I see Henry got my PM, good to have you around if so.
You'll have to talk to the god constellation that is a god damned Bee then.

Biendor, The Bee – Represents wealth, believed to grant abundance of harvest.
I myself am very interested in hearing more about the kingdoms across the Great Expanse, particularly House Antar. I'll probably be either them, or one of the House Thralons.

House Antar - Ruling house of the Kingdom-Republic of Voltaani, descended from the royal line of Old Voltaani refugees when they fled their homeland during religious crusades by their neighbors. As a real world example naming conventions are generally Spanish, Portuguese, and Basque. Example of character names include— Amaya Antar, Amando Artez, Anxo Iniigo, Dario Valari, and Cornelio Txausi.

The followers of Diosaea by faith (they don't follow Aavaar, though people have tired to convert them but it is quite difficult to invade through a desert with steep cliffs as natural walls), and like the vyntic settlers in the north the "foreigners" to Orlandis, though through alliances with the Kingdom of Caelia and adopting many Landic practices find themselves regarded very well. Basically I accidentally created a different variation of Game of Thrones Dornishmen except they don't exactly occupy a desert or call themselves princes over kings. As the Event in the OP may imply, Voltaani does not have huge levies or military enlistment of their people; preferring to use their trade alliances and prestigious economy to secure mercenaries instead. This however has never been a problem, most likely due to the fact the Expanse & Verge is known as "Fields of Gold" which Voltaani and Caelia equally mine to their benefit- making them probably one of the richest provinces in Orlandis.
    - Gold is a major resource, but there also gems aplenty.
    - No organized military, chooses to hire mercenaries skilled with sword and boat.
    - Half monarchy, half trade republic. Their council has a lot more power than neighboring countries.
    - Iberian racial group, though many have married into the people native to The Expanse & Verge allowing a mixture of people to flourish.
    - Oldest traditions of "civilized" society in Orlandis, they descend from a trade empire that had existed for many centuries.
    - Due to said traditions they have accumulated knowledge of older refined techniques of metalworking and trade economics.
    - Follow Diosaea instead of Aavaar, this is also a religion they spread throughout the Expanse & Verge eventually converting the people of the Kingdom of Caelia ages ago; much like Aavaar they incorporated the ancient constellation gods into their worship to not alienate those individuals.
    - Really awesome.

Basically I will get a write-up of their religion on the highest priority. I can divulge more micro-information if I have specific questions in front of me.

That goes for anyone BTW, think of the interest check as a Q&A!

Oh snap, I wasn't aware we were gonna be this close to GoT. If that's the case, then I'll bring over my headcannon house that, to my great distress, will never actually exist in that universe. Guess that means I can't be the Crowes, though.

HOUSE CARLISLE

Words: From Duty Runs Rivers of Gold
Location: Sworn to one of the kings. Any, really.

House Carlisle: Looking for employment!

Sheets will basically be formatted like so:

One of my favorite indie rock releases of the year, fantastic.

Sample - "Under a Rock"
Just for the record I'm interested in the Stormbroken, so any addition information, lore, etc that you have on them would be great, seeing how I don't know exactly what they're all about- whether their sea raiders, wilding-esque, and so on. If this will be in the ooc, then that's great. Also, I'd like to say that the map is very impressive for just being done in paint, so I look forward to the continued level of detail and polish to come.

Yeah, years of experience with coping with paint has made me become... adept with it.

But yeah, I'll have a detail about the Stormbroken in the OOC. Whilst they are my "Ironborn analogue", I did detail them a bit differently in an attempt to not blatantly rip off my influence from George R.R. Martin; they have celtic naming conventions (so anything from Pictish, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Brythonic, and Breton basically). Their religion is based on worship of the elements. Their military advantage is light frigate-based navy, raiding culture, and crude warriors for their soldier-base.

And as a default, House Marlowe's house words are "Quake with Fear" symbolizing their view of non-Stormbroken cultures, even their Hinterlander cousins in Reinoa.

Also this is in my lore post in the to-be OOC:

Stormbreaker
The legendary mountain that defined western Hinterlander culture. The Stormbroken, as they have aptly named themselves, describe the event as like a near-apocalypse as the mountain lost its “helm” as the tides swallowed the cracking earth whilst blowing the hovels down into these pits of fate. In short, Stormbreaker is a currently inactive volcano that sits on a fault.

Can I play House Caine? I'd also like to change the name if I can play as them.

