Flare narrowed her eyes as the other monster made its hasty retreat, confirmed by Judge Cinnamon's mental announcement. Deciding it was safe enough and unwilling to bear the humiliation of her outfit any longer, Justice SolarFlare would immediately de-transform, her boots turning into heels as she jumped down from the car. She was relieved to be in her much more modest jeans and blouse as she turned towards Eileen, a frown on her face. She would completely forget about the monster entirely as she realized Eileen had gotten hurt.
As much as Fiona wanted to just go home, there was no way she could leave Eileen in that state. At her request, Fiona got into the driver's side, although she couldn't help but give Cinnamon an irritated look. "I don't understand why this is happening," She stated as she would shift the car into drive, continuing on to where seemingly everyone was converging.

Background: Born in the Northern Water Tribe, Nadia was taught from a young age that balance meant everything. Whether it was the sun and rain coming together to bring life to plants, or light and darkness both being needed in the world, balance was necessary. Of course, as she grew older, what her elders had meant was 'know your place'. For as long as she could remember, the old ways were what governed their tribe, where everyone had their duty to fulfill and that was the end of it. There was no going outside of the elders' wishes, what was planned for your future was set in stone if they so willed it.
And for a long time, Nadia accepted it.
Of course, things would change. It wasn't until a journey outside of the tribe that she got to see the world with her own eyes. But before she could fully explore, she would get whisked away back to the safety of the walls she had grown up surrounded by. Those same walls soon became a glided cage as she quickly realized the tensions between the Northern Water Tribe and the Earth Kingdom grew, and yet nothing was done. The Tribe was convinced they were safe, but Nadia felt that even with that, what of the rest of the world? For a tribe that preached about balance, they were so self-absorbed that they wouldn't admit that things were wrong.
And with that, Nadia decided she would seek out the Avatar--the only one she believed could take on An-- herself.
Bending Ability: As a waterbender from the Northern Tribe, Nadia is a skilled healer. However, she has no experience using her skills offensively, as teaching women martial bending is outlawed. Whatever she does know is purely self-taught, though turning water into ice and vice versa is child's play to her as she used to help maintain the buildings in the tribe.
Other: Carries a water skin that has a sewn on pocket around her waist, along with water it holds her currency and betrothal necklace. She also carries a small journal, often writing her adventures in it.
Sample Post:
The pier was mostly empty, with very few people giving her even a passing glance, but for once it was to Nadia's benefit. With bag in hand, she made her way to the end, spotting the small canoe that was promised to her. Taking in a deep breath, she approached it cautiously, constantly looking around. No, she needed to relax a little, she was going to look suspicious at this rate. The canoe was empty, and as she would place her bag down, the crunching of the snow alerted her that someone was approaching.
Expecting the worst, she immediately froze in place, but as she turned, she was only met with concerned eyes. A girl of similar height approached her dock, stopping at the small steps. Her hair was parted into numerous braids, all ending with small, golden beads. Her blue eyes were illuminated by the moonlight, arms crossed with her violet jacket keeping her warm. "Did you think I was your father?" The gentle girl asked, shaking her head, the beads in her hair clinking against one another quietly. "Though, with how you kept looking this way and that, I was sure you were expecting some sort of sea monster."
Letting out a breath of relief, Nadia nodded at her as she met her eyes. "Miakoda...I thought you didn't approve of my departure?" She asked, placing her hands on her hips.
"I'm only here to put in my last shot at getting you to stay," She replied, frowning slightly. "I'm begging you, reconsider. This is a fool's errand, don't you see?"
"What would you have me do instead? Remain imprisoned where there is nothing I can do for anyone?" How many times were they going to have this conversation? Taking in a deep breath, Nadia tried to sympathize. There was little understanding between them, and Nadia wasn't going to change her mind now. She couldn't. "You may not want to admit it, but I know you agree that something must be done."
"And you would chase the hope of finding a single person in the entire world?" Miakoda kept her voice quiet, but her distress was imminent as she descended the steps. "Warlord An is relentless, I'm more than certain the Avatar is well-kept in a dungeon. Your search will be in vain!"
"Then that is where I'll go," Nadia insisted, staying strong to her devotion. "Our world is not the only one in danger without the Avatar. I must do what I can with the moon guiding me."
At this point, Miakoda would become frustrated with Nadia, though she managed to contain herself. "How can you be so certain you'll even be able to?" She asked, walking up to her. "I don't understand you."
She wasn't certain. "I have to try. Right?"
Miakoda never imagined that Nadia would throw her own words back at her. The girl's eyes watered, but she refused to let the tears flow. Instead, she would take Nadia's hands in hers. The two stood in silence, a single moment of clarity between the two. No matter how much reasoning she had, she would not convince her. The realization hit the girl hard, her hands shaking against her will.
