Right so the RP is underway, you can now begin posting your intros! The four recruits Lily, Jaime, Lee and Krauss are in the townhouse and the other 3 are making their way to the townhouse (seperately) once everyone has posted we can start on the weapon loadout.

Trip to the Town House

Tim Taggart and Mack Yancy had now left the Red Raven bar and were in the car on the way to Taggart & Hobbes townhouse. Mack was still out of it but was able to read the dossiers somewhat coherently on the drive, Neo-Bay's lights were drenching the street in a purple hue, it was somewhat relaxing. Mack still had a lot of questions and he was half sober enough to start asking them.

Counclima...er Tim, where exactly did you find these people? This is some high level operative stuff, way above my pay grade even when I was working...

Tim smiled as he shifted gears and the car began to enter on to a freeway.

Once you save up large sums of money, good employees seem to find you. They were interested in the salary and the cause, I did have to a little bit of scouting, but only because I needed to be sure of who I was working with...do you think you could work with them?
Mack Yancy got annoyed, he felt like this was all being sprung on him, dragged into something he never signed up for.

Work with? I'm retired Tim. You think you could've given me notice before springing me out of the Red Raven to meet some random hired goons? You know how I feel about the freakin private security sector, why spend all that money, and bring me out here for nothing?

Tim, checked his GPS and sighed, they were almost at the townhouse and Mack didn't seem too convinced. He decided to come clean and began to explain the purpose of the new squad.

Combat Operate Private Service, Its not a firm, or a cartel, or a security branch. It's something new, something you could get on board with, Lieutenant Yancy. It abbreviates to C.O.P.S. which should give you a clue to what its about, after Hobbes moved in he had the idea that people miss the police force, but we cant bring it back, so we wanted to try a different version, a hard and effective squad to clean up the city without any of the red tape of the police commissioner or congress. We don't need to be anarchists to make a radical change. But we do need the most decorated and focused police officer who wasnt bought out by a private company, you're the only one who still wants to do the right thing, and once upon a time, before all this booze, you were extremely good at your job, we need you Mack Yancy.

Tim's words seemed to hit Mack like a shot of detox, this was crazy, a private service for the greater good? no red tape? A handpicked team? Seemed almost too ideal to be true, but Mack knew Tim Taggart was the type to pull off something this crazy and make it real. Mack burped loudly and grumbled a little under his breath as he began to flick through the dossiers.

hm....apart from this..Lily Martin these people dont have any police experience, they just seem to be mercenaries, you say they are in it for the cause? I only know a few people personally who would be willing to do such a radical job, no matter what the pay?

Tim Taggart was now back in his full on comfortable smile as he took a left into the residential district of Neo-Bay.

They may not all be cops, but they've all suffered because of this broken lawless system we find ourselves in, I can vouch for every one of them, Lily, Krauss, Lee and Jaime are the best of the best out of what I found. But this isnt a team of five, you mentioned you know a few people who be willing to do such a radical job? Well I know who all three of them are, and they are on their way to the townhouse, you're in for a surprise Mack.

Mack grabbed his head as it started to ache, what had he got himself into?

HOBBES AND TAGGART'S TOWN HOUSE 11:10PM

Craig Hobbes

Craig Hobbes had just returned from the kitchen, he had ice water with him, and the 4 recruits had just arrived, sitting and making themselves comfortable in the somewhat messy townhouse/apartment. Lily, Lee, Jamie and Krauss had not spoken yet but were just finding places to sit. Craig looked at the four and chuckled as he served them the ice water. He spoke with an unfiltered British accent that had a curious tone.

I'm not sure how long they'll be now, but I've been given word that 3 more are on their way here too, apparently they have all met the 'famous' Mack Yancy in one way or another, should lead to an interesting dynamic. By the way, as you can see this place is a mess, I would say its because we want to keep a low profile but its more because Tim never cleans after coming home from work, and I'm nobodies housemaid. Feel free to chit-chat while we wait for Tim and Mack.

Craig Hobbes walked upstairs to feed his goldfish, humming the tune to his own theme song on the way.

Irene

Name: '???'
Age: 23
Description: A very mysterious young woman said to be the sole daughter of a feared Yakuza Boss. Her real name is not known and goes by 'Irene' which is rumored to be the name of the first person she killed as a constant reminder. She is cold, focused and unorthodox. She seems to only speak when it concerns training or competetion and doesn't seem to have many friends. He fighting style is the 'Draw Style' of katanna, often fighting with her bare hands and the scabbard as well as the blade itself.

