Josh smiled as he clearly took her by surprise with his words. "Since we left the hospital and then I saw how good you were with everyone, especially Trish" he told her truthfully, knowing that that day he was taken aback by her courage and bravery that it just made him feel drawn to her. That feeling had only grown and it seemed all this time Trish knew it judging by her little quips she had made.

Chas sighed, "it's for John to tell her if he ever feels it's needed to be told. But if he doesn't then I'll look into telling her myself" he told Trish. He felt bad enough that he had told a kid without John's permission, he didn't want to go behind his mate's back and tell the woman he loved behind his back as well.

At John's promise to stop her if she ever lost control, Kay nodded and exhaled a breath she didn't know she had been holding in for the last few seconds. "Thank you" she told him, letting go of his hands and hugging him tightly. She knew it had to be difficult for someone to agree to such a request but the other scenario was even less appealing in her mind.

Josh smiled and chuckled sheepishly, "I guess you bring it out of me" he told her, tucking some of her hair behind her ear as he looked at her in the eyes. "I guess sometimes being spontaneous can do us all good" he added, "and if I'm honest? I've always wanted to kiss you" he admitted to her.

Chas nodded, "He's very touchy about the story which is understandable but yes, that's why he's always been super careful before Kay came into his life with who he slept with. He never before wanted the ties to people, then Kay came into his life and things changed it seems. But he's never truly gotten passed that trauma of being called a killer all his childhood, even when he got closure. But I'm hoping that now Kay and Serena are in his life, maybe he'll get to move on finally" he said to her.

Kay sighed when John replied to her, avoiding her plea which somehow didn't fully surprise her. "But if it does...if anything makes me snap...I mean it John, I need you to kill me to stop me" she told him, gripping his hands tighter.
Josh smiled into the kiss as she pulled him back with her so she could lean on the tree trunk. He leaned onto her slightly, placing his hands flat against the trunk as he kissed her more, deepening the kiss but remaining sweet with her. He was brought up to be a gentleman, not an animal.

Chas paused what he was doing and sighed when Trish asked about John's parents. "John's mum died giving birth to him. His twin also died in the womb and only he survived. His father took great hatred toward John for that and although he raised him, poorly I may add, he called John killer his whole life." Chas explained in a way that the most child friendly he could think of. He purposely left out how John killed his father by burning the house down however.

" it's not just the prospect of our kid though John...its everything else as well. I'm terrified I'm gonna become a monster" she told him, keeping hold of his hands. "more terrified than I can put into words. John please don't let me get that far gone... I'd rather be killed than turn into some kind of monster and hurt people" she told him, her eyes practically begging him to kill her if it came to it without her even saying the words.
Josh smiled as his comment made Serena chuckle, he listened to her and nodded in agreement "mm, those mundane things always seem to mean so much to people" he commented, before grinning mischievously and eith her hand in his he jogged over to a tree pulling her with him. He felt like a kid again and he wanted to bring a bit of positive spark to Serena also, so when they reached a big fern tree he swung her round to face him, pushed some of her hair behind her ear and with his thumb and index finger, he pulled gently her face to his and kissed her.

Chas put the dirty plate and glass in the sink and he wished he could say for certain if Kay and John would be okay but he had faith that they would be. "they will be, if they let both their walls down and let each other in." he told her. "or so I hope" he muttered.

The whole time she spoke, Kay refused to look at him as she knew if she did, she wouldn't have been able to finish what she had to say. It was only when she felt him look at her, did she look up slightly and look at him back, she didn't know what else to say, her mind being a jumbled up mess of words struggling to form any kind of sentence. "I'm scared John..." was all she could get out.
Josh smiled and then laughed as Serena said what she reckoned Kay and John would say if they were out here. "I get the feeling they'd be more about actually making out under a tree than just mentioning it" he laughed as he took in the area where the mill house sat properly. It was a lovely hidden away area, that much he did have to admit to.

"good idea kiddo" Chas replied, grabbing the empty bits from Trish's breakfast and Kay's that had since gone cold and stale from everything, and brought it into the kitchen with Trish.

Kay saw how John was refusing to look up at her, no doubt thinking the worst was about to be said which made her feel guilty for how she just reacted a short while ago. She waited for Chas and Trish to exit the room then walked to where John was and sat beside him. "I'm not leaving..." she started with the big reassurance. She stared at her lap as if it would help her get her words out, "I just can't wrap my head around it all that's all. The kid thing? That's a shock yeah, but nowhere near as sho King as what Serena told us... I'm still learning to accept the fact I love someone that's not family. Let alone having to think about our future together and if kids would even be a thing for us.

I... I'm just terrified by the prospect of bringing a child into this world and putting them in danger constantly, even if this person was capable of saving you yesterday. The idea that we may in the future would have said or done something that meant they felt the need to have to set things right? It scares me John. It scares me to think about how wrong we must have gone or how bad it must be in her world that she had to come back to ours. But the idea of losing you even before we get that far in our relationship or I end up pregnant with your kid scares me even more. I'm terrified that I'll snap and I won't just lose you and the oppoeto have a family with you, but also that I'll lose myself and give Hell and all its demons a world on earth they're wanting to use me for." she sighed.