"I understand your concern, but something must be done. I must do whatever it takes to spare our people war," Nadia admitted quietly.
It seemed that finally Miakoda would admit defeat, pulling herself away from Nadia. "Come back soon, okay?" She said, clasping her hands together.
Nodding, Nadia would hop onto the canoe, kneeling down and sitting on her feet. Bringing her arms up, she began to slowly bend the water around the canoe, propelling herself gently through the water. She looked back at Miakoda, who gave her a small wave, and with renewed confidence, Nadia continued forward into the night.

Despite wanting to leave the conversation at that, Kalder felt the need to address the other topic Beatrice and Noel had so viciously discussed. Honestly, it had come off to him as a complete surprise. He had been convinced that she had hated him entirely, although the more he thought about it, the more it explained her more recent behavior. Her quick acceptance of his apology, her willingness to help him, her sudden eagerness to spend time with him. She had been honest with him before, so he was somewhat comfortable with asking her about it.
Inhaling and hoping it wouldn't make things awkward (an optimistic hope of his) Kalder would look at Beatrice once more. Her light eyes watched his, slightly nervous, though she didn't look away. "I wonder how you could possibly have anything other than disgust for someone like me," He said, frowning. "I don't get it."
That seemed to be enough for her to break eye contact with him, her cheeks flushing red for a moment before she scowled at him. "Way to get straight to the point," She couldn't help but grumble.
"I'm serious," He assured her. "You know how I am. You know what happened between Demi and I. You know about my engagement. And even then, you still...?"
She nodded slowly, her eyes to the ground as they walked. "It sounds silly when you put it that way."
"I'm just trying to understand," He said, stopping in his tracks. "Tell me."
Beatrice's tracks would also come to a halt as she turned around to face him, planting her feet on the ground. "Well...I liked who you used to be. I liked the boy who showed me around, the one who took his time to explain the wizarding world and its rules to me. I don't think I can forget that kindness...I think even after you changed I kept hoping you'd go back to the way you were."
Her explanation only served to confuse him further. Shaking his head, Kalder let out a sigh. How was he supposed to respond to that? "That's not how I am now, though."
"I know. But I like how you are right now, too."
Kalder couldn't wrap his head around it. The way she looked at him was so genuine, even a little hopeful. What was she expecting him to say? Did she want him to say anything at all? He searched her face for an answer, but maybe it was just as Noel had said. Would she help him get over Demi? Was it even possible? If Demi had moved on, then so could he, right? At the same time, it wouldn't be fair to Beatrice; she would essentially be his rebound. But she knew that, didn't she? Or maybe he was just overthinking things and had simply misunderstood everything.
His mind seemed to spin from the numerous thoughts piling onto themselves in his head. Kalder was so unsure of what to do or say next, but as he looked at the blonde haired girl, he felt he needed to say something. Anything.
"I see," was all he could muster, despite the numerous other choices.
Beatrice didn't seem to mind. "I'm just happy to get the chance to spend time with you," She said. "I'll see you tomorrow?"
What a simple thought. He would nod in confirmation, a small smile on his face as she waved and turned to continue on. Maybe it would be alright to indulge himself. His smile quickly dropped as he noticed Demi and Luke. He looked at Demi for a moment, but instead of lingering he simply turned around and walked the opposite direction. Funny how she would always turn up in every corner of his life. He wanted it to be a sign of things to come, that maybe they still had a chance. But that seemed less and less likely as more time passed.
The girl introduced herself as Aquarius Haifisch, and she was a talker. Or at the very least, was comfortable enough to hold a conversation, as shortly after introducing herself, she decided to segue into another topic. Aquarius was rather observant, correctly assuming Aurelia wasn't from Vale and going so far as guessing her country of origin. Was it that obvious? That thought was, once again, correctly guessed as Aquarius would point out how traditional she was. It was all said very quickly, Aurelia had to take a second to make sure she took all her words in. Sure, she wanted to be more open with people, but she had hoped to ease into it; Aquarius was metaphorically approaching her stone wall with a cannon for all intents and purposes.
"Yes, I am from Mistral," Aurelia decided to admit. "My father disapproves of Atlas' ways of educating their students. And Haven has...too many familiar faces..." Tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear, she decided not to press on Haven, choosing to steer the conversation another way. "I suppose it may sound odd to you, but seeing the world and all it has to offer is one of my aspirations. Why not begin by seeing another country entirely?"
I assumed the other team would end up being XAKA (pronounced Zaka, like the rescue organization) but XAAK also sounds like 'Zack' which could work, too?
You know what I mean, damn it To properly explain myself, I should have said "don't just tell, show it", as it's pretty common to just HEAR about how mysterious and deep a character is, but never actually see an example as the story goes on.
