"A woman? She's a girl godsake!" Omega said as he had exited into the hallway. "I could call you the same." He had said lastly. He went into his room and shut the door behind him. Today was meant to be good. Hit the mall, maybe beat up some baddies, but drama that I have never had to deal had to come rolling my way. Is this how it is to work under women? Definitely not voting for Hillary.

He laid on his bed, facing the ceiling as he shut his eyes. He started using his power to feel the things within his room. He couldn't tell if he was getting better at spreading his influence, but he was definitely getting better at identifying what was what.

He cleaned and reorganized his room from his bed which took twice a long if he were to do it with his hands. He was nearly done when he felt something intruding in his room. A paper... Probably my resignation. It's about damn time. Maybe I can get hired by that Enchantress I keeput hearing about... Nah, that's just another woman to work beneath. He thought as he sat up and walked over to the letter that was placed from underneath his door. The letter floated up until the words faced his face. He squinted at it, not because he couldn't read it, but because he couldn't believe that this letter was real. He skimmed through, before looking back at the header. Omega glared as it crumpled. He then caused the letter to fly into the trash bin in his room.

His anger didn't stem from the contents of the note, but the existence of it. In his eyes, Jessica was ready to open up, and now who knows if she might ever dare to do it again, due to today's outcome.

Omega'said anger faded as he felt a bit of guilt, but at the same time he empathized with her. With a sigh, left his room silently and floated down the hall to the elevator. As he entered, he landed on the floor of it. As the door shut he leaned against the wall. All he could was remember.

His memory sent him back to his early days with a practically dead organization known as Output. He and Sigma stood side by side in a training room. He was young, only about fourteen, and Sigma was younger. The two were practicing how to defend themselves from incoming projectiles. Omega had used his TK to counter the projectiles, while Sigma teleported to dodge. The projectiles kept being fired faster and faster till Sigma was hit when teleporting into the path of a projectile. A second went to hit her and Omega shouted towards her...

The memory faded from his mind as the elevator doors opened. Omega entered the gym and headed towards the simulator room. When the doors shut behind him, he smirked darkly. He had too much steam to blow, and taking it out on a real person or place wasn't such a bad idea. He was grateful for the simulator, as he could go all out without worrying about much. Once he was done, he would have to have a talk with someone.

"Level 1." The simulator announced as Omega watched the scenery changed into a dark and fiery version of San Fransisco. Burnt bodies scattered across the ground as red haired woman float above them. He back was turned, but anyone with sense could tell who it was.

"Wicked Flame's. Let's hope this simulator does you some justice, because I'm not gonna hold any punches." Omega said coldly as he flew foward with immense force.

Omega continued to glare as Tia spoke to him. He could tell she felt he had some involvement in Shiver's disappearance, and that pissed him off more than anything else she had said. The room rattled as he continued to glare at her. He couldn't even utter a sound to respond at first. Fortunately he kept cool.

"What does Drifter have to do with Shiver? You accusing her too? You think me and Drifter took Shiver and put her in the desert for the Enchantress to take?" He asked as he walked in front of Tia to look her dead in the eyes. Everything in the room went still again. "What do you think I did Tia? You think I hurt her before I handed over to the Enchantress? You think I put on a pretty good act when I went searching for her?! Tell me... Or keep your accusations to yourself." Omega said as he walked around Tia and towards the door. "Have fun with Sigma." He said sarcastically.
@Wick

Did Tia mean to say disappeared?

"Good choice. And you're right, I don't like you, and it's not meant to be a secret. It's obvious. You want to know what I was doing? I was doing your job FOR YOU! From day one I didn't see you as a real leader and you still aren't in my eyes. Wicked was a better leader and she was batshit crazy... too bad she's dead." Omega said as he threw the darkest of shade at Tia.

Omega leaned on Tia's desk and crossed his arms as he then looked at Sigma.

"I knew her growing up. Her name is Sylvia... We worked together since we were basically kids. After we parted ways... let's just say we kept it that way till today when I found out she had an invitation to our little team. Maybe she's lying, or better yet, maybe you're not tracking who's on your team and who isn't! That would make more sense. You weren't here to issue her a room, so I did it for you oh great leader. If I wanted something from you, I'd take it myself and I wouldn't need you to be gone to do it." Omega taunted. His words were like venom as he challenged her authority while looking her in the eyes. "Enchantress is going to use Shiver for trade by the way, either that or she wants to use her. If she wanted her dead, we'd know." Omega finished.

