Round 2 Update

AdAM
AdAM 7 and 8 have each readied a reaction with an unknown (known to me and him only) trigger to activate its resolution.

Mara
"I said stop fightin, dammit! Fine, have fun fighting over nothing!" Mara uses her bonus action to Rage, then Fern uses the Disengage action and moves over to the Resilient Sphere, giving Mara the chance to pick it up. They then move to the base of the stairs where Mara dismounts. "Keep em from followin, Fern," Mara says as she backflips up the 10 ft tall tower, then bounces herself up the small opening, the sphere in tow. She will then move as far as her speed allows to the doorway with her name on it. Athletics to climb: Nat 20 with Advantage from Rage.

Thanath
Thanath's quick read of the situation told him that there was indeed a fight going on, and Mara's words confirmed it. "I most certainly will!" Thanath boomed as he put away his maul and pulled out 2 javelins while moving to the bottom left corner of the room to get a better shot at his quarry. From his quick read of the situation, Thanath deemed that the side of the conflict with the Warforged riding a giant spider that had just poisoned the Albino Man had the greater odds. So he decided he would aid the side of the conflict that hat only 1 tiny fairy fighting for it. "Time to even the odds!" Thanath boomed before throwing 1 javelin at each AdAM. The javelin intended for AdAM 7 struck true with admirable force. However, the javelin aimed at AdAM 8 missed the mount by a few inches and struck the rider instead. And since Thanath had used his dominant hand to make that throw, the 2nd javelin hit much harder than the 1st.

Invisible Human Female:
Footsteps upon the spiral staircase could be discerned by the monastic’s wolf. Fern could smell the woman approaching, prepared to strike at the hint of any impending conflict. The unseen warrior attempted to remove the makeshift Cerberus paradoxically guarding the fictitious gate to the upper world. Her fist was bent on meeting the lupine mount, but missed entirely falling of the stairs, suffering damage and possibly ruining the concentration it had on the sphere, but it held true.

@Cu Chulainn is up
“My instincts have long since rotten away, but my hunger remains. Every campfire is a hunting ground; each soul either ally or potential prey.”

The druid did not falter in disclosing his perspective, having been flanked many a time by threats ignored. His days and nights fending off pirates, all after the same horde.

Treasure.

His bones knew of this possible tactic, discard a faction to follow the rear, ever so often, then send word by bird or smoke. The rub kindled, whether the presence of the smolder was actually a message, or its absence a herald of followers. Likely the former since the cult remained on the move, trafficking its members with crude expediency.

“I suggest we test the waters to the side, lads, lest we become swept in any cagy tide. The power of discretion is soft. It is the firm leaf unyielding to a tornado.”

With a snap of his fingers and an outstretched hand, feathers twirled into a squall emanating from his palm, sprouting the familiar ebon frame. Eventually the whirling beaked dervish coiled into the heavens, to scout ahead if they decided, collectively, to advance upon the curious tangent.

“War soars upon the meekest updrafts while peace brawls against the gales of a hurricane. It is now the way of the world. We must change it.”

@Hekazu
The morning, already peppered by the varying amounts of seductive antics and now forged ebony, rose in its evanescent canopy, enlightening the combat between Theodore, Katia, and Thea. Her Beloved had already elevated to a tactical advantage, rising swiftly to the rooftops, to monastically strike with fire and fury, when the opportune window cracked a sliver once again. The gnome cast his lot, too, offering another hand against the mounting dusk during dawn, sparkling with the variegated stripes of a kaleidoscope, hued with polychromatic splendor.

If Birbin struck and missed, the warlock estimated not to be within the vicinity. The reborn sage darted further into the alley, away from smoky mischief and glittering pandemonium from the minuscule wizard. Distance would be an advantage in this chess match with death and its minions. Elevating her staff, her focus surged with the Eldritch might which her patron imbued within the wood and her master, Shujaat, into the gem. The detonation rang true, seething through the air and etching into a monstrous wisp before the bard. To add insult to injury, the cleric cursed the armed shade, depriving it of muster and strength.

