I liked some things from 4e, but I'd like to see D&D go back to having more diverse skill sets and I'd love for the new edition to focus on the original campaign setting of Greyhawk rather than the Forgotten Realms tbh.

I'm happy that they are reviving Spelljammer and Dragonlance, but I really wish they would publish more adventure modules set in those places instead of just throwing out a setting book and expecting DMs to do most of the work. Like I own the Ravenloft and Theros setting books, and they are absolutely amazing, but aside from a small starter adventure in both, I'd still have to do a lot of work if I wanted to make a long-running adventure in both of those.

That being said, I’m not sure how I feel about the plans to make this new DND backwards compatible with 5e’s adventures… that seems like it might be a little limiting to be honest

Oh! Oh has anyone looked into the news on D&D One the next edition of Dungeons and Dragons? I'm kinda torn, I wanna like it but it just seems a bit too minimalistic at this point.

Heard bits and pieces about it. I like first level feats, I like backgrounds being given more importance, I like orcs being a core race, I like you being able to decide which of the planes your tiefling or ardling is descended from. (Though I have no idea why they are replacing aasimars entirely)

But I agree that some things need some fine tuning.
