Brief history:
A Venezuelan who emigrated into Japan three years before the release of Sword Art Online, Carlos is every bit the Latin American man one would expect. He's warm, friendly and very open about his feelings and intentions, something that's got him into trouble a couple times with the overly respectful and modest society that Japan is. The cultural shift doesn't deter him, though. He's happy to be where he is, even if that means being trapped inside a game such as SAO.

Sure, he was every bit as shocked as everyone else when the announcement took place in the Town Of Beginnings. He was distraught and nervous for a day. For a single day. Because unlike most of the other players, Carlos was an immigrant. He had already gone through a death game before--The game of finding a place to live, finding work and settling down in a foreign country with no friends or family to back him up. He had been broken and built up again, stronger than he had ever been back in Venezuela, and a simple game such as SAO had no chance to break him.

Even now, so much time after the day of his "imprisonment", his will remains strong, his face retains a smile and he continues to walk forward.

Brief Personality:
Carlos is an independent, self-sufficient man. He's warm, friendly, open and very charismatic to those who wish to have him around. He works hard and often reaps the benefits of such work. Carlos is an unambitious man, but that doesn't mean he has no goal in life. His goal in life is to keep moving forward, no matter the obstacle. It could be said that's the most important thing to him. Though he also believes Family and Friends are extremely important.

Weapon of Choice: One-Handed Straight Sword coupled Kite Shield (he swaps the Kite shield for a Tower Shield when he's going to fight a Boss.)

Skill set:
- Main Skills:
- Parry: The ability to use an attack to block an opposing strike. Maximum level makes it possible to destroy an item currently at less than half of the maximum durability; anything with a durability above that will not be damaged.
- Howl: Attracts the attention of NPC monsters and increases a player's Hate value. Often used by tanks to lure enemies to the player.
- Battle Healing: Recover low amounts of HP over time during battle. It can be leveled up by constantly getting one's HP into the red zone
- Heavy Metal Equipment: The effectiveness with which a player can use Heavy Metal Equipment.

- Secondary Skills:
- One Handed Straight Sword
- Extended Weight Limit: Increases inventory size and weight capacity.

Unique Skill:
Look Behind You!: A disengage ability he can use to make NPC enemies stop attacking for long enough to allow a party's escape from precarious situations. (Attention: only works on NPCs and very dumb players.)

Approach: Carlos is a pure Tank, often willingly putting himself in the way of danger to spare his party members the burden.

@Frettzo I like your character. I cant choose between his two skills, though the first one is pretty cool in my opinion. The second one seems more like a rare item drop rather than a unique skill, but that's just me. Whichever you pick, I accept him.

Astarte, Goddess of Magic and Summoning.

From behind Orabil, Astarte floated up and toward the three arguing Gods, stretching her limbs and fixing her disheveled hair. The crown upon her head nearly fell until she pushed it into balance with a hand. She was rather late on answering the call for Sauranath's judgement, but at least she arrived.

"Sauranath, right?" Astarte began, pointing at the Dragon God. A tired, goofy smile crept over her lips. "So it was you who set the greatest tree in Galbar on fire. I should've known!" She floated up to Sauranath, stopping just in front of him and petting his nose, "Some humans say that dragons calm down and may even befriend you if you pet their noses. Do you feel better now, Sauranath?"

She grinned for a moment, before pulling away from the dragon and toward the two other Gods and putting her hands behind her back, still looking at Sauranath. "See, this plant here is called Orabil, 'Nath. It lets light reach the world at day, vanquishing any Nightmare that came into existence the night before. If you destroy this tree, every creation, including your dragons, faces great danger." She shrugged.
