@TaroAndSelia

Name: Yamada Hiroko (山田 裕子), commonly called “Iinchou” (Class Rep)
Age: 16
Time in Shibuya: 15 Months
Nationality: Japan
Personality: Quiet; bookish; compassionate; helpful.
Hobbies & Interests: Reading. Especially (as one might guess of anyone in the Shibuya area) folklore and legends. She has a special love for European myths, too; her favorite tale is that of Robin Hood.
Bio: There were born to a family two brothers. One brother chose a life of excitement: he traveled to America and married a woman there; together they toured Europe for his work, only occasionally returning to his homeland in Japan. The second brother chose a life of duty: he attended university to become a salaryman, married a woman he met there, and began raising an honorable family. First came his daughter, Yamada Hanako; then came his son, Yamada Tarou. What was his surprise when a third child, a second daughter, was born to him! Thus he named her Hiroko, the child of abundance.
Well, her upbringing was as plain as her father’s life. Her mother remained a housewife and cared for the children; Father worked diligently to provide for his family; the siblings all looked after each other. It seemed a small world, growing ever smaller as Hiroko aged. Then her world opened wide when she discovered literature. Before she was even in school proper Hiroko had begun reading, learning with help from her nee-chan.
Aunt Julie (the American woman her uncle had married), on those rare occasions they were visiting, would share some of her favorite books with Hiroko, too. The small girl learned English to read them and share those treasures with her aunt. As she learned the language, Hiroko grew an interest in the country it originated from—England—and slowly searched out more and more of the stories from there. King Arthur and Sir Lancelot; Robin Hood; Ivanhoe; Beowolf—Hiroko loves the gallant knights of medieval Europe.
Now into her second year of high school in Shibuya, Hiroko’s interest in legends has been stretched to include many of the local tales as well. She doesn’t let it distract her from her schoolwork, of course; she keeps top marks and was chosen as the class representative once again this year.

Ranking: F

Name: Bastion The Brave
Flavor Text: A hot blooded young man who joined the order of knights at age 11, he wanted to bring honor to his kingdom so badly he would often break ranks to charge into battle to engage the enemy, and pick fights with criminals and local rogues even when off duty. This became a huge issue when a rival kingdom sent a mercenary war party to hunt him down and when they couldn't find him, they started to attack civilian settlements. This angered the kingdom and full of shame Bastion attacked the mercenary band in open combat, 45 men to 1, he expected to die to atone for his mistakes. Instead his battlemage abilities kicked in as he charged them, and he wiped them out using powerful arcane magic. Looking for a way to truly redeem himself, he set out on his own, and was never seen in his kingdom again.