"Damn it that bitch!" Omega let out as he looked at Sigma for a while before looking at Tia. "I figured I could get your new recruit situated before you got back. Who knew when you'd show up... as for the other questions. Her name is Sigma and you're making a mistake recruiting her to the team. And if you don't know who she is, then it was Shiver who picked her. And yeah, I know about the little handpicking thing you three ladies did for the team. Now let me go, and I'll explain how I know her. If you don't then I will get out myself. And you won't like how I'll do it." Omega said with a glare. He was more observant than he led on. Being raised into a tattered weapon left him with opportunity as his best friend in stressful situations. "Are you deaf? Let me free already." Omega demanded.

"Boytoy?! Ew! Never in my life! I was here looking for you, and this idiot tried tricking me into breaking into your room. I was just about to lock him up myself... but then you showed up, which is just as good." She turned her head to look at Omega and smiled. "Dumbass." Simma said. "Can you please free me and give me a proper orientation and a room as far away from this idiot as possible or just keep him like that. And don't ever touch my face again. You could lose a finger." Sigma loved that Omega was fully frozen. She could insult him all day. "I wonder if I could still teleport in this predicament... hm?"
I see where you may have thought that. so I took some pronouns out to make it sound how it's meant to. He was saying that the squints' endgame would be a high quality weapon.@RumikoOhara
No, that's not how I meant it lol. He meant it like this. Mike and Sylvia are like two pieces of equipment that have been worked on to be just good enough, while Jessica is still continuously being tested until she reaches perfection. @RumikoOhara

"Damn! You see that?" Sigma exclaimed as she watched Jessica fly off. "She's a beast."

"Yeah, that's Drifter. She's a bit different from the rest of us, but she's honestly the only person I seem to consistently get along with." Omega admitted.

"Just friends?" Sigma asked. She looked closely at him as he answered.

"Yeah, like a little sister." He said with a smirk. "She is pretty much used like an experimental weapon in progress. Kind of like we were, except our keepers weren't looking for high quality weapons, just something that was enough to get the job done." Omega said solemnly.

"The past is the past. You wouldn't be where you are without Output. Now where can I found the leader of this team?" Sigma asked. Omega chuckled.

"You're looking at him. Let me get you your room key." Omega lied as he floated down to the base of the HQ. As the two arrived in front of Tia's door, he leaned on it to cover up her name. "You still good at your teleportation?" Omega teased.

"Of course."

"I bet you can't get into this room. You've never even been... inside." Omega's eyes shot open as he and Sigma were inside Tia's room. He saw one of the fax machines going off, but ignored it to go grab a room key for Sigma.

"This is definitely not your office. There's a two piece hanging in the closet, make up kit over near the mirror, and the door says 'Tia'. You think I'm stupid? Now I get to tell her how the 'leader' of the team, broke into her room."

"Like it will matter. She's off in the desert looking for someone she won't find. Fool." Omega said.

Omega focused on feeling every inch of the HQ on the landing pad, waiting to feel someone or something that didn't belong.

"Boo!" A female voice shouted behind him in an instant. Her appearing so instantaneous caused him jump forward and turn around. His hand reached out to blast the intruder with TK, but she blocked his attack with a blue transparent wall. Her chuckle made Omega scowl as he knew who it was.

"Sylv-" Omega started to say but was cut off.

"Sigma! That's my name." Sigma said with a frown. She didn't favor her birth name. It was something she felt she disposed of long ago. "So what are you doing here? Spying for the enemy?" Sigma said this as she surrounded Omega in a cube. "I can't have that with my new team." She added. Omega just scowled before his eyes widened from Sigma giving him a revelation.

"No... You can't be. They picked you!?" Omega shouted loudly in shock. "You're worse than me, and I was told I was barely recommended! I had to sign a stupid contract stating that I couldn't kill people and that I could live my life, as long as I remained on the team! But guess what... The rules of the team, is that I have to live here, so the only thing that I was promised was money that I'm going to spend on what? They have a free store upstairs! Free food! Free living space! And now you're here! Who picked you for the team? Wicked didn't want me so she didn't want you either, so either Tia or Shiver." Omega ranted

"Are you done? Shut up and calm down. I have a stupid contract too, and and bad as it is, it's better than being without work." Sigma released Omega and sat on the edge of the roof. "Be grateful for once."
