I'd like to think I've matured with age but then on weekends I watch cartoons and eat too much sugar cereal in my pajamas so if anything I've stayed the same.

Bio
Look, I got lost on the way to getting some jajangmyeon and it'd be foolish to leave now.
Appearance Longest hair of the Reese siblings Yes, she wears glasses and yes she doesn't like it when people mention 'oh why don't you get contacts' or whatever. She's the tallest sister of the family at 5'8" Has a thing for long socks
Position Middle Reese Daughter
Secret Not So Secret: Is in danger of having to repeat a year at school if she doesn't pass a summer course
Wouldn't you like to know.
School Grade 11 at Millington High School
Occupation Technically she's the dishwasher at the Queen's Orchid but the only time she ever shows up to the family diner is when she can snag free food without having to work a shift for it. Her other siblings, excepting Meg, get to do the not shit jobs and she thinks it's blatant favoritism and that is something she won't support. She applied online for a position at Planet Rose but they didn't even let her interview when she showed up, something about age restriction. Her most recent attempt at getting a job was at the Roxy Cinema but they wanted her to clean up popcorn and sticky soda in a dimly lit space and if she wanted to clean gross stuff that people left behind she'd just go back to the diner.
Brina is currently unemployed. The world might need ditch diggers but that doesn't mean she'll be the one doing it.
Personality
If the Reese family had a swear jar, Sabrina would account for eighty percent of it; she's at that age. The age where profanity sounds cool and fun and so naturally she uses it almost too much, which of course is a lot less fun now that people think she's doing it as some sort of coping mechanism. It was when Ms. Hayes didn't give her a detention for calling geometry 'fucking stupid' that Sabrina released what a gold mine she was sitting on. In wake of the goings-on with her parents and the kid sister she didn't have time to tease people started treating her different with the whole silent notion of "Oh she's grieving."
Sabrina was never much of a griever but she was quite boisterous and that hasn't changed.
A running joke that Brina has with Meg was that Meg "stole all the brain power" from Brina given that of the Reese siblings, Sabrina is far and away the least intelligent. She's not willfully ignorant and she's not developmentally challenged, she's a bad student and has a hard time applying concepts and retaining them. She uses her fingers to do simple addition and multiplication. But that never bothered her, nor did it bother her when counselors and teachers thought she might have had ADD or a disorder, and when she heard them discussing it in hushed tones with her dad during a conference she had to proudly proclaim that she didn't have a disorder she was just stupid.
Though just because she's stupid didn't mean she wasn't sharp. Book smart was one thing, but book smarts didn't help you understand people the way Brina seems to. Despite her low GPA and test scores, Brina is quite perceptive at times and often surprises people with her comments or suggestions that are never considered or overlooked. Her understanding of people is why she understands that even a few months gone she can use her family's troubles to her advantage. Normally that might strike one as a bit sociopathic but it's more like Brina is exploiting empathy: suddenly getting an F on a test is met with sympathy instead of a stern talking to and that's a gravy train she's willing to ride to potato town. Sabrina isn't a sociopath, she's practically a con artist and the con is making people think she's having trouble with grief.
When it comes to her siblings, she doesn't hate them but she can't shake the feeling that collectively they look at her like the black sheep even before everyone started to be moody and depressed. Because of her way with people, Brina has taken the opportunity to try and use her unique position as the forgotten outlier of the family (her words, no one else's) to get her brothers and sisters to stop caring so much about their dead mom and their likely just as dead father and sister. It likely hasn't worked but someone in the household has to be the loud one. At least until she moves out. Then they're on their own.
Short Bio
It's always hard being the middle child, but Sabrina Reese feels like she's going through life on very hard mode.
If Robin was the problem child then Sabrina was the wild one, the one who would break two plates just because she liked the way it sounded on shattering and then blame it on whoever could take the fall. It was often Megara up until Megara started being all smart. To say she favored either parent or sibling would be untrue. She often mocked - and still does - Abigail for being a clone of their mother which led to a particularly bad moment in the weeks after the suicide where Brina, in a fit of annoyance, shouted at Abigail to "follow in mom's footsteps if you wanna be her so badly!"
