Specialty: April Schwarz, whilst having Signal’s well-rounded curriculum to thank for her growing capabilities in all areas of Hunting, lives and dies by her martial prowess in a fight. To put it simply, April Schwarz took to Karate, and then indeed other martial arts like a fish to water, both naturally talented and fiercely passionate in honing her skill to ever greater heights. Where her brother could be generously classified as an “enthusiast”, April is out and out a “fanatic”. In fact, her masters would sooner argue that said passion had infinitely more to do with her abilities than any amount of the potential she possessed. This girl is anything but your average “naturally gifted” fighter— she has ingrained the ins and outs of it all into her brain, from the basics on up, never taking any bit of her skill for granted. The kind of girl that can learn something in one day, but would rather take three, ten, or even thirty to make sure it’s absolutely right. Never satisfied, and always looking further ahead.
Basically, she’s like Goku, if he was a 15 year old girl. Or a power ranger.

Supercharge! : Perhaps stemming from her infectious energy and spirit, April is able to channel her Aura outwardly, in a similar yet much more potent manner than those skilled in using it as an offensive tool. Manifesting as a golden, almost sunlight-esque pulse, she can use it to add extra kick to her strikes, augment weapons, and even channel it through regular inanimate objects to an extent, liquids conducting it especially well. When used in tandem with elemental dust, the semblance lives up to its name as it greatly enhances the effects of both itself and whatever lightning or fire she’s tossing an enemy’s way.
Personality: Genki, genki, genki. April is a girl who is seemingly the personification of high spirits itself, talking and moving at roughly a mile a minute and almost always in good cheer. Often goofy and frank, her friendly, excitable, and straightforward demeanor belies a fairly smart brain, as well as an encyclopedic knowledge on anything fighting. A firm believer in justice and the human fighting spirit, she’s driven by a pursuit of doing the right thing and fighting whatever injustice she comes across, be they protecting her town from Grimm or simply standing up to the local bully by shouting him down and busting him up should that fail. Not one to shy from confrontation by any stretch, her beliefs are firm and she is extremely willing to fight for them.

Tall and long, and lean for her tender age of barely fifteen, April towers over her peers at a colossal 5’8”, having skyrocketed past them and even eclipsing her elder brother, showing zero signs of slowing down along the way. Typically donning tracksuits or or shorts and a tee or tank top, her clothing style tends towards the casual end of things, preferring whatever is easiest to move around in. Her long black hair is typically done up in a ponytail, and being a Schwarz, her stubborn and expressive ahoge only yields to the force of gravity when weighed down by water. Her cute, cheerful face is dominated by large gray eyes, always ready to hunt down the smallest sign of injustice. If she's not grinning sunnily, she's smirking cheekily, and if she's not smirking cheekily, she's gazing sternly ahead at a challenge. If she's not doing any of these, she’s either asleep or something must be very, very wrong. That's the kind of girl April is.
