Not a fan of that huge deus ex machina, honestly. I can tolerate the High Gods healing and protecting the Astral home, but the rest I deem unnecessary and something they would never do. If they are so powerful, they should be way harder to convince.

One of them said they "liked ambition", well then, grant Ialu godhood and 100 levels already. And why would Fate and Invictus even agree to Escre's plan of eradicating all Gods? Makes no sense.

I don't agree with Escre being able to build so many holy sites with no cool down at all and his holy sites being super resistant against outside influence all of a sudden. He should work to obtain that power, as right now it just seems to be way too convenient to suddenly be granted such high power.

Does this mean Astarte can go tell the High Gods that all Gods are mad and ask them to make them more like her and they'll do it?

Summary

-Astarte leaves the discussion, taking Lizzy with her.

How rude and stuck up, Astarte thought of Sauranath. When she met him, she had expected him to behave entertainingly like his own creations. Instead, he was mad. Thinking all Dragons were his and therefore he had to 'protect' them? Nonsense! All he did was oppress them. He could learn a couple things from her, namely how to have fun and enjoy his time with others. Astarte huffed and raised her chin, undignified.

Then Vestec did something--He changed places with his avatar, and his avatar brought with him a mortal. A very... Unique mortal. She could feel the immense power in his soul, and his mere aura made her forget all about Sauranath. "Oh, Escre's little toy, huh?"

It wasn't long until Escre spoke to everyone, and Astarte simply sighed. "What's so wrong with Vestec corrupting everything? You're so self-righteous that you prefer to destroy all life in this planet before seeing it enjoy outside influence? Pathetic."

"My offer still stands. Come to Mt. Vulcan for a symbol of power if you want one." Ferghus repeated and left.

Astarte took off her crown and held it in her hands in front of her. She examined it and grinned. "Well, I don't have any more time to spend here with you, Lord of the Lizards." Astarte said as she flew over to Lizzy, straddled his neck and with a snap of her fingers, she healed his wings.

Then they disappeared in a whirlwind of dirt.

Now Astarte has better access to souls, should she ever want another one! xD Though it's no fun to take them like that. It's way more fun to take them from the living.

Edit: Who knew anger can make one as strong as a God.

Nah, I think everyone can become a DemiGod and therefore a God if they are smart, strong and influential enough to convince at least one God to lend them some of their essence.

Gameplay wise, though, I doubt many NPCs will ascend to Demigodhood or Godhood.
