Name: Deyika Aeson

Callsign/Nickname: Dey by her older brother

Age: 23

Rank/Title(Dependant on position): Lieutenant

Appearance:

Role: Technology support/maintenance, and pilot.

Nationality: Krylurian

Biography:

Kryluria, the planet in which Deyika and Tonak come from consists of two major nations. Each of these continents reached a level of technology equal to that of 1930s Earth, and like on Earth a war was brewing between each of the four nations. The activation of the Stargate in 2004 helped to arise old philosophical debates, the first continent largely followed the idea that their gods the Ancestors hid them from a great evil and deserved to rule over as the one true belief. The second felt that their singular god, Hades, had been the driving force in that same event but out of jealousy, the Ancestors casted him from rightful place as the sole true ruler over them all. Naturally, the conflict in religion had caused clashes among the two nations that pulled them apart in endless war.

The war had become more of a cold war in 2004 when the Stargate was activated. Of course the nation which worshiped Hades was told of the Goa’uld and they turned to have a sour relationship towards the Tauri while those who worshiped the Ancestors reveled in the opportunity to meet the direct descendents of the Ancestors. Tonak and Deyika are from the nation that worshiped Hades and as such became naturally sour towards the Tauri. However the Tauri managed to settle disputes between the two nations, to some degree. As such the Stargate was placed on Neutral ground so that its discovery could be a benefit to both people. Due to noticing their possible destructive influence the people of the Tauri announced they would not return to the planet, which only created contempt from the nation that worshiped the Ancestors believing they had been tricked into revealing what little information they had on Ancient ruins.

Since the Tauri’s departure and their patchwork peace negotiations, the two nations’ tensions had been building yet again over the collective years. Both twins were born to deep worshipers of Hades and likewise, expected their children to follow the same path. Their tactics in ensuring were rather aggressive, often leaving bruises and marks to punctuate their points. It wasn’t a surprise both Tonak and Deyika grew to hate their parents. When their thirteenth birthday rolled around, Tonak was already fully capable of using his knife and was that day their parents had went too far. Deyika had forgotten the prayer words during dinner and in moments her father slammed her arm across the table’s edge causing the bone to crack. Their parents never made it to the next morning alive, Tonak made sure of that.

Once the bodies had been buried, leaving nothing but a memory, the pair ended up looking after each other. Each one had played to their own talents and managed to survive in their own little ways, supported by their loyalty and family bond. Deyika had learned the ins and outs of various technology which added to the coin her brother’s own ventures had purloined as a street smart pick pocket. Though they had little, their combined efforts ensured neither of them went to sleep completely hungry.

It was Deyika’s talent at fixing machines that ended up setting them on another path from eternal poverty and slow starvation. A military recruiter visited their crumbling hut to draft one of them into the Hades defense unit, but Tonak was determined not let his sister go alone. An offer was made: she doesn’t go anywhere without him. The man just scoffed at the teen’s stubborn and cocky attitude, even as his twin agreed, then tried to reason he had no skills of any worth. Tonak merely held fast to his words when the man finally turned to leave, his figure all the way to his jeep when it dawn upon him something was missing. His key jingled within Tonak’s fingers with a slight cocky grin. “No skills huh?”

The recruiter had to admit defeat in his earlier statement and gently took the pair into the jeep where each developed their skills. Tonak’s talent for stealth, ability to learn quickly and being a cold blooded killer were honed with training. It turned out he had an aptitude for gathering intelligence and blending well into enemy territory. Deyika’s skills took a far right turned on the other hand. Her skills laid in technology sabotage and engineering, including hacking and mechanics. Unlike her brother, she only could learn the basics of how to handle knife but nothing close to Tonak’s skill level, despite some of his efforts to teach her.

Everything seemed to have been going well until war broke out and Tonak discovered a ploy to send his twin into live combat, an operation to sabotage a truck full of explosive bombs. It was a suicide mission from his point of view and all the more reason to leave. For once, Deyika had voiced her own concerns against her brother’s plan. Unlike him, she didn’t want to lose their home and those they cared about. It wasn’t until Tonak suggested to use the Stargate and ask the Tauri for aid in stopping this war’s break out, did Deyika agree and follow him through.

The only reason Tonak even mentioned getting help was he knew it was the only way he would get Deyika to leave the planet if there was any chance of getting help. For as far as he was concerned they could fight until they had all killed each other she was his one and only concern. Upon arriving at the Tauri they began talks with one of the local diplomats after being debriefed by the General of the facility. He assured them that he would look into the prospect of helping them out and in the meantime they would be granted asylum. It looked as if their problems would be solved.

However higher up in the Pentagon it was decided that they would not risk human lives on this conflict that had nothing to do with them, especially when there was little to no gain. Feeling sour, and after Deyika had to stop Tonak from killing someone the pair left out into the Galaxy to try and find someone who would help them. It felt like ages before they found someone, each village, planet and more they came to seemed to be one dead end after another for the pair. Finally they met..him. A man, a small time warlord under the Lucian Alliance’s flag, who listened to their story and request. His words seemed to utter hope and reason that her brother seemed slightly impressed by them. Little did she know until Tokan said it that he also saw the slight bull shit within them. Deyika thought he went insane and in moments they were going to be killed, at least until she heard the warlord laughing at Tokan’s guts. She softened to see a less fake smile upon her brother’s lips.

