Well I know a lot of Americans resent Canada for giving us Justin Bieber. Other than that... um... Oh, we kicked Canada's ass in We Stand on Guard. Still need to read that series, looks really interesting.

You're mistaken. American schools don't even teach that much. I knew about the War of 1812 from a documentary on the History Channel (back when the History Channel was actually good) and when I asked a teacher about it, they're only reply was, "I don't even know anything about it. It's probably not important."

We still remember the Revolutionary War though. Granted, that's mostly just due to the fact it was the war that gained us our independence in the first place.
