Funny thing that the Faded city is an Urban environment, not?

I know right. It's almost like someone planned out this attack or something.
Well, there are varies for this to be happening, but indeed, air power alone can't do it, when you add mechas (some of them even fly on their own) to the mix, the picture changes quite drastically.

An urban environment is the one area where mechs would be more useful practically than actual tanks and such, at least if we were working by the normal rules of warfare/reality.
@KoL WAIT THAT MAKES SENSE I MEANT THE GUNSHIP. I'm gonna have Phantom tag along with Arms Slave, drop a Necrotic Bond onto the thing and just kinda watch it slowly fall out of the sky.

Judging from the above posts, I think they're saying 'git gud' and be glad that air power can't win a war by itself, cause you have no effective way of fighting back at the moment : (I just wanted to use that emoticon for once)
Some day KoL will stop tagging me for scenes that I'm not in :V

Why do you spoil my fun Flame?

Because I have no incentive not to, duh.
@TheWindel *Steals more characters from animes I haven't watched*

Kiara is a quartet of characters that Windel has made, who are all technically different versions of the same person in a collective. It's complicated.
I think KoL said they were just using Microsoft Excel, or something like that.
Alexander Nevsky - Scandinavia

As it turned out, Nevsky was not strictly needed for this battle, thanks to the force that was brought to bear against the rising dead around them. He did not complain about it, nor did he hold it against the others for eliminating the threat in as rapid a manner as possible. So he did what he could, cutting down any of the dead who went too close to his master, and making sure that the rear was guarded should they be suddenly set upon from another direction. Glory was of no concern to him, not in such a state.

Eventually the fight ended, both their own as well as the large clash that had been going on up ahead. The warrior who remained from that stepped forward, thanking them for their aid before turning to face the next wave of approaching foes as he revealed his identity. It was one that Nevsky had some knowledge of, though perhaps not as perfect as he would have liked. Peaceful relations with the Norse were difficult.

To his Masters question, he was quick to answer. 'I believe that Siegfried was the one who tempted by his guardian before doing battle with the dragon Fafnir, with the assistance of their deity Odin. Though he succeeds, he is eventually killed later for his own misdeeds.' Or something like that. He had heard a couple different versions of the tale, with varying details.

The surprise of being confronted with one of the Saber class was matched with the rather sudden appearance of a poet, one who also served as a lure for the creatures even as he waxed on. It seemed that this Shakespeare was not one for a fight himself.

"Perhaps now is not the proper time for grand tales, is it poet," Nevsky pointed out to Shakespeare as he brandished his weapon at the oncoming foe. That was something more suited for a feast or a festival. The fights were where the stories were made after all, so would he not be better off observing?

Nonetheless they went to the fight, and Nevsky did not hesitate as he joined the others in combating their foes. It was a fight they all were involved in, and he moved quickly as he struck out. No magic flourishes, just the powerful moves of one who had fought in many a battle before. Once they dealt with this they could move on, and with the sort of threat these things had shown themselves to be so far, that wouldn't be long.

Masae Kanegawa

It was impossible for Masae to suppress a wince as she moved around the corner of the counter to see Aderyn pinned beneath a chain, with a protruding bump in her leg that was most definitely not supposed to be there. She could only imagine just how much pain her friend was in right now, yet she was so strong in not letting it show. That was just like her, she supposed.

Without hesitation Masae sped over, removing the chair so it could no longer pin her friend to the ground, doing her best to keep a rational mindset. Culpability could be addressed later, right now she needed to focus on what needed to be done now that she wasn't pinned down. "There we go," she muttered as she examined Aderyn's leg.

She hardly needed to be told that she should get her friend to the nurse's office, if not the hospital after that. What came after that took her off guard though, and her eyes widened as she lurched forward to try and stop the other girl from doing something that was completely stupid in her view. "Aderyn wai-" Before she could do anything she watched as Aderyn relaxed in that manner characteristic of those who had dove into the game.

"Gah!" Recoiling back, she couldn't help but yell at the ceiling as she vented her frustrations. "You stupid....idiot!" sh cared about Aderyn, sh really did, but her roommate was making it awfully hard when she did stuff like this. She should be worried about her own health right now, not some stupid game. There was the overpowering urge to unleash a string of curses in German, where she was fairly confident that she could vent without anyone understanding what she was actually saying, but she managed to restrain herself as she tried to calm down. Right, had to take care of Aderyn. She could chew her out later.

First, first she had to deal with the leg, that was it. Looking around the booth she scrambled to come up with some sort of cast or splint for er leg before trying to move her. She wasn't a total idiot after all. "Ah, there we go." It wasn't the prettiest, with part of a microphone stand and some cables that had been liberated from the nearby equipment closet, but it would do as she wound the tough material around the metal rods. See, even she knew a few things.

That just left the big problem, and with a sigh she looked down at Aderyn before reaching down to try and grab her in a fireman's carry. "How am I supposed to do this by myself," she lamented in annoyance. She didn't exactly spend all her time doing manual labor.

"Alright, here we go." With a deep breath she grunted and hauled Aderyn over her shoulder, almost losing hold in the process and barely managing to keep her from falling to the ground. It was better than dragging her all the way to the nurse's office though. "If you get a concussion or something from this, you only have yourself to blame," she muttered as she took a faltering step and began to move. Fingers crossed, now she just had to hope that her energy held out.

At the same time, she reached for her phone. "What's that number again?" After a few moments she dialed the paramedics, holding her phone to her ear as she carefully descended the stairs. "Hello, this is Masae Kanegawa, I'm a friend at student at Purple Crown Academy. My friend was assaulted by someone and I need an ambulance at the school please.....Yes, she's conscious, but her leg is injured. I've made a temporary splint for her, but I'm not sure if she has any other injuries.....Thank you."

With that done she slipped her phone and focused once again on walking. At least she could console herself with the thought of the stern talk they would have later. Right now though she let her anger fuel her steps forward onwards the nurses office