That was not a good night for Sabrina Reese.
Sabrina used to think she was adopted since her hair was darker and longer than her siblings and parents and because of her shocking lack of intelligence and social grace and while her parents went out of their way to show Sabrina the birth certificate, she remains not fully convinced still. It's how she explains why she feels like an alien even among her family. Family was supposed to be this grand thing you can rely on, but in Sabrina's case she never really felt like she could - and she still really doesn't despite her trying to be the glue that mends the broken plate that is the Reese siblings of late.
The only thing she felt she got from her parents was her love of music. If Sabrina has one talent it's in music production. For her tenth birthday, Sabrina got a synthesizer and by age thirteen she was putting together crude mixes; she's only gotten better - she's on Soundcloud now - and if there's one thing she does miss about her parents it was the look of, well, pride they had when Sabrina played her first original piece. Sure it was a really bad drum loop with synth noises but dammit the applause and hugs after it felt good. Great, even.
She'd maybe like to feel that way again. Even just once.
Appearance: Olivia wears her mixed heritage as well as she can, with olive skin and medium-length brown hair that match with the sharp features of her jawline which otherwise betrays the softer, more gentler facial features that so often had her pegged as something of an easy target. Her eyes are a muted hazel and if asked she thinks her nose is a bit on the small side though not enough to consider it a glaring flaw with her own confidence and appearance. While not typically into the more pastel colors, Olivia does almost always wear a jacket with dark pink lining - a memento of sorts that stands out compared to her normal day-to-day of black jeans, heeled boots, and shirts obviously purchased from a thrift store.
Personality: Once upon a time Olivia dreamed of following in her father's footsteps and joining the police force - and that's probably where her sense of justice and keen instincts came from, and why they'd skewed over the years. It wouldn't be out of line to say that Olivia is almost unflinchingly dedicated to her own morals and that, combined with her own personal code of honor, has led to a few scraps - most recently causing her to lose a job because of a hunch that her boss was harassing an employee to which she responded by dumping a hot pot of coffee on his head and breaking a finger on the hand that did the groping. It could be seen as maternal, in a way, her sticking up for someone who didn't have the gumption to ask for it.
Olivia maintains a firm belief in acting over waiting, which is to say if she sees or hears about someone she knows or is around being mistreated or abused - often within or without the bounds of the law - she'll do what she can to make sure it gets sorted and reported to the authorities...assuming she doesn't just try and handle things herself. She knows she isn't the law or even the judge or jury but she likes to think she does more for 'the little guy' than people who just wear bracelets and start a conversation. And one day she'll be the law, and she'll do a damn good job if she said so herself.
Background: Olivia was forced to grow up faster than most children but she doesn't see that as a bad thing exactly. She grew up in a single parent household being raised by her papi in a modest one bedroom; more often than not she was given the bedroom while her dad slept on the couch but she would always make sure he had a blanket when he fell asleep watching late night television. Her father was a beat cop who often regaled a young Olivia with stories about life as a cop and it wasn't until she was older and wiser that she learned that eighty percent of the stories were just plot summaries of old cop shows. But she loved that about her dad, the way he told stories.
When Olivia was eight, her father was shot in the line and passed away shortly thereafter. At the funeral she lost count of how many people put their hands on her shoulder and told her what a brave and good man her father was. It was nice, but the words still rang a little hollow for the girl. Olivia became a child of foster care but it took three years for her to come out of her shell and by the time she did she begged her foster parents to let her take up martial arts - she settled on savate.
Olivia never finished high school. She got expelled for getting into fights - she had a bad habit of fighting bullies which only served to make her an even bigger bully in the eyes of the school board. She was forced to get her GED once she realized she needed one to even attend the police academy. When Olviia took the exam she failed despite her physical aptitude exceeding expectations; the psych evaluation was what sunk her as it was believed she was one who would be reckless if it meant getting an arrest and that wasn't what the Angel Grove Police Department needed.
With her dream dashed for the moment, Olivia took to odd jobs. Waitress. A secretary for a hot second. She got turned down for a security guard job and presently works at an auto shop. It's not glamorous but it allows her to keep a roof over her head.
