Sonny's expression didn't go unnoticed, Nadia feeling her face flush with heat as he took her hand. He actually wanted to dance! She was...actually, mostly surprised, she was so sure that he wasn't going to agree since he didn't seem like the type to dance. There was no hiding her giddiness, the girl smiling happily until they came to a halt. Julie MacMillan and Andres De La Fuente had approached them--or was it the other way around? Shit, she couldn't remember, she had been so wrapped up with the look on Sonny's face that she had completely lost all focus.

At the mention of Julie being his third favorite, she couldn't help but wonder where she placed on that list. Well, maybe second place wasn't so bad? It was actually rather flattering, but once again she spaced out thinking about that and missed the conversation, tuning in just in time for Julie to show them something on her phone. Oh, Julie and Sonny were friends? Or...were? God, she needed to pay better attention, Sonny was getting her all flustered!

Exhaling, Nadia wouldn't comment on the picture, deciding to look elsewhere. Whether by coincidence or dumb luck, she spotted Kavi once again. It looked like he was dancing with April Foster. She wondered why he ended up ghosting her, she never did get an answer to why he suddenly stopped texting her. It was a shame, she thought they were getting along well enough. Her eyebrows shot up as she noticed him giving April a kiss on the cheek, and it suddenly made sense why.

Annoyed, she turned back to Sonny and Julie. "Um, excuse me for just a second, I um...need to talk to someone," She apologized, squeezing Sonny's hand before letting go. Walking with purpose, she managed to intercept Kavi, tapping him on the shoulder a little harder than she probably should have. "So, you ditch me for someone else and don't even give a 'sorry it's not working out' text?" She asked him, clearly irritated.

The pounding beat of the music matched the one in Victoire's head, much to her dismay. Why was she so stressed out over a stupid dance? By whatever miracle of the Lord himself, Jun was nowhere to be found, so at least she didn't have to deal with him. His absence was suspicious but welcomed, though she would make sure she didn't get dragged down with him if he ended up ditching. She did her part, she showed up, if he decided he had something better to do then that wasn't her fault. Nothing was on fire, no fights had broken out, she was pretty sure the punch had long since gotten spiked but that wasn't her problem.

Now, if she could just find some aspirin, she could actually call the night a success.

Deciding to find her girl and hope she had some, Victoire navigated the floor cautiously. God, everything was just so loud. Spotting the familiar blonde, she unceremoniously shoved someone out of the way as she hurried towards her.

"Thank God," She sighed in relief, tapping Mara's shoulder with a bit of urgency. "Please tell me you have Advil or Tylenol or a hammer to bash my head in with."

In spite of the numerous leaks I've somehow managed to come out unscathed, I'm ready to embrace Kingdom Hearts 3 and it will feel so cathartic. Super hype for it.

The siren in the distance caused Lilie to jolt awake, the girl momentarily confused by the darkness around her and her somewhat restricted movement. After comically wrestling for a moment, she was still as she groggily tried to figure out what was going on. The last thing she recalled was needing to have a seat. She was tired from--no, that wasn't right. She was exhausted from trying to stay up all night, but the reason she had fallen asleep was because of the feeding. The rather...intimate process had made her feel so odd, relaxing her unwillingly. But the way Mariette had held her close brought color to her face now, the girl having to shake her head to clear those thoughts out as she tried to figure out what was going on.

Resisting the urge back to sleep, Lilie slowly untangled herself from the sheets and stifled a yawn. Bringing out her phone, she winced slightly at the brightness, waiting for it to adjust before opening her eyes again. She had thought the sound that had woken her up had been her phone, but all she had was a pop up notification from a magazine she had subscribed to. It showed two men, one blonde and one dark haired, with the title "Hottest of the Hot." If she recalled correctly, the blonde was the lead of a movie called Sunset she had seen before coming to the Academy, and the other was a singer whose recent hit All The Way had been playing all over the radios. No contest in her opinion, she thought the blonde was hotter.

Realizing that she had gotten distracted by her phone, she pocketed it once more before tossing the sheets off of her, standing with wobbly legs. She didn't know if it was that bizarre feeling or the very strong urge to collapse back into bed, but either way she had a little trouble getting to her door. She needed to find the source of the noise; it sounded like bad news, and the last time she had heard a siren had ended with a very angry vampire approaching her. Stumbling into the hallway, she was surprised to find things quiet. Had Mariette retired to her room?

After taking a second to rub her eyes, Lilie went to the living room, pushing aside the curtains to see if anything was happening outside. And boy, was it ever: cars, vampires, a gathering that reminded her too much of her own arrest. Watching carefully, she recognized one of the vampires as Aaron's instructor. Lucan, she had seen him in the arena. She didn't recognize anyone else, albeit she did see Cassandra there. Everyone else was certainly a vampire, though they moved on Lucan's orders. Oh no, what happened?

