You showed up.
One way or another, you've arrived at my profile. You've taken a wrong turn in an alleyway because you didn't pay enough attention to your map. You've heard of something cool and new and thought maybe you'd see what all the fuss is about? Or maybe it is that you noticed like me updating my status or were lurking through an RP or something I am in and just kinda clicked my profile, that happens too. Regardless, you'll come to learn that your actions have consequences. Not this one since you can always just, like, leave.
I have a few names and I don't mind being called whatever you fancy at that given time. KingofTheSpectrum, FamishedPants, ChadChadlainn. Any derivative of these is fine as well. Most tend to use Pants, however. I'm nearing my thirties and enjoy games, anime, V-tubers, and visual novels. You can find my still-obsolete list here as it contains everything important on it.
As for games particularly, I am a huge fan of Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Nier and its sequel, FFXIV, and recently, Project Wingman.I tend to lean towards shooters and action games, but I have also wasted 8+ years on League of Legends. I think the only games I tend to avoid are card games and sports games, but there can always be exceptions.
For anime, I tend to watch whatever looks entertaining. It doesn't have to be good. I've seen a lot of the generic, poor-quality isekai harems that are out there. It's difficult to remember what I actually genuinely like, but Chaika the Coffin Princess comes to mind, as well as FMA: Brotherhood. I'm currently enjoying Tokyo Revengers.
I've read my fair share of visual novels, as my list would tell you. I can't recommend going through Muv Luv Extra/Unlimited, then playing Alternative enough! Big fan of Rance, Grisaia no Kajitsu, and Demonbane as well. I could probably go on and on about them, but I'll stop here.
Well, it would appear that Aleph is lucky he ignored those slums.
Luck OP.
I'm not sure where I'm going to bring Heinrich though. If anybody wants fabulousness incarnate to show up, merely tell me so I have a reason to post with him. C:
@FamishedPants Over three hundred? Get on Vesta's level scrub. Everyone should know many Vesta has. After all it's over....
Pshh, Aleph presumably has quite a bit more kills on him, since he's been living off bandit attacks for a while now. Actually, since that's the case I almost think Aleph should have some form of reputation to the public, if only because he's been thinning them out, lol. In that way, he's technically actually doing a Hero's work when he's not being delusional and beating people with memes.
On that note, out-of-character-wise, people should note that Aleph is a very great swordsman, on account that he's been trained since he was a boy and implemented the techniques for quite a while now. It may not be clear because his in-rp fight consists of fighting ORG (One-Rock-Girl), but it's one of the only things besides delusions that he's good with.
Aleph was following this Corrin guy to a place he frequently frequented when all the sudden, some punk-ass, crying-ass, girl-ass girl and some goons appeared in an alleyway they were passing by. One of them even seemed to be part penquinz0. Well, a Hero's job wasn't to judge one by the stuff that gets them through the night, so he did his best to ignore it. But aside from that, the people here did not seem particularly demon-like, so there was no true reason for him to get excited or to draw his blade.... unless they did, of course.
Quite honestly, Aleph was hungry and wanted to hurry this along. People in need were important and all, but what if demons attacked them and he was too weak from hunger or his stomach growled in the middle of the fight? That would be very embarrassing, or deadly. Either situation wasn't pleasant to think about, so he wanted to eat as soon as he possibly could. But... it was his duty as the only Hero in the world to assist those in need when he could. He would feel bad if he left this lost woman in the presence of a pervert, too. That being the case, Aleph did not speak up against what his companion had begun saying.
Wearing a confident grin, the Hero awaited Corentine to finish his introduction before offering a small wave when he was mentioned.
Wait... what? What the hell is this? How does this fit the mood at all?
Uh... better, I guess? I think it will have to do.
Deciding against fighting whatever mysterious and unpredictable being had control over what OSTs started playing in his posts, Aleph instead returned his attention just as Coren made a promise for him. Well, that would likely slow his plans for grub, wouldn't it?
"Y-yeah, as a Hero, I would gladly lend a helping hand." he proudly stated, keeping his image of a Hero up...mostly. Hopefully, she would need a helping hand to or around some grub though, that would be nice. Perhaps he would get lucky and they would wind up nearing the tavern he intended to go to or something? Well, as long as it was away from the obvious trouble that was the direction of the slums, anywhere should be good. He wasn't a picky eater.
Toph huh? Well you're right on more than one account by comparing her to Toph. Minus the blindness of course XD Also on the topic of adding him, has he even been accepted yet? XD
I do what I want. Also I got the OK from the Co-GM, still waiting for the GM's response, though. I placed it in the characters tab so it would be easier to find.
