I guess my comfort zone is "eccentric side character."

The shrill ringing of the bell did nothing to mollify Rex's bad mood as he skulked down the hall toward his locker, the students that were here by choice parting around him like leaves around a stick that has so rudely been stuck in the middle of a stream.

The said thing, and I mean the really raw deal in this whole situation, is that he'd wanted to be here. He'd been unnaturally strong even before all the museum horseshit, strong enough at least to rip a thigh bone off a display to try braining a guy with it. It wasn't much, but he thought that might have been enough.

He looked around ruefully at the ornate halls, hall's that he would have done anything to once walk. It was amazing how quickly the shine came off something once you were being forced into it.

He felt a wet, quick, hot breath on the back of his brain and stopped in the middle of the hall. The snort had been meant to urge him on. Get this over with. Improve himself so he might move on to the real work. He clapped his hand on the back of his head, an impotent gesture, and scowled. "We got enough time. Quit hounding me. Big stupid lizard, didn't even have school trying to tell me how to..."

He continued down the hall, muttering to himself.
You could fight Ryu.

You could spawn a chain of yourself really fast to hit someone.
Name: Rex Tyran
Age: 15

Power: Rex is a conduit for the power of the dinosaurs. As such he has enhanced physical parameters and the ability to conjure dinosaurs.

Bio: Rex was screwing around on a field trip to the museum when he accidentally knocked over and destroyed a T-rex skeleton, the falling debris knocking him in the head and sending him into a short coma.

In his dreams the Dinosaurs came to him and told him that, because of his flagrant disrespect and act of vandalism, he would be forced to be their representative in the current age, protect Dinosaur remains from those who'd seek to harm them, eighth wrongs committed against them, or be haunted by Dinosaur ghosts forever in this dream. He told them to go screw themselves, but after a few blood soaked nights in a Cretaceous jungle he came around to their way of thinking and was allowed to wake up.

The police surprisingly bought this story, especially considering the apparent new superpowers he'd gained while asleep, and deciding that dinosaur ghosts were way above their pay grade they remanded him into the custody of Oakport High to get him started on the punishment that had already been laid out for him.

Personality: Brass, hot-blooded, and very aggro. Will fight anyone and anything. Couldn't think his way out of a thin paper bag, but is so stubborn he'll just keep going at a problem till it's solved.

Extras: Actively avoids learning anything about dinosaurs out of spite.

Man, y'all are to fast for me. Plus, this isn't really the game I signed on for anymore. Peace, and have fun with it.

Linkle looked up as Bowser and the wizard started playing good guard/bad guard with the guildmarm and frowned at how obviously uncomfortable they were making the nice looking young lady. She absentmindedly let the gunpowders fall out of her hands and into those of the Courier and walked forward to give the boys a piece of her mind about that.

Turns out she didn't have to worry all that much, and Linkle's grin widened as none other than the Master of Masters swooped to her rescue first!

Or, at least, a guy who looked just like the Master of Masters. His mannerisms, though similarly energetic, the voice was all wrong had this slight but unmistakable twinge of sleeze to it. Besides, the Master could see the future. If you could do that it would take all the fun out of gambling. But if he wasn't the master they definitely shopped for clothes at the same place, so he must have been from the same world.

She sidled up to the counter as the man was dealing out the quest cards, crossing her arms on the table and laying her chin on them to watch him deal them out. She read them out one at a time, and wasn't surprised to see the rewards listed in rupees. If she got a few of these under her belt there was no way she wouldn't be able to square her self-imposed dept to Cid. If she just wanted money it would be easy to take the rock gathering job, something she was confident she could go all day at, but her eyes slid off that card and was drawn as though by some compelling force to the more urgent ones. Missing people and evil fish creatures took priority over cold hard cash.

Then again, it wasn't like the Guildmaster had said anything about only one quest to a person. It wasn't like they had somewhere they desperately needed to be either.

Speaking of the Guildmaster she looked up at him. "Hey?" She said to get his attention. "Do you know a man who calls himself the Master of Masters? He helped us out a while ago, and he dresses exactly like you." A sudden thought occurred, and she excitedly pushed herself up from the counter. "Wait, if you're the Guild Master, and he's the Master of Masters, does that make him your master? Do you have any idea where his eye would be?"

By now Bowser had turned back, his thump of the counter putting the cards askew and sending a tremor up Linkle's arms. He gazed down at the cards, clearly in deep thought, but it didn't seem that complicated to her. "Let's just do all of them." She said, already getting fired up. "Between the lot of us I'll bet we could knock all of these out in one day, team up on that big monster, and leave the town clamoring for more."

"Imma box him then sell the video to Animal Planet." She said confidently, pulling herself back up onto the step. "If they're gonna fund a whole show about four big ol' rednecks going to look for him I figure I'll get on there easy."

She suddenly smirked, tilting her head from behind the viewfinder. "You really think he's a guy?" Claude hadn't considered bigfoot might be sentient. To her it was simple; cool ass people would be living at the school and in the dorms, but you'd keep a weird ass animal in the woods so you didn't have to clean up its massive mythological dumps. Still, the thought excited her. "That'd be even better." She said with a smirk. "We could do pre-fight trash talk, interviews, do this up right."

Her thoughts were pulled away from the idea of a properly promoter pay-per-view when she heard voices coming from another room. She turned her back to the stairs and peeked around the corner into the nearest room. The boy from the hallways was in there, along with a girl from the bus and and a dude that was already in bed.

"C'Mon, you're all Tuckered out already? We barly just got here."
There was an uncomfortable number of necromanantic death entities in the room at this point, not to mention he could feel the eyes of a big mother hubber on them now that probably had perhaps the biggest skeleton of all.

He tilted his eyes upward and could see the swirling death energy. A ghost eye, like his, staring down at them. It was a gaze that was oddly familliar.

The realization hit him like a millstone. "Hey, is that him right now? Hold on, hold on a minute, can I just..." He said walking close to the scythe girl and leaned down, tilting his head to the side to try and listen at her ear as though she were some kind of information transmitting device that hadn't been invented yet. "Hey fuckface, is that you? It just hit me right now, I think me and my uncle killed one of your fingers."
