I guarantee you some members very much want to play their characters to the point they are designing “in case of _____, break class” RPs. But it is best to not announce any plans before @Jabber has returned and established his intentions or activity schedule.

We should not elect anyone as “GM”. We should not make an OOC for Aether Online. Not only is that against basic unspoken rules of courtesy and respect, it’s nearly insurrection and distinctly disrespectful as it has been for many years on this site. Designing a competing RP is one thing when you don’t like the GM’s activity schedule, but the precedent it sets with some of these suggestions are not “fonz cool”.

EDIT: RL problems have kept me from writing. For the past two days I've been scrambling all over NYC chasing this dude who owes me money. Fun stuff! Anyway, haven't forgotten ya'll, but I might need more time.

I’m going to give @Jabber the benefit of the doubt with this one— three days without a post isn’t really that concerning by my book, but I think at least a mention of what’s going on would be helpful to solidify those who are confused what is exactly going on. I’m no perfect GM by any means, but I know what it is like juggling things and it can get fairly hectic. I sincerely hope we, as a group, haven’t lost faith in the project at the very least.

I don’t envy my countrymen either. We effectively have a regime starting in 2017.

The most important outcome of the U.S. election is that major political parties now have to rethink their rhetoric, especially the Democratic Party. We shall see if a Republican-ran United States will turn out well or unwell for us, but this is historic in that one singular party holds control of the Senate, House of Representatives, and Presidential Administration in the modern context of our democratic republic. However you feel about that, it is scary to many people that one party can effectively run the nation unopposed; but the American public made their bed by electing senators and representatives so we cannot feel sorrow if this does not progress our endeavors going forward because it is what we chose. As a left-leaning moderate, I have concerns but I am going to try to hope for the best.