After Kane offered his aid, they took it and showed him where to find Kryluria. That’s when subjugation started, Kane threatening the Krylurians with his own small fleet of Al'kesh and Gliders. It was over before it had started leaving both sides underneath the warlord’s power. At first when she saw the treatment of those under Kane’s rule, Deyika had mixed feelings upon what they did.Wasn’t until her brother explained it was for the best, to stop the fighting from happening and find common ground in suffering. Deyika accepted it was the only possible way because her brother made sense. Unable to stay there, Tonak approached Kane in terms for a ship, but instead came away with employment much to his twin’s surprise. For the next several years they worked towards Kane’s goals to expand his power and grow his empire, During that time, their skills grew until they became important assets and one of the few he trusted to get a job done. Over time their toys and tools ended up growing into a wide array that often made their task easier. And for their current mission, both Tonak and Deyika had a feeling they would need all the aid they could manage to complete it.

Personality: will show IC…

Trivia:

-Out of the pair, Deyika’s the more techno skill set including but not limited to: Piloting, maintenance and repair of the ship as well as Tonak’s own toys. She knows the ins and out of her own ship, from the software to physical blue prints.

-Though Tonak is her twin, they have different last names for Dey’s own protection when she heads off ship for supplies and keep her brother’s enemies from drawing the connection.
Alright, Rescuers! Your mission is up, feel free to write your intro from the ship to the planet side and right up the scene. Currently I suggest you all dress like natives rather than Jedi, as Lyric would've preferred you all not draw attention to yourselves. The three thugs are one Rodian, Twi'Lek male, and human with some alien mix in him. :p If you need more, let me know.

Leaving the Jedi to go their own preparations, Lyric was left alone again and so in his usual habit, he began to wander the ship. His boots threaded the metal hallways built for various 'big frame' aliens and seemed to echo back to him. Lyric's hand had long ago tossed his last ciggarra away when it finally expired, know he was going to have to make his current stash last. Already thinking about it, his hand itched to reach in for one and lite it, calming his budding jitters. Thankfully, he resisted. In the back of his mind, he could see Melloch smirking in the background at his resistance while he pulled closer to the war room. The doors hissed just when the hologram flickered to life.

In front of him was a young, recently knighted boy no older than nineteen. The hologram was shrouded in laser lights of blue hiding the true colors and casting a crude light, his face bowing to the master in rank before him. In respect, Lyric returned it as he listened to the youth speak. “Master Lyric, we’ve discover something useful that might aid you in finding our lost brethren and sisters.”

His hand moved to the side and immediately a droid outline appeared, the design strange. Lyric turned to absorb the strange droid and edged toward it, his eyes trying to mark it for identification. Sadly his mind failed because he lacked the ability, turning to the Knight to explain. Seeing the master finish examining, he continued his report while the image rotated, information not being stated flickering before the master’s eyes. Namely location sightings where the machines had been seen, the fact it was a short list helped. When the conversation ended, the hologram shut off and the master departed to retrieve the others.

~|Arrival: 3 days, 19:30 GST|~
Location: Mos Eisley, Tatooine

The Memory of the Coruscant arrived an hour later, docking upon the ship dock Mos Eisley. A bustling and rough settlement, the streets bustling full of aliens and humans alike, where Kennith’s contact was reported to be last seen. The contact was named Karile Horis, an elderly man in his late forties, and according to the Knight’s information he owned a scrap shop, stripping down and recycling old machines to be repurposed. It was here, somewhere in the city, where they had discovered the remains and information over some unique droids used during the Sacking. What made them unusual were the fact they would explode when any attempt to slice them were made and often republic and Jedi investigators were injured, unable to disarm them before they blow up.

Kennith led the way toward Karile’s shop, a shoddy and small dome like building with its location just on the outskirts. Upon approaching the building the rescuers would notice three men standing outside in the dusty scenery. Arguing with them appeared to be the contact, Karlie, as the conversation seemed to become more heated by the moment. The darker complex of the four, Karlie feverishly waved his hands about with a protest that could easily be picked up by bypassers. .

“Tell Janglor, that debt was paid! I sent it with his errand girl, Jiek. You should be talking to her, not me.”

The human scoffed, his hand lingering toward his blaster at his belt. “Don’t play with me. He doesn’t like to be seen as the fool and you’re in deep as it is, Karlie.”

None of them seemed to have noticed the Jedi approaching them.

Oh don't be a baby, it puts hair on your chest.

Which you'll turn gray soon enough! :p
Looks at the conversation and grumbles about more work...
<Snipped quote by Fallenreaper>

Well, since Robeatics seems to have fallen of the face of the planet, I'll be happy to join in order to get interaction going between Icarus and Racheli. We'll find a way to get that working. Sound good?

