And back I am. Exhausted, certainly, and may need a while for that to wear off, but I'm once more here to read and even write!

Should have been writing posts. Took part in D&D shenaniganry instead. Got to fix that tomorrow.

There's a lot of backlog here on my end. I'm trying my best to lessen it, but replies might be less frequent for a time. A welcome change from the nothing doing I went through though! Thanks partners!

Bio

I suppose it is about time for me to copypaste fill in some information about myself over here just as well. Only took me a few years to getting around to do it.

I am a married individual in my twenties from the country some people dare claim does not exist. The Finland conspiracy is an old joke, you can stop with it now. Not a native speaker of the English language by any means, though I did begin studying it exceptionally early for our country's standards. I suppose it was some sort of a test case. With that out of the way though, what more should I be saying here...
  • I like being nice to people. If one needs to ask why, well that alone is reason enough.
  • I play and Dungeon Master Dungeons and Dragons, both offline and in the past also over here.
  • I enjoy OOC chatter, be it planning the RP or a more casual exchange (not that RP'ing is that serious). I can make do without, but don't be afraid to talk to me.
  • Whatever the case, I'm here to have fun and hone my writing abilities!
I do think that should about cover it, yes.

Thanks for stopping by I suppose! I do also have a Discord account, but I prefer to start anything RP related on the site. At least with people I don't know from the past, that is! But hey, now if you are a longer time contact of mine and happened to read this, now you know and can ask!

Right, while this is unusual from me I'll handle this in a different way this time: You will not encounter enemies on the way back, so feel free to post descriptions of your return through Greenest to the keep. I assume your character still remember how to get in?

The new Unearthed Arcana is out and it has new cantrips and 1st level spells! Just thought you might be interested: http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/unearthed-arcana/starter-spells
Deciding to backtrack, the hunters headed back down the stairs. Trying to climb or heading into the direction in which the Jailor had somehow surpassed them did not sound all that appealing and who could blame the poor souls? While their descent was quite simple for them, something in the upper floor shifted. It was not happy there was someone on the move. But it would not show itself. All the hunters noticed was the odd feeling of something watching and a strange relief of not having chosen either of the alternatives.

Having passed the window again, they returned to the middle one of the three floors they had noted down. It was quite similar to the upper one, only there was but one suit of armour, this one gripping a halberd furiously right next to the door to what could be presumed to be a hallway. This somewhat bigger door was closed though. Otherwise nothing really stood out: There was a broken cabinet here, as in one that had been crushed to identifiable pieces, and a pile of moth ridden fabrics on one side.

Yes, it is a possibility. Do tell if you want to get a post in before I advance the fame based on stealth roll results.
Paging @Lucius Cypher, @Norschtalen and @Ryonara, your input is required for advancing the game. As of this message, in two days time (~48hrs) the game will advance even if stealth rolls are not presented. Need to keep this moving, or it suffocates. Although I'm not sure if our game is a shark. Eh, you know what I'm trying to tell.
@Dusksong
Well in that case she has got to find a way up the collapsed staircase. How are you doing it? After, all the three ways out of the room is the way down, the way up and the door with Jailor roaming beyond.
@Dusksong
I just want to confirm: Is she heading to the hallway behind the open door where she saw the Jailor?
The people on the rescue mission knew they would have to act fast, and act fast they did. The first one having taken care of the remaining combatant, two headed to make sure the little lizard people would not become a threat and another pair made a beeline for the door concealed within the smoke. The attackers had piled some straw against it, but most that came from burning it was this smoke cloud. With all this going on, Mr. Lake shrugged and decided to stay where he was, making sure the retreat route was available once needed.

While the men were cutting kobold's necks, Parum and Kyra did their best to convince the townsfolk to leave their current fortifications. Once Parum had cast her spell, soon someone answered from beyond the door, demanding further proof of her allegiance. But as soon as Kyra spoke, they called for help with taking something out of the way and soon noises of large things being moved echoed from the inside in rivalry with the smashing of the front door. They got the presumed barricade out of the way quite quickly and Falconmoon opened the back door. "Let's hurry then", he suggested.

Meanwhile, Lake had ran into a problem of his own. Nothing his remaining spell slot hadn't solved though: As the party and their rescued people in tow returned to him, they could find five kobolds on the ground, charred by Mr. Lake's Burning Hands. "That's all my spells down, then", the man mentioned almost casually, joining the villagers as another non-combatant.

Guess who forgot to tag his players? No points available, that would be me. So yet again, I'm doing it retroactively in the OOC.
The prisoners of Wolfwing eventually reached consensus in their plan and headed for the next floor. The topmost stairs were a slight challenge to traverse as quite large pieces of rubble had fallen on top, but given our hunters were no amateurs in the department of physical prowess, their show of athleticism brought them to the other side of this obstacle. And getting back down would be much simpler, just a controlled drop with no climbing required. That, however would not be the focus of their attention for quite some time now: They had a whole floor to explore if they had to guess.

A quick look above their heads informed them of at least one more floor existing above them, but the stairs had collapsed almost entirely. The first step available in the roof wasn't too high up, so if anyone tried they might even reach up to it with some help. The central pillar had been entirely removed though... and seemingly by excessive force. Other ways forward would be the one wooden door that was slightly ajar and... now that they had the moment to look around, there was not much else to go on.

However, this room seemed to have something in it that they had lacked before: Two suits of heavy plate armour stood on their pedestals, their armoured gauntlets grasping a large halberd and an arming sword coupled with a shield respectively. Dust had accumulated on the armaments and even rust made it's presence clear. But they were still better than the brittle shortspears they had found.

Before touching anything, Mistletoe had crept to take a peek out of the door that provided a way onward, but was quick to pull her head back from the crack. "It's the Jailor", she whispered as quietly as she could. As far as she had seen, one could not mistake the draconic shape, the blue flames and the two smaller gargoyles flying along with it. How it had made it here was unclear, but there it was. "It was heading the other way though", she added, sharing the rest of her knowledge.
