That moment you've got too many rp ideas floating in your head, but you don't want to overwhelm yourself? Yeah... I'm right there, suffering in silence.

RP hunting is like finding the rare toy in the cereal box. Doable, but the time and effort is nearly more than I can bare!

That amazing high when you realized how far you've come in improving your writing. It's impossible to describe, but drowns you in a positive glow.

I love being a terrible person by making my PCs' lives miserable, it's art form that never gets old or boring.

That is because I have been bad and not put it in yet.French Demo guy, his CS is like only a page or two back. Him and Echo are still collabing on his arrival scene. So you would probably do to pair up with someone with the welcoming committee. I'll let you decide who you want to guide your char around

Yeah... This might help a bit: I'm going to try to be online, early, on Tuesday or Wednesday. So that should help.

I'm not going to have proper computer access till monday cause the library is closed on Sundays.Whose in the welcoming party?

Know that feeling. Currently I'm online on my iPad at the laundry place, which means Chatroom is a no go and it will be hell doing the collab. I'll try regardless.

Oh, I thought you were using the active. I'll change that.

No, I usually mention the name if I am. It was a clear mistake, I should've made myself clearer.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

Emily

Emily barely registered the blade piercing it's mark. Her mind already raced to the next step of cushioning Fran, unaware her hand left the weapon behind. Nor had she seen Steve's vanish and a clear sign of Sean's passing. Everything was slow motion. As if someone had gummed up father time's watch, caught in an invisible river. Up until the moment Fran's body connected with hers.

Her mind was ripped back into the present.

The woman's front drove into her own, their figures twisted together briefly when Emily hit the sands first. Time snapped forwarded like some forced gear clock, Emily's senses and awareness jarred into overdrive. Despite the ground not being completely solid, it wasn't as soft a landing as most would assume. Sands really were nothing more then finely grounded rock after all.

Crack! A muffled but hard to dismiss sound filled her with dread. Her fear was followed up by a wave of searing ache, likely one or two fractured on impact. However that didn't stop her arms from wrapping about her fellow holder and trying to bear most the landing. The million sharp grains scratched on her exposed flesh and clothes, sleeves budded signs of blood seeping through in patches. Emily was pretty sure she looked like a complete mess.

After she had hit the ground, Fran rolled off and away from her crumbled figure, allowing her lungs to gather back air lost. They seemed to be useless in assisting her tries. A fresh scent, one she knew to be blood, filled her nose with its rustic smell. Pain...was the first thing her voice gave life to when air finally found her heart. A strangled cry like a wild, wounded animal realizing her weakness. Tenderly she shoved her body onto her belly and tried to rise.

Cerberus stood stone still beside her. His eyes, voided of pity or compassion, watched his holder's stirring of life. Only when she failed once did he break his composure. Slowly he lowered his muzzle close to her ear causing Emily's eyes to jerk to the side and finally noticing him there for the first time. Green flames licked his lips with each inaudible word he spoke into her ear. When he finished, Emily's face looked sick and her head jerked to Fran's still form in the opposite direction. The woman hadn't moved.

Cerberus mumbled one last sentence then backed away. Emily's fists balled tightly as her face lowered to the ground. Bitting back another scream she struggled to stand upright with greater determination. Her right leg slowly edged underneath her form and with it, another pain wave washed over her. Her dark eyes glared at Valor, noting his fury, with his chains rose high above and ready to slam down upon her. Strangely, despite her pissed expression, Emily felt completely in control. Where hate, fear and sorrow should've been only a sense of emptiness resided.

Warmth of her blood dripped down her lip. It wetted the gritty sand in her mouth and filled it with a nasty, rust taste. She wasn't going to die. The recall of Cerberus's words caused Emily's curiosity to sway, her eyes briefly sought where her spirit's form lurked within her mind. Was it even possible he could carry it out? Ignoring her building questions and unsettled worry, she slowly righted herself only to find her torso reeled against it.