No problem, though you could have Gabriel stash the trunk somewhere safe and summarize what happened? Last I knew, you two were still fighting over that damn thing. If Robeatics is MIA, than gloss over it. *pauses and looks around for the Player to suddenly pop up like last time* :p

Besides, I think Justine could use the help or she might have a hellish time against this NPC. Think a cocktail of Batman's Bane and the Hulk powers, with a nasty cocky attitude and alpha dog complex. He would enjoy tearing apart anyone that can challenge him, including any girls. Sadly, Racheli's down and out because the virus heading toward it's end stages sadly.

Also, still looking over your PM btw. You seem to time it when all my rps want me and I've not figured out how you do that!!!
Raa was too closed off to notice anything happening around her. Her hands closed about her helmet and protecting herself, shaking like a leaf. Even worse were her own thoughts. Over and over, she was thinking she had been shot and any moment she would collapse from it. She shot me… I’m dead...I’m dead… The ideas seemed so real. So plausible to her when her eyes spotted the gun flash and heard the bang, not fully realizing it wasn’t aimed for her at all.

Like Raa, everyone already reacted to the attempted murder in different ways.

Donny shot forward and slammed the Turian down, cutting her, ordering her to stand down. Meanwhile she pleaded for her life and curled up into a defensive ball, similar to Raa. Tacticus made a muffled shout, his botic shield raised, while he felt a hand on his shoulder. His commanding officer scolded him and reminded him to butt out next time, her body turned to walk away to set up a defensive perimeter. Avatar had already stepped toward the terminal, preparing it, before taking out its shotgun. When RK got a request for the virus, she immediately uploaded for the Geth to insert, her hands still busy with trying to get Raa back on her feet. Already Solares, who had shooed away Donny, was tending to the Turian female and her wounds.

Raa wasn’t seeing any of it, her mind settled in pure shock. Her fingers had partially tried to break her helmet with their pressure but thankful she wasn’t strong enough as she curled there trembling like a leaf. She wanted to go home, where it was safe and she wasn’t being shot at. It took a moment or two for her realize she was being pulled upright. Voira’s eyes studied, checking her over, seeking for some small wound or tear before seemingly satisfied. Sensing Raa’s terror, Voira’s arms wrapped about her and held her close. Raa was immediately attracted to the security, Raa hugged back and leaned into it. She finally noted the fighting was done when the others, mostly the cabalist, started to pull ranks toward the door. It seemed they were setting up a defensive perimeter.

Gently, Voira, after calming her down, had guided her to the terminal. When her hands touched the console, RK took over and started to speak. “Alright, Raa. Can you hear me hun?”

Raa nodded, meekly. Her digits already on the keyboard as she paused, her mind blank for what she was suppose to do. RK naturally filled her in with a gentle nudge and quickly downloaded the virus. It would take some time while the pair prevented anyone from tampering with it before it complete. Raa’s fingers flew across the keyboard quickly and her mind faded from the scene, absorbed into her work. While RK talked, muffling out the sound within Raa’s helmet, she focused on keeping her charge centered on her task at hand. Being close to the terminal and from the direct fire, they were both sadly unaware of the bouncing grenade into range.
And Blood Timeskip is away!!!!
Time Skip- 5 days: Opening Feast
Morning

Dawn redden the skies in the normal twilight fashion across the College skies, making them bleed crimson. It was a solemn and silent reminder, the historic scars erased in a few days, that no one truly forgotten the events of last Opening Feast. The last few days since the missions had passed into a subtle lull. Mostly individuals being healed within the medical, their supplies nearly dwindled to about a third of their reserves, as students were allowed time off. Now the day’s morning was nothing more than a series of busy bodies stirring to prepare for the new arrivals and diplomats arriving nearer noon. Most the college areas showed some evidence of the upcoming Feast.

The most dominant were the kitchens. Various scents and platters were escaping the ovens, the aromas were scattering throughout the inner walls and making most students ambling past water at the mouth. The hard work could be heard through clattering dishes and pots, the chiefs and staff helping to brew easy to eat items for a light lunch until the main event. Dishwashers were banging the wooden and ceramic as the food vanished into water, rinsed by the simple touch of a rune that once again flushed it clean and ready for another round of soap. The Gardens outside were trimmed, cut and decorated by many of Lucilia’s students from mages at all stages, their skills put to good use. Pretty red to yellow, flowers of all kinds littered the once green grasses to break up the monologue in the summer scene. Others were cleaning out the pond where the fish were caught and farmed with barely a ripple. Further out was stables being cleaned as Guardsmen patrolled the grounds, their eyes peeled for trouble. Forges were closed for anything larger than a horseshoe to make a better impression which upset, especially Tyrael, artisans within the areas of weapons forging and runes.

Inside Khan’s office was purged of all demonic life and cleansed, returning it back to its original state, as students scrubbed the stone walls. The brush gleaned away the grim until the walls looked like new again. Golems milled around to check the area around for threat, ensuring the students were safe. Healers and Sam were stocking the medical wing should this event turn into the last.
