Sir Talavar fluttered out of the cage as soon as the door was open. With a flourish in the air he called out in the cave, "Huzzah! I'm Free!"
He looks to Brutrumukk when he asks for payment, and the knight answers, "Of course. I have not forgotten our agreement! Here! You have my sword!"
He then takes off his sheathed sword, and hands it to Brutrumukk with all of the pomp and circumstance he can muster. After he gives the sword, he calls to the party, "As much as I would love to remain in your company for a while longer, I must be off. I have to report back to my Liege! Your valor will not be forgotten!"
He bids them a fond farewell before he darts off, "So until we meet again!"
Jingle Jangle doesn't seem to mind Brutrumukk's rudeness. Her attention was drawn to Jub when he whispered to Aurora. While her gaze was on him, Jingle Jangle looked starstruck. She snapped herself out of the stupor and she answered him, "Milord, Jingle Jangle doesn't have much to offer, but you have Jingle Jangle's hospitality while you are here...Milord," Jingle Jangle awkwardly tries to bow to Jub, but finds it hard to do with the keys on her.
When Aurora and Gabriel give her rations and the guord, the goblin's mood noticeably brightened. She happily accepts the food from both of them, "Oh! Thank you!"
Jingle Jangle looks to Gabriel, and stops herself from digging into the food to answer him,
"Jingle Jangle doesn't know about lost items, but Jingle Jangle does know who steals items,"
She continues to explain to Aurora and Gabriel,
"Those long-eared brigands are led by Agdon Longscarf. He wears a bright blue scarf and he moves as fast as lightning! If you're heading to Brigands' Tollway, you might encounter him there!"
Upon seeing that none of you recognize that name, Jingle Jangle clarified, "Brigands' Tollway are a bunch of old wooden catwalks surrounding a stump! The Brigands camp up there!"
She then realized something and continued, "Jingle Jangle's sorry, but Jingle Jangle doesn't want to leave. If you want a guide, you just need to find Clapperclaw! He's a pincer clawed scarecrow who hangs out at Downfall and he knows the way to Thither!"
Cue the victory music, because you freed Sir Talavar! Sir Talavar has bestowed his sword to you. However, it is a tiny sword, crafted for a being of his size. This weapon functions as a +1 Dagger in the hands of a small or medium creature.
Cascade nods to the Simic Hybrid and she looks to the rest of the party as she informs them, "I'll help where they need it most. Just shout if you need me, and I'll come running!"
She channels the power of Deep Sashelas once again to give her the ice skates once again, and she amends her statement, "Or should I say, I'll skate to you?" She shrugs before she speeds off.
At first, Cascade notices that she's going faster than she intended, and thought about slowing down a bit. But, she noticed some of the attacking forces snuck past the front lines of the camp and were heading towards the people who weren't fighting. Just seeing them gave Cascade an idea.
Without missing a beat, Cascade put away her trident and readied the shield in front of her. Then she proceeded to charge at those enemies, shouting out a battle cry of sorts,
"CHEEEEEEEEE-HOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
The enemy forces who snuck in didn't have a chance. Like a powerful wave from the ocean, Cascade rammed into her foes. Some were tossed into the air, some were shoved to the ground off to the side, and a few unlucky ones landed right underneath her feet.
One enemy tried to stop her with magic...
"Shit shit shit! Stop stop STOP!"
But it was to no avail, and he was sent flying screaming.
But Cascade didn't stop. Her sheer athleticism, along with Deep Sashelas's magic, allowed her to keep on speeding. She guided her momentum and sheer force from that momentum to not only ram down her foes but also to get to where she needed to be quickly.
@Guardian Angel Haruki uhm I might sound like a dick but isn't that easily understandable if he read the IC. Just a thought, anyway. I wonder if Jangle will enjoy this lovely gourd. :D
Still, as a DM, it is my job to also help players and answer their questions. ^^"
Plus, I might be misunderstanding his question, because there are so many situations going on with this module, I'm not sure which one he's asking about...^^"
(Erm, prob. Can you explain the situation one more time to me?)
Er...You mean the situation right now?
Right now, you guys are in the cave in Telemy Hill, talking to a goblin named Jingle Jangle. Brutrumukk's completing a side quest that was given to the party a little earlier, right before Halendar joined. Aurora and Gabriel are both giving Jingle Jangle food right now.