“Cesar! Now!”

@Big Dread, @Cu Chulainn, @The Harbinger of Ferocity
Below is the homebrew Fairy race, of which Cerise is specifically a Pixie with Gossamer Wings.

homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/share/S1-…

Gossamer Wings: You have a fly speed of 30 ft. The air is considered difficult terrain when you are further than 5 ft from solid ground, and if you remain in flight for more than a minute without touching down, you must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or take a level of Exhaustion (repeating the save for every minute of flight). You also have Disadvantage at Stealth, while in flight, due to the sparkling nature of the wings when in motion.
I have no objections. Just wondering if anyone else was gonna post, before doing so. I can if you so desire. But to answer Kyra's question and yours, the answer is yes.
Round 1 Update

AdAM
AdAM proclaims the following while strapping himself securely upon AdAM 8, and climbing upside down in front of the southern exit.

"Answer: Actions were necessary."
"Statement: Your Captive was an unknown asset to Escaping"
"Comment: Target should be neutralized, and may require medical expertise."
"Observation: Another unknown entity has entered this chamber."

Mara
Mara and Fern, her Wolfy, will move to the bottom of the pillar. Should the invisible woman be aggressive, she will use her action to grapple her. If the invisible woman tries to damage someone, Fern will attack.

Thanath
Having been ignored by the unseen individual, Thanath simply watched as the door was jumped on 1 final time before the door gave way and the hole became unblocked again. Hearing sounds further down after the sounds of falling door had stopped, Thanath peered down the hole and wondered what was going on down there. After a moment, Thanath concluded some sort of confrontation was commencing down there. "Don't start the fight without me!" Thanath boomed before drawing his maul and descending into the room below in a way that both showed off his athletic prowess and let him walk away from a fall that exceeded 10 feet without taking damage or dropping prone upon landing.

Invisible Lady
Suddenly, a sphere appeared from the origin of the crimson grin, encapsulating the stable, unconscious Albino, apparently resilient from any to or fro from within. After wiping the blood off, she paces briskly to the pale, poisoned diamond bearer.

Thanath and Mara were offered an AoO, but at disadvantage. Both declined.

Prison?

@The Grey Dust@Daemanis @JBRam2002
Noting the Dire Wolf, the proverbial Whitey began to yodel loudly, wiggling from Mara’s grasp as she was about to place the key in the lock which shackled her mount. He dashed, flailing his arms in a terrified manner, towards the glimmering portal.

“Declaration: Unknown Albino Organic is attempting to escape Custody of potential ally,” stated the fleshy robot.

“You do not harm the allies!” The fairy retorted.

“Statement: Units shall assist in subduing target.”

“Let the man go!”

“Statement: The bite of Mounted Unit is Paralytic.”

“I reiterate, let the man GO!”

“Comment: Should target survive the primary traumatic injury and fail to resist venom, target will be neutralized.”

Cerise raised her mace, with her shield into a defensive position. “Last warning.”

The spider moved swiftly in front of the exit, blocking the Albino’s escape. The poison quickly engulfed the blanch gent as he flaccidly collapsed, unconscious. In retribution, a sacred flame consumed the eight legged creature and its rider.

The invisible woman again ignores the friendly conversation from the Goliath. Footsteps could be heard leaping onto a slab whereupon the fan was not directly above. A jump could be discerned from those who were perceptive to which a heavy thud landed in the already dented barricade. The metal buckled and plummeted below, awkwardly descending off the central pillar and again off portion of the stony spiral staircase. Blood splayed on the ground and engulfed a partition of the girl, who demonstrates a sharky scarlet grin.

Just in time to witness the Albino flop in front of a giant arachnid.

>Everyone roll Initiative.

Pillar Room

East of Waterdeep

You ran from that hated concrete jungle.

Why did you ever risk exploring the City of Splendors? The detested prison full of traps. That zoo, with rooms full of beasts. Who would harbor and chain such magnificent animals?