"I don't want to become this raging monster and be seen as nothing but that... Fee told me my kind can be known for turning dark if their negative emotions overpower them and I know if I lose you I will be that monster. I don't want to be alone John... I can't lose you or our chance to be a family" she said, beginning to choke on her words as she tried to not cry all over again, grabbing for his hands and wrapping them in her own hands. Feeling the roughness of his skin in the smoothness of her own. "I need you John" she said shakily again.
Josh followed her out, feeling lucky they were both still in their clothing from the day before or he would have pulled Serena back inside. "right, you sure you're strong enough for this?" he asked her, slightly jogging to walk beside her and without even thinking about it, he reached his hand out and took hers into his.

Chas sighed and watched his mate falling into that dangerous moment where he could mentally dip back down into that hole of self pitying. "don't think like that just yet. You don't know what her reasons were for walking away just now. Other than she needed to just be alone for a moment. When she comes back, I think you two need to have a chat alone without any of the rest of us around." he told him.

Kay stood up and sighed, trying to gain that mental strength to go show her face to John and the others again, not knowing that Josh and Serena had left. "you can do this Kay, it's just John." she told herself, taking a few deep breaths to try and steady herself before she stepped forward and opened the door. "you're not gonna ruun away now.. Not this time Kay. You're gonna face this head on with him" she told herself under her breath, then walked out the room and down the hall to the main room area where the others were.

"Chas, Trish? Mind leaving me alone with John so we can talk?" she requested. Her voice ringing out and making Chas look up and behind him, "sure" he replied, gesturing for Trish to follow him.
As Serena smiled at him, Josh smiled at her back, he went to reply to her when Trish said what she did making him playfully glare at her and ruffle her hair. "ya cheeky little squirt!" he teased, before looking at Serena again, "but to answer your question, yeah lets go" he told her.

Chas walked back to John as he then heard what he muttered. "John listen to me, you are worthy of being a father. You thinking otherwise is down to your own father's behaviour toward you and A-well, other things. But you've proved you're worthy of it by being a great godfather to Geraldine and stuff. Not to mention, Kay is probably thinking the exact same thing about herself. The way she reacted? That's not of someone who thinks they're worthy of being a mother. That's someone absolutely shit scared of being a parent" he told him.

Kay opened her eyes when she finished her conversation with Fee and sighed, running both hands through her hair. "Fuck..." she cursed to herself, before getting up off the floor and sighing. She had to go see John and talk calmly with him.
Chas listened to her idea and nodded, "this place is near a ley line, to the west about five minute walk away" he explained, gesturing for her to follow him to where the maps were and when she was by him he showed her where he meant. "If anything happens you let us know straight away okay?" he told her, not wanting anything to happen to Serena or Josh either, but knew he would have to stay back with Kay and John and Trish.

"I'm terrified Fee...I may have a group of friends properly for the first ever time but I'm known to run off when things get too tough. What if I can't stop myself from going dark as you put it? What if I completely let John and the others down?" she asked Fee, "Kay Hale, you listen to me. It's your need for those people that will keep you in this place. You would feel tremendous guilt if you left John high and dry. Now go back to the main world and go apologise to John. He's shocked from the news of gaining a child as well" Fee told her back like a scolding mother. "i'm not ready to yet...but I will" Kay replied.
NATALIA WINCHESTER

Seeing Cason stifling his giggles from her reaction just made Natalia glare all the more at him. His response didn't help her in the slightest either as there was nothing wrong with her spatial awareness in her mind and she had every right to react the way she did when she wasn't expecting someone to be hiding in the corner of her room likesome movie villain or something. "My room my rules, no one comes in here without my permission. That goes for any situation, any hunt any location- got it?" she responded, pointing her finger at him firmly to carry her point all the more. There was a reason she considered her motel rooms her sacred private safe place, and she didn't appreciate having Cason break that rule she had in place, even for her brothers. To her, it didn't matter that Cason wouldn't have strictly known about the rule, it was common courtesy to knock before entering someone's room.

She rolled her eyes when he continued to reply to her by saying her assumption on him was rude, but the moment he described Duke she paused in her spot and smirked as she had turned to lay out her clothes and then get dressed. "Didn't think I'd see Duke making an appearance again, oh yeah you definitely got competition with that one." she remarked, deciding to leave her comments at that. She was hyper aware of him taking glances at her back, but unlike Mika who could still be very cagey about who saw her back, she didn't care too much. Infact, when it came to Cason she would gladly point out it was his kind that inflicted those scars onto her.

