumors from all sides.

People have noted, however, that Hana tends to soften up right around the time it's wellness policy check time. There's bound to be a reason.

» Juniper Bug fights crime and fights for justice with agility and precision, which is to say that despite not having wings she does seem to fly. A high flyer mixed with punching strikes (comic book sound effects not included) combines with a never-say-die attitude. She doesn't float like a butterfly but she does sting like a Juniper Bug. She will never resort to underhanded tactics to win and her biggest, greatest asset is the amount of gas she has in her tank. It wouldn't do well if she could only manage to run and jump for five minutes before slowing to a crawl. An aerial striker with an infectious spirit.

» Juniper Bug is, in every sense of the word, a superhero. Her attire, which is always poppy bright colors of blues, whites, greens, and yellows (and all emblazoned with her heroic insignia) looks as if she popped out of the pages of a comic book, slapped on a wrestling mask, and trotted down to the ring. Which isn't all that far off. She takes her position as a hero seriously, always wanting to inspire the audience - particularly the young viewers - and always being the first to sign on for press tours or guest appearances. In a way, wrestling is like superheroes in the flesh. They may not save the world from destruction but they can still bring hope and inspiration and justice to the bad guys. Her trademark is coming down to the ring and giving her mask to a young person in the crowd; it's okay, she has a mask on underneath just for that occasion. When her words and out-of-ring persona don't tell enough of her heroism, her in-ring ability does the job. High flying, exciting, hard hitting action combined with a never-say-die attitude makes for a heroic clash anytime she's in the ring.

» No one can deny her commitment to the character and ultimately that determines how people view her. Some find her annoying to constantly stay in character even when in the locker room, others find a bit of admiration in it. What can't be looked down on is her willingness to involve herself with the fans either via social media or in-person appearances. Rumor has it that there's a bounty for anyone who can find a picture or video of her without the mask on but she's notoriously crafty about ensuring the mask stays on whenever she needs to make an appearance. She has to keep her civilian identity a secret otherwise the villains would know how to get at her, duh.

Nickname: 'Ellie' - it's a nickname she gave herself, as Eleanor, while a fine name in its own, is a bit old fashioned.

Ellie

Ellie carries herself like someone that is either trying too hard to be popular or not trying hard enough to stand out. Her day-to-day attire normally consists of rather unflattering sweaters in colder climates or simple blouses for her torso while skirts and jeans taken straight off the rack at a retail store pair perfectly with flats. Her hair is a light brown and medium length; a couple of months ago her hair was long and had curls in the front but no one commented on the medium cut when it happened. Either they didn’t notice or they didn’t care and Ellie wasn’t sure which one she would have preferred.

With a gentle face and well developed cheekbones, Ellie at a glance looks to be a priss or a church girl, though anyone who pays attention would know neither is exactly true. Anyone who pays attention wouldn’t really notice Ellie as anyone other than another face in the classroom. Physically she’s a slightly above-average height of 5’10, and thanks to being part of the cross country team she’s got a hell of a stride.

Personality Traits: Sarcastic | Judgmental | Isolated | Focused | Self-Assured | Goal-Oriented

Personality: Honestly, Ellie could have a fair number of friends if she both made the attempt to do so and stopped pretending like she didn’t care about the approval and opinions of other people. Ellie is someone that sits near the back-middle of a classroom and silently judges those around her while also hiding the jealousy felt towards them for having a wider social circle. Ellie tries so hard to go unnoticed that it’s basically to her detriment; she’s trapped herself in a self fulfilling prophecy where she believes that the reason people don’t notice her or befriend her is because of any other reason other than the fact that she doesn’t invite it herself unless acted upon. On any given day, Ellie’s most significant social interaction is either in group projects where she takes on the most responsibility because she’s immediately agreeable, or with the cross country coach.

That’s not to say that she’s anti-social. Far from it. She just has a tendency to judge first and let her own misguided opinions dictate things. If she put forth the effort she likely would be eating lunch with the other athletic circles. Perhaps because of her crippling lack of a social life, Ellie has managed to maintain a GPA high enough to be on the honor roll every year of school thus far. Her coach suggested she put her name forward for team captain, but Ellie figured no one would support her and didn’t even bother. Ellie’s own worst enemy really is herself.

Ability: Sonokinesis - The manipulation of sound and sound waves using the most obvious and direct method: her mouth. A bit ironic for one who is loudest with her own thoughts. She can, of course, use this offensively in the form of sonic projection and in theory she can change the form these sonic attacks take. Her senses are heightened towards sound as well, allowing for echolocation (as an example) and hearing heartbeats as if they were as audible as music - which makes it difficult to lie to her; and she can throw her voice, which is perfect for subterfuge. With training and better understanding, sonokinetic constructs or even flight/lift via controlled bursts/use of sound could well be possible.

Limitations: Sound requires a medium to travel through and Ellie’s medium at the moment is the air. She can’t use her powers to shock the earth or ping like a submarine’s sonar. Soundproofing a room all but nullifies her abilities as she doesn’t generate sound; clapping her hands makes noise but it’s hardly the same thing as generating sound, while something like a bustling street is like a buffet of glorious noise. Putting a ball gag or something similar in/over her mouth is damn near kryptonite.

Background: Ellie was born in the midwest to a police officer mother and a college professor father and for the first few years of Ellie’s life things were wonderful. A suburban home in a good neighborhood, walking distance to a park with the best damn swingset ever, and there were talks of getting a dog. The dog never came to pass as it turned out there already was one in the family. Ellie and her mother moved to Washington state after it came to light that Ellie’s father was having numerous affairs with students in exchange for bumping up their grade. Demanding a transfer to a different precinct, Ellie’s mom got as far away from her ex-husband as she could.
It was the move that really put things into perspective for Ellie. If her father, the one who loved her and got her an extra present every Christmas, was actually a disgusting person, what did that say about the people she saw and interacted with on a daily basis? Ever since the change in scenery, Ellie changed her outlook and her mother correctly blamed it on the whole messy divorce - though her mother incorrectly blamed it on herself.

Ellie found some solace in cross country. It was nice to have something that she could use to clear her head; she could just run and be guided by her own feet. While it was technically a team, she didn’t have to worry about complex playbooks or knowing when to pass and to who; she just had to keep herself from tripping and even if she did she just had to rely on herself to get back up again.

Ellie’s mom eventually started dating again and Ellie never really approved of any of them, though on that same notion she didn’t exactly disapprove. It was her mother’s current boyfriend that first mentioned anything about a list or a new school; how naive Ellie was in assuming he meant some kind of special needs or special college prep school. Either one might well have been preferred, though given the track record of people she let into her life turning around and being different from who she thought she wasn’t exactly surprised when the gas came in.

She was surprised that her own mother didn’t seem to be shedding any tears on their final meeting.

Despite not being close to the others that had been in the room and facility with her, killing someone wasn’t exactly an easy task, not that she wouldn’t have made the attempt if it meant she would be guaranteed security. It was probably for the best that she opted to escape, though knowing how people truly are she’s already prepared to be crushed by the reality of human individuality.
