Current You'd think after like 15 years I'd stop feeling like a fraud when writing posts but I still do which is both a statement on my self confidence and a compliment to how good my partners are as writers

The older I get the more I start to think BBQ potato chips are the worst flavor, actually.

According to who?

The community of people that plays Digimon games still.

If they can adapt Stephen King novels they can adapt Saya.

Worked out for The Dark Tower
Kingdom Hearts 3

I dont consider Cyber Sleuth a good game.

Of course you don't, but then there still exists other good Digimon games so still the comparison is flawed gg no re.

For 90% of visual novels I'd agree but Saya No Uta is short enough where I think a movie adaptation could work without cutting too much from the narrative and its also 'universal' enough where it could be a non-japanese adaptation and still make sense.

Hence why it already got adapted as an american comic.

The American comic was trash, though. A live action Saya no Uta would either suffer from Japan's comical lack of decent effects or a lost in adaptation western adaptation where it would likely cut out all the squicky morally evil stuff and make next to no money. There's a reason why visual novels/eroge work better in the serialized/animated sphere.
TIL a review is the same as impressions

And even then that 'gotcha' isn't exactly me singing its praises, man.

Ithink all the world games are trash apart from the next order, so that's ONE good Digimon game and my comparison remains unwrecked.

That still makes two good games, then, since Cyber Sleuth isn't a World game.

Did you know that Saya No Uta might be getting a film adaptation?

I can't forsee an outcome where this is a good idea.

That's an interesting way to spell 'Digimon World: Next Order'

The fact that there are, based on this, two good Digimon games kinda wrecks the comparison don't it. gg no re

(I don't really like the World games apart from World 2 and even then that's just out of blatant nostalgia because that game is hot trash)

RDR 2 likely winning GOTY is just proof that putting out a tedious, blatantly unfun chore of a game is fine so long as Rockstar is on the box

Yeah weird how playing a game can, like, I dunno, color and change opinions. Odd that someone enjoying the game at the start only to find incredible flaws the more they played it can happen. It's like...it's like why people should tend to finish something before making a truly declarative review or whatever. If you want some kind of medal for saying it first then congratulations, you crossed the finish line first.

And I stand by my put-down there have been no good spider-man movies previous but one was inoffensive and another was okay. If the PS4 game was a movie it'd be better than all of them.

Ehhh it'd be maybe third.

But being the best Spiderman movie is like being the best Digimon Game.

It's Cyber Sleuth, by the way.
@Dynamo Frokane I stand by my earlier comments. There have been three good Spider-Man movies and one that is just okay but a victim of its own era.

@Dynamo Frokane To generalize, because late at night and using phone, they seemed to be heavily politicizing it. And the movie wasn't political at all, so I don't know why it was spun that way.

Just because something isn't blatantly political doesn't mean it isn't. Spiderverse might not be as aggressive as Black Panther but it's still making a statement with its existence and presentation anyway.

Not the only one. XD

Well when it was first introduced and promoted, it didn't show "Spider-Ham". So I sort of had a different genre/tone in mind. The other trailer gave 'this will be the teen titans/big hero six movie' vibes. ^_^'

The first trailer had a blend of comedy and Spider-Man stuff and was still fairly lighthearted throughout. I'm not sure quite what tone you had in mind but Spider-Ham was just the cherry on an already humorous sundae.