By the time she reached the point where Cason thought it was perfectly acceptable to sneak up behind her and bring a glass of whiskey to her vision whilst whispering flirtatiously in her ear, she paused what she was doing and looked down at the glass. The brushing away of some of her hair with his nose, she could feel him smiling against her neck and ear as he kept tempting her with the whiskey. "This isn't a game Cason, I need to be focused on the hunt...Dean would also kill me if he smells alcohol on my breath" she pointed out, desperately not wanting to cave into the temptation of drinking the alcohol.

She even refused to turn her head to look at him initially as she did not want to be the next woman that fell for his antics. She still didn't fully believe he was fully under Cupid's influence when he slept with Mika. Her eyes however kept glancing down to the glass in Cason's hands and groaned. "..fine! But I ain't your damn date!" she told him, taking the glass from his hand and downing the drink in one swig, closing her eyes as she let the liquid flow down her throat and hit her. She then put the glass in his hand and only then did she look at him in the eyes.

"I swear...if you get up to anything dodgy tonight I'll set Dean on you" she warned him, prodding her index finger into his chest, causing her to be what would be uncomfortably close to him in any other situation. It was what could deemed a childish threat, but in this case they both knew Dean would love nothing more than to kill him for the littlest thing, so she figured it would have some weight to it this time.

MIKA CHAMBERS

Mika was used to the times when she would just get changed faster than Dean, but then she also knew there were plenty of times he would be ready way before her, so she considered it even. She listened to him as he gave his answer to her question, the idea of the Angels just wiping out a town still didn't sit well with her in the slightest. There were so many innocent people in this place and so many young children, who would all be punished unjustifiably. It wasn't very angelic in her eyes to destroy a place if they failed and seemed very over the top.

As she perched on the edge of the bed to tie up her combat boots, she continued to hear him out and could hear the underlying tone in his voice that told her he wasn't joking when he said he would make Angel pay for acting out if they failed. She knew him inside out and knew what he was saying meant so much more than what he verbally said. "I promise Dean" she began saying as she stood up, looking at him.

"I won't stray far from you, do anything reckless and keep an eye on him for the sake of the girls. I know Nat will be able to keep him at bay to a certain extent but I'd rather he wasn't allowed an inch of a room to get any closer to them than strictly professionally possible." she finished saying to him, stepping closer to him and sliding her hands over his shoulders and to the back of his head.

"we've lost each other enough times now, I'm not prepared for us to lose each other again" she said to him honestly, just hoping that no matter what he was right in that they would come out of this situation. She had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach about this case but she didn't want to verbalise it....not yet anyway. She hated feeling so defeated at the beginning of a hunt but she always trusted her gut so she wasn't going to stop trusting it now.

SAM WINCHESTER

He knew that he didn't have to repeat Dean's paranoid request but he couldn't help it. He was worried for Annabeth being away from him and Dean where he couldn't protect her even if he did trust Natalia being perfectly capable of doing it for him. Seeing and hearing Annabeth repeat her reassurances to him made him nod and sigh with relief. "I know you're capable of looking after yourself and you got Nat in your corner so to speak but...I guess I'm just worried. Last time we separated stuff happened to you and I don't want that to happen again" he admitted to her.

Her smile did help to assure him that she would be alright and he couldn't help but smile back at her. "I'll trust him when he proves himself worthy of earning it. I may not be as pissed at him for what he did to Mika as Dean is, but it still feels like he took advantage of family ya know?" he told her back.

With his words said, he changed out of his suit and laid it out neatly on the bed before changing into his usual jeans and flannel shirt, then pulled on his boots. Dressed within a few minutes, he grabbed his hunting bag and checked his guns over, making sure everything was in check. "Changing the subject though, you look lovely in that outfit" he smiled.
Chas shrugged at Serena's question, not fully knowing what as the heat course of action to take. "I'm not entirely sure but is it going to face whatever this is head on when we don't know all the information such a good idea? I mean, John can't really move right now until he's properly healed up" he replied, giving his own counter and opinion. "but we can't all stay cooped up in here either or we'll get cabin fever. But we all know going in with only vague information isn't going make us win this one." he added as he thought out loud.

"is there any kind of spell or action you can do Serena to track who sent the warning? Or where it came from?" Josh asked, trying to be of some kind of help in the situation.

Kay let the environment of the magical room just calm her as much as possible. She remained silent for a good few minutes before she decided to tap into her soul and discuss everything through with Fee. "Fee I need your help... Is what they're saying truly possible?" she asked. "it's entirely possible, but I cannot say I'm very adversed in the whole topics of time travel." Fee replied as they spoke in Kay's mind. On the outside to anyone else, it would merely look like Kay was just meditating silently, but inside her head it looked like two brings talking with each other.

"it's not just that Fee.. Is it really possible I'll go that evil if something happens to John?" "if you do not find full control when your negative emotions take hold then yes. A fire that's not just myself burns deep within you Kay. Phoenixes are known for having their emotional state take control over them. You wouldn't be the first to turn dark if it happened, but others didn't have a group like you do."