Dammit...Emily inwardly cursed, she needed more time.

That's when two unlikely saviors, Octal and Eight, decided to tackle the wrathful armor. Emily's eyes widened at the unexpected aid. The ghost holder took hold of the chains while her spirit knocked in about Valor's waist. Without thinking about her injuries and the pain, Emily let the dagger vanish -as it seemed not to obstruct the spirit's vision at all- and pulled her hand back in a familiar posture. Her bow once more formed within her grasp, the familiar smoke wisps surfaced and her eyes narrowed upon her target: Valor's shoulder. The area had been cleared of any the scale like armor and was likely the weakest point, a fact she wanted to capitalize on. Blood dripped from her wounds while her ribs shifted unnaturally, breathing as difficult as it was painful, failed to distract her focus.

"You should've listened..." Emily managed to say in strained voice. Her fingers released and once the arrow cleared her bow, her leg gave out underneath her.

Quartz' projectile connected with the beast

Kestrel, what projectile are you refering to? Quartz is only using his fangs which requires him to be at close to medium range depending on size. Mainly cause his reach will be longer with the larger the size, though he could decreased the distance by flying, and he's only about half way to his full size by now at most. (And yes, with Eowyn's attack... poor Quartz is not coming out unscratched. *smirks*) I wasn't sure if I made myself clear or not in the last reply, but Aztec Winds isn't a long range attack unless it's conpressed into the active.

Also, posted up Emily.

I'm fine. Let it be known that I leave for a two-week trip on the 14th of august, and I won't return until the 2nd of september.

Alright, I can have Coco and Liam benched until then. I hope to have net in a week or two, but it's looking rather grim.
Kay

Kay had gotten her gear, uniform and equipment primed for the mission ahead. Her head swept back and tied up, the bangs removed from her eyes sight and fixed straight ahead within the ready room. Her nerves were bunched up like goats sensing an unseen wolf. She admitted to not liking the small window, despite Captain Black’s assurance their missions wouldn’t depend on each, she was still worried over the upcoming challenge. Over and over, her head ran the objectives in a lengthy list: make her team’s way to the gate facility, secure it and likely decapitate or kill all the Lucian Alliance within the appointed area. Her main anxiety didn’t come from the aspect of killing, but rather the completion of her mission. In the IDF, she was trained and exposed to death situations which had made her slightly numb to the aspect. Seeing a corpse didn’t disturb her as much as failure did, a fact her father though proudly about her. However in some, more judging eyes, she was viewed to be less compassionate.

Her hands secured her gun absentmindedly until Corporal Miller, new and currently under her command, claimed her attention with his words. Her eyes blinked then moved towards him. Absorbing the man’s appearance, she forced her head to nod and added in a softer tone. “Good, see the rest are ready. We’re currently waiting on orders from the Captain for beaming down. I want all eyes up and alert, we’re going into hostile territory and that means a high risk factor. Our goal is to make our way to the gate facility and secure it. Any opposing forces are being treated with prejudice, aim to cripple or kill. There’s also a high risk of hostages too so keep in check where you’re shooting and make sure it’s a hostile, not one of ours or the Langara’s.”

Only 1/3? Pah, amateur.

It really wasn't her as it was her Spirit that caused it. :P

EMILY WHY!? Wait, who was Emily again? *goes to check the character deposit*Oh, I haven't really been paying attention to her.

A rook, desert dweller who's currently responsible for killing 1/3 of a caravan in her last mission.

everytime you guys talk about those other missions, I find it hilarious because I have no idea what you're talking about.

Be thankful, Emily just committed murder and is about to get her ass handed to her because of it. :p She's not doing too hot.

Well, there is now! Nathair and Quartz at least. Also put up a little something for Clayman and Piper. That should help.

I'll likely get Emily and those two up, though Quartz is also concern with the fish too. I might have him dig a trench and a hole on route to Nathair, buying a little time for our fishy friend. The bad part is, unless the outside is glassed, the sand might soak up the water.
