Maybe we could be Team NAME? Or DAMN. Or...something. To be honest, having N and M together makes it tricky to come up with a team name that makes sense. Well, maybe it's doable and I am just not smart enough to think of one. Because I think of N_M_ or M_N_. Maybe I'm just terrible at this.
@ RyuHill - Depends. Can you make it interesting and not cliched?

Also the OOC is now up, thank you everyone for your patience. See you there!

[For Whom Has Power Shall Control All]

Sinking, sinking ever so slowly, it’s almost as if you’re floating. Are you sinking in water? It is hard to move, but you don’t resist it. Instead, you let yourself fall, only opening your eyes towards the end. As if on instinct, you bring yourself to an upright position. Your feet touch what you think is the floor, only for it to erupt around you. Birds of purest white scatter, revealing an image underneath your feet. Shaded mostly pink, you see several silhouettes scattered around. Seven of them, to be exact, each surrounded by a heart with a crown placed above each heart. Before you can inspect it further, however, a voice calls out to you.

“Good, you’re here at last. Can you walk?”

You take a step forward, as if to confirm the voice’s suspicions, and you look around. The birds are long gone and only darkness surrounds you. Where could the voice be coming from?

“It’s alright.” It continues, reassuring you. “All is well at the moment, but your entire world has been lost to darkness. It is not the first or the last world to perish. The darkness will soon overcome everything…but that doesn’t mean your existence will come to an end. No, instead…it will be the beginning of your journey.”

For some reason, you aren’t alarmed to this news. While worries do poke the back of your head, you feel that you need to listen; you remain quiet, hoping for more explanation, though your eyes return to the silhouettes.

“You will learn who they are once you and I meet.” The voice continued. “Yes, we will meet…you and several others, in fact. Your destinies have become intertwined, you see, though not all of you may be allies. Still, it will be…interesting to see who ends up where. For sometimes even the gentlest soul may give in to the darkness, and the person with the most secrets ends up having the brightest light.”

Those words have your thoughts buzzing again, though the sound of glass cracking catches your attention. You look down, and to your horror, you realize the ground is breaking. You try your best to remain steady, but even when you are still it continues to crack.

“There is no need to be afraid.“ It says to you. “For now you will join the others, and myself, to the world where those scattered from their homes meet. Until then, farewell.”

Your body drops through the glass, falling once more. The scattered remains of the floor glow around you. You feel a warmth, despite your situation. Another voice calls to you, this one much gentler then the first, but you can’t quite understand what it’s saying. The glass pieces dissipate into light, temporarily blinding you, and just as you feel yourself fade away, the gentle voice speaks once again:

“You’re my only hope.”
Welcome to Kingdom Hearts: Destiny. This is an Alternate Universe Roleplay where our Original Characters take place of the heroes. As you can see, the Roleplay starts with your home already destroyed--once the In Character is up, we will be starting off in Traverse Town, regardless of affiliation. Here you will meet someone who will help kickstart your journey--whether it be the voice that guided you through your Dive to the Heart, Maleficent who just so happened to rescue you from fading away like the rest of your world, or someone who just so happen to need your help. Either way, this roleplay will be focused more on the characters and their actions towards one another, as well as the decisions made. You will see that sometimes the Light is not always good, nor is the Darkness always evil.

Now then, shall we begin?

Hey all, just getting home, psyched for this, and like I mentioned, "Odette" was simply a placeholder, so you guys can literally pick whatever letter and I will get another name for Miss Persinette. Though I admit Team dyNAMO sounds pretty awesome.
Nope, still open for now. The OOC will be up tomorrow.
Um, if this is still open I'm interested, if not then don't mind me.

Neptune is too awesome, can't wait to see him in battle.
Will push the OOC Thread to tomorrow, I am working on it as I type this, but I have a tendency to get a little sloppy the later it gets. So to compensate, I'll finish what I have, then proofread and fix whatever needs to be fixed, and then polish it off and make it all new and shiny for everyone to see.

@ JesterJaded - Definitely not limiting the amount of keyblade wielders to one, there will be a limit but I can't say how many until all the CSs come in, though there will be two more options, and I'll just put it here so people can start deciding and whatnot. Besides the obvious choice of Keyblade Wielder (Not Master, Wielder--as we have been shown, later games differentiate what a Master really is so I'll start the term now to avoid confusion), there is the choice of being a 'Traveler', someone that while doesn't have a Keyblade, gets their own enchanted weapon of choice and is effective against the Heartless (kinda like Donald and Goofy are, but I decided to give it a proper term) and more details will be revealed in the OP, though the advantage would be that the weapon can be anything--sword, shield, bow, claws, umbrellas, frying pans--so there's a little more fun with that. There is also the option of course to go ahead and side with the villains for whatever reasons you decide (revenge, power, seeking a loved one, etc., etc.,). Everyone that participates will have a role to play, so there's no pressure of having to be a Keyblade Wielder just to have importance to the plot I have in mind. I'm also pretty open minded for most ideas, but I might reject ideas if I feel they don't fit the RP (or put it off for a later time).
This is totally awesome, I'm sold on this group, I will start working on the OP ASAP and will let you guys know when it's up, though it's getting late so it'll probably be up tomorrow. Look forward to it!
Uhhm, okay, I have this character I'd like to give a shot, I'll put it here for review. Please note the name I have there is simply a placeholder, I'm more then willing to change it to one that'll fit the team, it just felt weird not putting down any name. Also more then willing to change whatever, I just had the idea and decided to roll with it.