Exactly my thoughts XD Vesta would train anyone really if you can convince her. Though her training is spartan and she wouldn't go easy on you XD (Even ask poor, poor defenceless Avery XD). Plus Vesta's own blessing can kinda do the same >.> (Only in earth magic though. So while he mightn't be able to best her in that, he still has the other 5 to throw at her XD) Think being thrown into a gladiator ring with no weapons or armor and you have to beat a five bears, three lions, seven tigers and twenty fully armed gladiators by yourself using just magic and that's Vesta's basic training for beginners XD
Alright, I decided that Vesta is Toph. We'll have her learn that positive reinforcement is imperative to his success as the Avatar. Except it isn't and if we put Heinrich through that, he would survive, but might be a little bit mentally scared (read as: a lottle bit).
EDIT: Added Heinrich to my characters post, gave him a fighting theme.
@FamishedPants Eh Vesta will regard him with the same amount of fucks she gives most people. Zero. XD PS: Vesta would still fight him XD
And she would win without fail, currently. Heinrich is more or less useless in a fight. All of his blessings give him the capacity to be godlike at anything he does... he just kinda needs to do it first. He would certainly be a terrifying Earth mage if Vesta was to teach him.
But she's an attractive girl, so there's problems on his end about that. We'll ignore the fact that I am not too confident Vesta would ever want to train him to begin with XD
EDIT: @Rune_Alchemist Sorry to see yet another one go, I wish you well on the adventure known as "Life".
Blessing of Perfection: A blessing fit for a god amongst men. One could even say this is a gift given to anybody who approaches him, as his mere presence is a blessing itself. There is nothing he does not have, nor can't obtain. This is not an actual blessing, but the name given to the overwhelming amount of blessings he was given, as the list is very long.
Blessing of Beauty: Aesthetically pleasing to everybody and anybody, regardless of race or sexual preference. Some people may even be captivated by merely looking upon him. No matter what he may attempt, he'll always appear gorgeous in some way or another. Perhaps the strangest of his blessings, he is incapable of certain actions outright, such as showing visible fear or not having a strong, commanding voice at most times. It is likely that even were he to be murdered, his death would also be fabulous. Note: Has a slight glow.
Blessing of the Body: Every physical aspect of him is at its maximum potential (without magical aid) and remains there. He is as agile as a gymnast, strong as a weightlifter, fast as an olympic sprinter, and has extraordinary stamina and reflexes to boot. Of course, these are still within the realm of human abilities. He is also immune to normal illnesses and resistant to poisons.
Blessing of Intelligence: Blessed with a bright mind, capable of rivaling that of a genius. This blessing simply gives him the capacity to be brilliant, as first he must be given the chance to learn. Essentially, this just means that he retains most everything and can learn things quicker than normally possible.
Blessing of Magic: Able to utilize any kind of magic, as well as having a gate that puts many to shame.
Miscellaneous Other Blessings: Specific but generally irrelevant and pointless blessings, such as being able to read backwards and having near-indestructible hair. Capable of opening a door and then walking the dinosaur 100% of the time.
Personality
One could easily guess just what kind of person the "perfect" human could be, given that he's got more blessings than most people can count. He would justifiably be arrogant, as there could be few to equal him. He could be cruel, knowing that few are worthy of him. He could be bored senseless, as there would be no challenges in this world. But none of these are correct. In truth, the "perfect" being is little more than a lousy NEET.
Heinrich is somewhat cowardly and socially-inept as his true character. He doesn't like talking to others or dealing with the spotlight, but it often falls upon him, and his blessing of beauty generally makes it impossible for him to avoid this. He absolutely loathes the blessings he has been cursed with, as they conflict with his natural desire to seclude himself be isolated. Furthermore, as he cannot physically look anything less than gorgeous, showing such emotions as fear or seething anger is impossible for him -- his face will not allow it. Because he then looks mature or otherwise more brave than he truly is, people tend to flock to him, much to his chagrin.
Cowardly as he is, Heinrich is not someone to confront another aggressively and is rather passive. His voice is now strong, but this has not changed the fact. This would be the only time he finds his more prominent blessing as anything other than a curse, as most people don't pick fights with someone who looks like they could lift a tank with their pinky.
Background
Heinrich was born in some decades into the future of Earth, where VRMMO games are the norm, among other, less-important things. Perhaps it was because his parents were nerds or because he was rather obese when he was younger, but he never really had true friends growing up, and found respite within the virtual world. He spent countless hours playing and becoming better and better and did little to nothing else aside from eating or taking the trash out (his one chore).
But really, that's it. Nothing special at all. Until one day, he tried to log into his game and found himself in this new, real world. He, of course, mistook it for a game, but soon came to realize that wasn't the case and learned the shocking truth: There are no video games in this ugly, cruel world! His body had been changed, he witnessed his very own mind slowly change to a less-dim one, and learned a lot of general information about this new place.
He only started life here a mere month ago, but people have chose to follow and worship him as an unwelcome entourage, and he has learned to read and write. Aside from this, however, he has not learned any swordplay nor magics, so he's got nothing but the potential just yet.

I was tempted to make a Rance-like character but found a chuuni more appealing to roleplay in this instance, so I used him as a faceclaim. It is good to see others who can appreciate the beauty that is Rance. I would invite you to join my character in his quest for food, but I think I might be stuck in stasis with @Ryofu.
