Overtale

Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS...
One day, war broke out between the two races.
After a long battle, the humans were victorious.
They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell.
Many years later...Frisk's story began...

After their journey through the Underground and many encounters, the monsters are finally free...

Frisk had gone to live with Toriel and worked as the Ambassador of Monsters and Humans while attending school. At first, the appearance of monsters surprised and scared humans, but thanks to Frisk's efforts as Ambassador (and the help of his friends), nobody lashed out and nobody was harmed. Slowly but surely, the relations between monsters improved little by little, but tension between the two races remained. However, nobody knew that something evil and dangerous still lurked somewhere.

Watching them...stalking them...waiting...

Six months passed since the monsters were released from the Underground, and one day, Frisk disappeared. All of Frisk's friends immediately noticed. The search for Frisk is on, and it is up to Frisk's friends, new and old, to find them and keep the balance between Humans and Monsters.

Rules

*COMMUNICATION! It's important. If something comes up and you can't post for whatever reason, please let me or the CO-GM know. I'll do my best to do the same.
*After posting in the IC, wait until two other people have posted before you post again.
*You can play Original Characters (Human or Monster) or Canon Characters from Undertale.

*However, Frisk and Chara are off limits.
*With great power comes great responsibility: If you would like to play Sans, then you have to be the Co-GM.
*You can be Flowey if you want, but you won't have the power to kill others, and you would be restricted to a flower pot.

*Keep an eye peeled on your PMs during the game. You never know what may give you Determination, and you never know what could happen.
*In case I forgot any rules or something comes up that needs a rule, I will add more here.
*This will be a slow paced RP. I do not expect you to post every day, and I won't be able to post every day either. We will have a posting order established once the RP starts.
*If you read the rules, answer this question: "Which is harder, Junior Jumble or Crossword?"
*Last, but not least, is have fun!

Personality: Kind, caring, optimistic, and curious. She can be a bit of a prankster however, and that, along with her curiosity, tends to get her into a lot of trouble. She can also be quite impatient and hot headed, and that makes her tend to rush into situations without thinking beforehand.
Bio: Skylar always watched out for her sibling, Frisk. She doesn't talk about their family life very often, so their life there has always been enigmatic. But people do know her for her habits of sticking up for her sibling if someone was bullying Frisk, and her tendency to always get in trouble, whether it was on purpose or not. She had been with Frisk when he was on Mt. Ebott that one fateful day. Frisk had tripped and fell, and Skylar had tried to save him, but to no avail. She remained above and tried to get everyone and anyone she could to help find Frisk. However, their efforts continued on for a while, and three days later, Frisk had reappeared, without a scratch...and with monsters. Skylar had at first, confused the monsters to be ready to attack Frisk. But, after Frisk spoke with her, she calmed down and acted friendlier towards the monsters. She was disappointed to hear that Frisk wanted to stay with Toriel instead of with her, but she didn't stop Frisk.
Ever since that day, Skylar visited Frisk more often, and she ended up becoming the Ambassador's Assistant, not because of her job history, but because it seemed to the monsters that Frisk felt better with their sister around.
This continued until six months later, when Frisk disappeared.

Journey to the West

For those who don't know, Journey to the West is the legend telling of the infamous Monkey King, Sun Wukong. This character is the trickster archetype that has inspired many works in anime and manga these days. I've been rereading the lore, and I would love to do an RP with this.

Now, whether this would be an RP about the Monkey King dealing with being in the future, or if this would be an RP about someone from the present dealing with this journey, this is something we can discuss.

Drama and Intrigue with Youkai

In the world of Aeria, two countries were at war with each other. One was the country of humans, Aomori, and the other was the country of fae (though they prefer the term youkai. To them, fae is an insult,), Hounin. Both countries were governed by their Royal families, the two countries fought against each other for a thousand years, the youkai lived long enough to see the Human's rulers lust for revenge die out. After the thousandth year, just after the Human Country's Prince inherited the throne and became King, change started to ensue and set the story in motion. The new Human King had called the Youkai's Ruling Family, the Kitsune Family (a family of shapeshifting fox type youkai, known to the humans as tricksters), for a meeting and both families agreed on a Peace Treaty.

The agreement of the Peace Treaty was that by having the Human King's only heir, his daughter, the Princess, marry the Kitsune Family's heir, the Kitsune Prince, all hostilities will end and the two countries will begin trade with each other.
Everyone in the Human Kingdom, and some in the Youkai Kingdom (not all of the youkai are forgiving towards humans), were pleased to hear that the two Kingdoms agreed on a Peace Treaty...except for the Princess herself.

The King tried to talk sense to his daughter, but she didn't seem to listen. The next morning however, the Princess had disappeared. She had selfishly run away in order to not be married to the Kitsune Prince. The King managed to convince the Kitsune Family to give them one year's time, but he never told them that the Princess ran away, instead he told them that the Princess needed time to prepare herself emotionally.
The King had his knights search for the Princess everywhere in the Human Kingdom, but she was nowhere to be found. The knights however, did find a peasant girl named Kanaya who would be perfect to act as the stand-in.

The knights took Kanaya to the King, and he pleaded the peasant girl to take his daughter's place. But the peasant girl disagreed because she felt that it was wrong, and she knew what the consequences would be if the Kitsune Family found out that she was an impostor. The King then bribed her with medicine for her ill little brother for when she came back from the Youkai Kingdom, and threatened her with death if she didn't comply, to which she reluctantly agreed, willing to do anything to help her family, even if it meant that she was going to die in the future.

So the One Year Delay was spent with the search for the real Princess, with no results, and training Kanaya in the art of being a lady (but that proves to be a challenge, because the peasant girl is a tomboy and not a stranger to work).

Our story takes place at the end of the One Year Delay, and with Kanaya's arrival into the Youkai Kingdom.

Candice kept on running as fast as she could. She soon reached the town, and was soon leaping across rooftops and using parkour to search for the Mars. The search didn't take too long thankfully. She soon spotted him walking with another gem, heading out of the town. She smiled in relief for a moment, before she contacted him and let Mars know that she was on the rooftops, with clear visual of him and the gem with him. She also told him that she was keeping an eye out for Red and any other gems that was heading their way. She was on the tallest rooftop in the town, and she had a very good vantage point if the situation called for sharpshooting.

...Was Zoe's death her fault? If she had never introduced Mars and Zoe to the military life, then Zoe would still be alive and Mars wouldn't be...

The thought hit her again like a speeding truck. She shook her head and tried to focus her mind and keeping an eye out. She had to protect Mars and the new gem.

Carnelian looked to Sodalite and Aquamarine respectively as they each spoke, answering her question. She heard the white gem and was nearly appalled at the mention that she didn't know how to want. It was something gems and humans could do, so why couldn't she...? Shaking off the response she nodded to Aquamarine and she answered in response, "Alright. Sodalite, dahling, Let's get going! We have no time to lose!" She then looked back at the gemlings and she waved to them saying "I hope to see you later at the temple dahlings!"

She then jumped elegantly away from the ground before taking off into a run heading for town. She wondered briefly if Sodalite and she were going to have to fuse again. Not that she didn't mind being Goldstone, but she hoped that the situation wouldn't call for a fusion.