Name:
Aurelia Persinette
Age:
17
Gender:
Female
Race:
Human

Appearance:
Aurelia is a girl who is most notable for her very long, neatly braided golden hair--it sweeps around her knees. She is of average height around five feet and six inches, weighing in at about one hundred twenty five pounds. Her skin is somewhat pale, her facial features mostly small and round, including large, violet-hued eyes. She has a modest bust and waist, though boasts long legs. As a modest girl, she wears a long, purple dress, sleeveless with ruffles lining the top. The corset is decorated with several purple flowers that match the ones in her hair, and she wears matching wristbands. Her dress stops around her ankles and is made of a light material that flows, and she wears a pair of short, silver boots with heels.

Personality:
A somewhat timid, reserved young lady, Aurelia comes off as someone who is very quiet most of the time, especially around people she doesn't know. She'l be happily chatting to a friend one minute, then completely mute the next once someone new shows up. She's more the type of person to follow then lead and makes sure to follow directions properly. She seems slightly spacey at times, and tends to take sarcasm completely seriously (and often misses jokes, as well). When she does open up and is in her comfort zone, she is very cheerful, always having a smile on her face. She is gentle in nearly every aspect, whether it be her soft voice and her light and airy mannerisms. Despite her quiet nature, she will speak up when seeing others act maliciously, especially bullies, and won't tolerate any racism of any kind, either. In battle she is not nearly as shy, taking every fight very seriously and striving to always improve herself. She is fascinated by weaponry as well, always eager to find their inner workings and uses.

Likes:
Music, quiet days in the library, paper folding, battles for fun, weapons
Dislikes:
Strangers, cheaters, bullies, people who play/fight unfairly, overly loud noises, people who talk too much, unneeded violence

Strengths:
Long range fighting, vast knowledge of spells, quick to act, excellent healer
Weaknesses:
Relies on others for decision making, quick to lose focus and get distracted, opponents who act quicker then her casting, can't take too many hits

Weapon:
Her primary weapon is one she calls "Rampion". She uses it mainly to channel her spells, its head filled with Dust, as well as being heavy enough to whack people around with. When in need of more power, its head with warp and transform into something resembling a cannon of sorts, Dust firing off in bursts.

Semblance:
"Efficiency" -- Aurelia is able to manipulate the way her body expends energy. As a result, she can endure longer in battle then most people. She doesn't require as much nourishment or sleep, either, though when she does finally crash it takes a lot longer for her to recover. This also extends to her usage of Dust: she uses less Dust for her spells, and is able to fire off much more then the average person.

History:
Aurelia was born into a family of much wealth, and she was loved very dearly by her family. She was spoiled beyond reason, showered with gifts nearly every day, her mother and father loving, and she was happy. She did remember, however, that one day, suddenly everything changed. The happy childhood became one of much fighting and arguments. Her family became distant, her mother and father moreso, and it killed her to see everyone act that way. She knew it was somehow her fault--she could never forget the way her family members would glare at her, throwing her nasty looks, how her father's loving look turned to one made of pure sadness, though no one ever bothered to tell her why. And so she got her own little shell and stayed in it for as long as she could. It was not until her mother died that the fighting stopped, but now she felt a deep, painful sadness instead. She did not understand why anything had happened, and as frustrating as it was, there was nothing she could do. And so she just accepted it.
The so called ray of sunshine was that now her father was like the way he used to be--kind, loving, and slightly smothering, though she loved it. He was back to normal...but she could never go back to the way she was. He understood, gently pulling her out of her shell, having the patience of a saint when she hid. While this was equally as confusing, it was easier to adapt to. Her father raised her the best he could, though sometimes when he thought she wasn't looking, he would have an expression of regret, but she never got the courage to ask him what was wrong.
Years down the road, Aurelia discovered Dust, often looking towards the stores the same way most kids would look at candy stores. Her father got the hint and started practicing with her, showing her how to use it properly and warning her of the dangers. She then asked him what Dust was really used for, and he explained that Dust was what Hunters would use to fight off the Grim. She remembered perking up at the story, After much pleading, tears, and a very reluctant father's blessing, Aurelia enrolled into Sanctum Academy. Fighting was an alleviating experience. It was actually a little scary how free she felt in battle, but it was with pride that she found her calling as well as developed her own style. After much studying, many bruises, the discovery of weaponry and the delights of battle, she was accepted into Beacon, more then ready and willing to become a Huntress.