Watching one vampire step out of a car dressed different than the rest, Lilie bit her lip as she noticed the weapon she carried. She must have been the one in charge, there was this terrifying air of authority around her. Even if she couldn't quite make out what was being said, her words were sharp and any orders she had were carried out immediately. She certainly looked terrifying as well, leading Lilie to wonder once again what the heck was going on.

Leaving the window for the moment, then white haired girl wondered if Mariette knew more than she did. Hesitating for a second, she recalled their rather odd conversation, pondering if it was a good idea to ask. Deciding to find out, she cautiously approached her bedroom door, knocking hurriedly.

"Countess?" She called out. "Are you awake? There's something going on outside."

Personal Dossier

Name
Ophelia Calliope Lorelei

Age
25

Gender
Female

Classification
Second in line to the House of Lorelei, future queen consort

Appearance
Standing at a slightly above average height of five feet seven inches, Ophelia's most notable trait is her red hair; long, fiery, and in waves, it easily sweeps past her shoulders, the color often being the first thing people notice about her. She has pale skin and sports a thin, willowy frame with long limbs and few ample curves. Her large, crystalline blue eyes combined her long nose and lips give her an elegant loo, her grace carried in her movements.

While she is usually dressed in a variety of clothes fit for royalty, there are two pieces that are usually consistent: a golden necklace adorned with two white topaz bezel jewels and a larger third, tear shaped crystal that she is never seen without, and the occasionally seen golden circlet that matches the same jewels on her necklace, usually reserved for formal events or occasions that require extensive magic use.

Personality
A seemingly demure young woman, around the manor Ophelia certainly plays the part of dutiful daughter well. She is graceful, kind, and polite, always carrying an air of authority and dignity as she was raised. Of course, having been stuck in her home for so long as a child made her restless, adding an endless curiosity that can never quite be quenched by the thousands of books in the library. One would think this would leave her reclusive, but instead it has led her to have a lack of reaction to situations that would often trouble or surprise others. It takes a lot to completely shock her, and even then her reaction is rather subdued all things considered. Her upbringing has also left her quite opinionated, if only because few servants had the gall to tell Theophilus' favorite grandchild what she couldn't say. She is rather direct as a result, bluntly giving people a piece of her mind whether they want it or not.

Having very little to do outside her studies has left Ophelia as a rather talented and knowledgeable woman. She does tend to sulk if things don't go her way, often voicing her displeasure. Overall she tries to hide a rather lonely side, feeling left out of the happenings around the decisions surrounding her life. Behind closed doors lies a woman who just wants to read all day, fascinated by the world of magic and wanting nothing more than to devote her life to it.

Talents & Affinities

Mundane Abilities
Archery
Her longest running hobby, she finds archery to be on the boring side of things, but it was a great excuse to get out, so she kept up the practice. Her aim is exceptional, able to hit her targets while moving with ease. She used to love practicing while riding a horse, though after falling off once, her mother forbade it and she was relegated to practicing it on the ground.

mundane numah 2

Chess Master
Despite her claims that she isn't much of a tactician, she does enjoy a good game of chess.

Magical Abilities
Ophelia's magic is seemingly boundless, using her imagination to extend it beyond the reach of what she has studied. She clearly inherited her grandfather's aptitude, finding magic both a comfort and an escape. Initially dismissed as a master of none, as time passed she was proven instead to be a jack of all trades. Her most known trait is 'silent casting', often needing little time to prepare a spell and able to cast without need for incantation.

"Wow...!"

Nadia had to admit that she fell in love with the atmosphere of the place. A good number of people had slowly piled in, some alone, some with friends, but all trying to match their paired partners. But she loved the numerous lights, feeling like she was surrounded by stars. A little cheesy, yeah, but it got her excited, returning greetings and compliments that she was given. The food in her stomach probably added to her good mood, and she had to admit that she hadn't fully noticed that she had taken Sonny's hand in hers. Everything was just so nice and warm and charming, she just liked everything right now. Nothing wrong with being in a good mood, right?

Before she could ask Sonny what he wanted to do first, she found herself being pulled away. She had been so drawn into everything that she had missed his question entirely, simply blinking her green eyes at him. Shoot, hopefully it wasn't anything important. Luck seemed to be on her side, though, as he seemed apologetic for taking her away from the music. Ironically she wasn't much for music, she just listened to whatever but had no actual opinion on anything.

At his question, however, she lit up considerably, nodding enthusiastically. She hesitated for a second, wondering if that had been what he was talking about before. "Um, sure, if you want," She decided to put it in his court, just in case he didn't want to. She was fine just talking if he wanted, her grip on his hand a little softer as she wanted to let him know she was fine with whatever.

Taking over galaxies

+1

If we had someone with a lot of time on their hands willing, there could be a dedicated lorekeeper for it later on if anyone wanted to write the summary similar to that like a wiki page, though that might be asking a bit too much.

It'll help my eventual conquest of the galaxy if I know what's going on everywhere.