Yeah, that's completely fine. The only names that can't be change is House Antar and House Thralon as they have great historical significance.
Or people could describe their characters with their words, I wager?
Seven Great Houses needing to be filled, five interested parties so far. I think this is a pretty good turnout for only two days. Thanks for the interest guys, I'll get to work on the OOC so I can get it up as soon as possible!
This is Westeros as it stands.

My name is Argilac Durrandon, the second to bear my name and the grandson of the first; I am the King of the Stormlands.

To reflect upon and chronicle the recent history of my house is a daunting feat indeed, but in the last handful of decades the prestige of my house has become great, so great that we are likely the most powerful force in all of Westeros which is quite the claim itself.

Most would say it began with the taunting of Aegon Targaryen to the point my grandfather damned many lives, but Aegon desired my mother, the then Princess Argella Durrandon. But instead of his hand the Valyrian thought little of my father’s offer and asked for his supposed illegitimate brother to take it instead which from what I have read infuriated my grandfather to land’s end. That was when the war began, though we talk about it more like an invasion or conquest.

Looking to the rivalry with The Reach as fruitless and pointless, it was there the council around my grandfather suggested ending it with a matrilineal marriage between Argella and the unmarried youngest Gardener prince. From here the Maesters say history converges because the following events lack sense given Aegon’s talent for tactics and his holding of several dragons. My grandfather’s words were “if it bleeds, it can die.” – the records of the battles that followed are a mess, but it ended with King Harren ‘the Black’ dead in Harrenhal as Orys Baratheon marched upon The Reach and The Stormlands.

My grandfather soon would perish much like the Ironborn leader due to a battle injury by Orys Baratheon, which given the age difference many found unsurprising. The only heir to my father was my mother, Princess Argella, who declared herself Storm Queen and instead of cowering she stood clear and proud. But instead of throwing my mother to the Targaryen’s in a case for their own lives they followed her and into battle at that. Given the alliance between Lannister, Durrandon, and Gardener things looked up despite the dragons. Perhaps the gods favored us when the first dragon died or when the allied forces used military strategy to misdirect and defeat the manned forces of Aegon’s army. In the end the people of Westeros pushed Aegon Targaryen to Dragonstone where peace was soon sued for.

But, the Targaryen’s despite agreeing would still sit with eyes on Westeros… but for some reason looked to the east instead for a time.

This was where my mother’s reign with Gyles Gardener began.

The land was in chaos in The Trident with the Iron King killed there not too long before. Three Kingdoms offered protection—The Rock, The Vale, and The Stormlands. This was the time where clever expansion was considered as this sort of economic breadbasket was seen by my mother as the best way to recover for losses with The Targaryen invasions beforehand. The Stormlands took the Bay of Claws, The Claw, Southstone and a few others in this bid for vassals. In the end as a mocking gesture to the Ironborn she renamed Harrenhal as Argehal—which was probably the most curious move she made during this time of peace. The reign of the Storm Queen Argella Durrandon would be known as one where repairs and stability of the realm were sought out. During that time me and my five siblings were born, though only four of my kin made it out of infancy.

However my mother could not have expected what happened when illness took her later in life.

The King of the Reach is dead, and through my father the lands have passed to me.

How could the Gardeners be extinct? The King of the Reach lacked succession after misfortune damned his house. Cousins and Brothers and Sons died throughout this time of peace. A true tragedy, but now I hold the titles of three kingdoms and huge responsibilities. They call me the Storm King of the Reach, Trident, and Stormlands—they call me “the Handsome Stag”, and they assume I have ambitions similar to Aegon’s for I have elected no other successors. They call me greedy and say my youth lacks the wisdom I need to run the kingdoms. It is true, however, that I am only twenty—but the Vale has had children on their throne and survived well. The realm will survive me.

I am not what they say.

I may hold lands, but I am many things—strong, kind, cynical, brave, just, gregarious, and diligent. I have no such ambition or greed. I do need to build alliances and prepare for revolt however.

I am King Argilac the II, and this is where the dynasty of House Durrandon continues to live.

Original thread inspriation is this thread by @Hood

Choose your empire wisely, spammers, and I shall track your kingdom's progress as it grows or declines. Personally, my recommendation would be to take one of the more relevant domains, those of the Irish petty kings and counts as shown below. You will be featured prominently over the course of this tragic tale as I carve out a kingdom on this wretched island.

Would be told in my characters perspective of course.

So does anyone want to sort of follow me on this CK2 adventure?

If not I'll just keep posting progress.

It's been a month since launch so I'm sending out PMs today to all interested parties and collaborators to see where they currently stand.
Not a lot of turnout since launch, if you have concerns or if you missed the original interest check it out!