It had been about an hour, since paranoia gripped your mind. Likely a consequence of the hallucinogens employed in the rituals you have pursued since knighthood. Or were you drugged? Your legs feel weak, but the gem brilliantly began to glow strong with vibrant blue light as you hastily departed from that hidden menagerie, to which invisible hands loosed your chains. Gradually, the sapphire commenced to dim, as if the inverse of its luminescence translated as a beacon, with its negative connotative.

Was this all because of that single use of that damned Dragonrose?

A drug, sensitive and rapidly degradable to light and heat, but if preserved in darkness, its potency doubled. The base is flammable and ignites into a blaze, if exposed too long to illumination. Once snorted, it kindles due to the body temperature serving as a catalyst. Hence the nominal creditation and the simultaneous dissuasion to consume in minute qualities lest the user suffer internal thermal burns.

Furthermore, the consequence of this drug, rumored in a spectrum of enchantment and transmutation, whether temporary or permanent, some even dipping into other planes and complete madness, still has not deterred those who abuse and sell such illicit remedies. All because of the promise of divination and efficiency.

Your memories suddenly harvested the remembrance of your friend, Evlynne.

She used Dragonrose with you, didn’t she?

Where was she? Was she looking for you? Was she dead?

The foliage on the outskirts demonstrated passage of not only time but seasons. The leaves were mostly comprised of hues of scarlet, auburn, and olive. You recall that it was winter when you entered the Castle Ward.

Has a whole year passed by?

Bark after branch after hill pass you by, as you delve deeper into the forest surrounding the eastern side of the Crown of the North. Following the cardinal direction of the sunrise, your lungs burn with the aroma of autumn as your legs tire, deprived of the energy of your Wildshape. Strangely, a clearing and a statue erupts into view. The sculpture bears familiarity, even housing a pebble of indigo in its arm. As you approach up to five feet of the feminine figurine, you mystically realize its identity as your whisper her name.

@Ms Ravenwinter@corneredbliss

The crimson headscarf of Biggs circumscribed around slick brown hair, bobbed, as he announced, “Heads.”

The coin of Cocoon swiveled ferociously in the air, eventually succumbing to the drop of gravity; its pull inevitable with its consistent plummet of all that attempted to climb against the horizons of both worlds, their metaphorical wax wings melting in the sun of war. The descent of the pence tumbled finally into the open palm of the slim youth.

“You lose, Wedge,” the bandana voiced its authority once again. The number of tosses had been have been about six, all landing in favor of the thinner of the duo.

“Okay. I give up. I’ll get the tip next time we go out for Breshan,” the self confessed “rolly-polly” sarcastically bellowed, “I wonder why Cid wants to talk to us about. It seemed he wants us to pack all supplies.”

“Go out?!?” The skinnier man shouted, “When was the last time, Dubya, that we’ve been outside this camp?”

“Before the war.” The reply was still somewhat jovial but tinged with a somber hue.

The pair, both waddled and marched, further nearer Cid’s tent, their brown boots, similar but in exception of size and stains of blood.

As the pair approached Cid’s tent, they heard the sound of a heavy bootprint behind them. “You know, Wedge, I think he might be cheating you with that coin,” Cid spoke up, a chuckle on his voice. “But no time to lose. Julian brought new arrivals. We should greet them and get them acquainted to camp life before they run off again, don’t you think?” A large and firm hand was placed on each of their shoulders as Cid turned them back towards the oncoming troupe. “Let’s go introduce ourselves, shall we?”

“Hey, I am on the up and up,” Biggs proclaimed simultaneously hiding the gymnastically inclined currency, after its last pirouette.

Wedge quickly squeezed in a remark in retaliation, “Have you been underhanding me all this time?”

“I would never do such a thing.” His smirk only evident to himself and those up ahead.

The trio, redirected by their chef and leader, trotted to the camp, where a throng was gathered, all discussing quietly from afar. Unbeknownst to the duet, the fate of a recently captured PSICOM officer, as Isis left the tent of their lieutenant. Julian quickly followed without any weapons in hand.