Kei The Wicked

Name: Kei Kawashima
Age: 19
Description: Much like your village, hers was a poor one that constantly got attacked, but not only by bandits but by warlords who wanted to use it as an outpost town for their never ending feuds. One day a powerful but paranoid warlord accused the village of harboring spies from a rival camp. To take no chances he burned the village to the ground, and junior guard Kei was the sole survivor, narrowly escaping the fires and enemy soldiers.

Because of her miracle escape from the fire she wears an oni mask and considers herself protected by a fire demon, calling herself 'Kei The Wicked' she is hot blooded and energetic, swearing revenge for her village. But also a young woman of justice and honor. Just dont get on the wrong end of her Naginata!

Ms Tenborou

Name: Shina Tenborou
Age: 29
Description: Shina is a graduated member of the Shine Province Dojo. Her original plans were to join the army as part of a special elite fighting unit, but her love for the Dojo made her stay on as a lead instructor. She is strict but fair, and truly cares for all of the students. Although she maintains a calm demeanor, her competitive spirit is still very much alive and will occasionally get in the way of her teaching. She is a master in a range of different weapon styles.

Saint Christa

Name: Christa St Elsworth
Age: 22
Description: Christa is a foreign exchange student, the daughter of a noble family in a distant western land. In her own country, women are not seen as potential warriors and training is discouraged. But from the love of her uncle who is a respected general, she was sent to the Shine Province to tap into her true potential.

She still has a bit of a chip on her shoulder, and feels she needs to prove herself a lot. She is also a bit of a fish out of water, a proud lady of the manor in a completely new country and culture, so at times she can come across a little standoffish and snooty. She is a master with the longsword.

The Kunoichi of The Lake

Name: Umi Kazama
Age: 26
Description: Umi is famous in this area, she is said to hail from the 'Clear Water Ninja Clan' secluded in the mountains of the Shine Province. The clan is wrapped in mystery but tales of their heroic rescues and righteous battles spread far throughout the entire country. When a member of the clan was sent to the shine province dojo to train and showcase her skills the excitement was through the roof. Umi feels the pressure of the reputation of her clan, constantly being asked for romantic tales of rescue and adventure. She maintains a very proud demeanor, but a wise eye can tell she might find the reputation bestowed on her to be fairly overwhelming.

She is a master of the Katanna and Tanto blade, as well as various ninjitsu arts.

Name: Gerry 'Mako' Mak
Age: 21
Description: A young man from one of the worst parts of the city, his only possession of any value is his chopper. He lives day to day on the prize money from racing, and has a lot of contempt for the 'rich kids' who take up racing as a hobby. For him it's a serious way of life. Gerry is also very aware of you and your achievements but holds you in contempt because you left the life for so long. His mood seems to be always sour, but he's an absolute demon on the bike.

The Throwback Rival

Name: Mike Zero
Age: 27
Description: Mike grew up on Early 2000s racing simulators, his favorite games were the 'Colin McCrae Rally' series. He is one of the few street racers who is able to balance a 'normal' life with his hobby. He works as a salary-man in the Torque City Financial district and actually enjoys his job. He is almost the anthesis to you, someone who never let his passion become his obsession, he is a skilled driver, but fairly aloof and relaxed about the whole scene.
He loves to drive throwback rally cars.

The Blacktop Devil

Name: Lucian Graves
Age: 25
Description: Lucian got into racing pretty late, he grew up very competitive, but in more 'upper class' sports such as chess and fencing. A near death experience which almost saw him run over by a supercar in a drift race gave him a morbid fascination with the vehicles. And now he uses his family money to buy the best exotic machines on the market. He's not bad behind the wheel either. He is arrogant and daring. And he doesn't take your legend very seriously. Mainly drives exotic cars, his magnum opus being the 'Grave Devil Custom'

The Goofy Gearhead

Name: Cameron Cox
Age: 20
Description: 'Camshaft' Cameron Cox seemed destined to fail at everything, he did badly in school, he seemed too physically awkward for sports and seem to have a hard time taking interest in anything for longer than a week. It was only when he spent a weekend in his granfather's garage at age 16 did he realise that engines were his true calling. By the time he was 18 he was one of the best mechanics on the undergound circuit. But his general awkwardness transfers to his actual driving skills. He is inspired by the drivers and the cars that he works on, but he isnt very good at driving himself. Shy, Helpful and awestruck at your racing legend!

Description: A Young Yakuza who lives for thrills. Although he loves streetfighting and intimidation, the excitement (and money) from street racing is matched by nothing else in his life. The criminal life is all Kenji knows. And even though he takes racing seriously, he is still a cold, cruel and merciless opponent, on and off the track. He looks for skilled racers to give him an even bigger then the last, hating easy races and opponents. When he heard of you living in this city, his hope he might be truly pushed to the 'ultimate limit' resurfaced.