Biggs eventually noticed the enemy in plain sight. “What the fuck, Cid?”

“Rice said that Julian captured him,” Cid replied, noting that the prisoner was still bound. “I’m sure Jules has it completely in hand.” Truth be told, Cid was already formulating a method to keep the prisoner bound, ensuring safety for all involved. Julian would never allow an execution without cause, but that didn’t mean they would be stupid about their security.

The group pressed forward until they had gathered with the rest of the camp. The earliest lights of Eden were just barely beginning to brighten, turning the pitch dark campsite into a vista bathed in deep violets. Sunrise and sunset in the Waterscape were always the most spectacular sights on Eden, the rainbow of color spreading across the land like a visual virtuoso. Perhaps the views were not so beautiful as a sunrise on Pulse, but here on Eden, it was as good as it got.

“Magnificent, isn’t it?” Cid spoke up, his deep baritone interrupting the quiet hush that had fallen over the crowd. “The name’s Cid Daniels. I’m the chief engineer around here. I keep everything running and in good shape, as well as cook the food. If you need anything, let me know. I’m basically Julian’s second in command... just without the military rank. Left that behind a long time ago.” The jovial introduction was accompanied by a welcoming smile, and the way he spoke felt almost as if the newcomers were already a part of Cid’s closest confidantes.

Biggs walked up, without anyone introducing he and his partner in commerce. “Thanks, Cid! Well, you all are probably wondering who the two dudes behind him are. No, we’re not sous chefs or architects. We are suppliers, ladies and gentlemen. Specifically….” He allowed a pause to allow audience participation. Eyeing no takers after a second, He clambered on without hesitation, “B&W Outfitters.”

The rounder Wedges chimed in without missing a beat. “Is City life getting you down? Answer! The call of the wild.” He spread his hands, pointing to the Waterscape’s beautiful panorama circumventing the horizon. “With our B&W gear to protect you, a trek through these lowlands or in the dangerous cities riddled with Cie’th, will be a proverbial walk in the park. But why not leave the hustle and bustle behind, and return nature.” Wedge was gawking at Brax and the PSICOM officer when he finished.”It may be the vacation your soul needs.”

“That’s right, buddy.” Biggs polished the sales pitch. “If any of you all need any outfitting, come on over. We’ll give you a serious discount.”

“Never miss a chance for a free plug, eh?” Julian spoke up as he approached behind Biggs and Wedge. “Don’t mind the amount of cheese you hear from these guys. They’re the best of the best. Speaking of... Cid, what can we do about our friend there?” Julian nodded towards Isis. “Those ropes won’t hold long. Got some AMP shackles for him?”

Cid nodded. “Give me an hour or so, and I’ll have something whipped up for you. In the meantime, breakfast is served!” Cid gestured back towards a tent adjacent the workshops. From this distance, neither sight nor smell differentiated the slop from the grease that covered Cid’s palms. Julian grimaced slightly at the announcement. Although Cid’s cooking was... mostly edible, it left much to be desired. No one else in the camp was any better, however. Julian hoped someone in the group he had just recruited had some talent in the kitchen... and enough tact to not hurt Cid’s feelings in the meantime.

Wedge bolted to the tent promising the meal, while Biggs slowly trekked, formulating his promenade slightly in front Cid, for a moment. “Cheese? We ain’t no cheap cheddar. We’re high quality, pure Gouda when it comes to our stuff. Just got to spread the news of B&W; it’s a monetary gospel that will spread like wildfire once everyone realizes danger is real.”

He then chased after Wedge, taking a seat on a pew at the church of eggs, sausage, and toast. Each bench constructed out of birch wood was framed perfectly with matching tables, with pots and pans strewn with half-burnt meat and wheat. Everybody slowly followed Cid’s cue to the welcoming feast except B.R.A.X, who never again attempted to risk masticating the organic material, knowing that previous prototypes have festered insects and pestilence. This was due to presence of biologic matter acting as an purulent instigator if a moist meal became stuck in places that was difficult to extricate.
