Haitani was fathered by one of the most successful Sarutobi/Jounin to ever grace Konoha, a legacy that Haitani had always been forced to live up to. The youngest child in his family, Haitani was faced with the legacy of his brother Hashi "The Thunderfist", and his sister Haitomi "Lifegiver". In a time before the winter the legacy was not so highly enforced and Haitani was mostly trained by his elder brother due to his parents being poor health. He would only get three more years with his parents before the winter would take them.

During the three years that he got with his parents during the winter, they treated Haitani with such kindness and love in hopes foster his happy personality; to keep the hope alive within him that his brother seemed to lack. Their son would not be an elitist who couldn't hold a conversation without having to prove something to someone. It would also be their deaths that hurt him the most. It never stopped him from achieving and fighting in their name. It took several years before Haitani was truly recognized as an extraordinary shinobi but with three years as a chunin under his belt, he's ready to ascend even higher. The winter won't stop him now.

His fear is of letting the Sarutobi Clan down and losing what little family he has left. It's a fear many have but Haitani can't sleep at night at the mere thought of anyone else dying.

A monster in the areas of endurance and stamina, Haitani can fight an hour before finally tiring out. Extensive training in his taijutsu has brought forth his hidden potential as an expert in hand to hand combat. The preferred method of fighting a defensive style that opens up his opponents to his nin-taijutsu. Holds, slams, and locks are a specialty but Haitani is no stranger to aggressive and agile styles of combat to forgo his stalwart style. As side training, Haitani has become extremely proficient at using kunai as daggers.

Steel Release - Handless Hiden!

Allows anyone born with this – a trait that's been foud in the past three generations of Ira's generation, to cover parts, or their whole body in a black metal of varying hardyness depending on the amount of chakra used. The Sarutobi's train using a Hidden Technique to be able to use their release to coat their bodies without the use of handseals, but at a rather steep price in Chakra and physical strain.

Ｓｔｒｅｎｇｔｈｓ

A master's metal's nigh-indestructible, able to withstand even the sharpest of blades. Tani has taken the liking to using his Steel Release to coat various parts of his body for offense and defense. An expert in steel release, he has crafted many steel jutsu to utilize in conjunction with his taijutsu.

Ｗｅａｋｎｅｓｓｅｓ

Haitani carries the moniker of defense is your greatest offense which puts him at risk against opponents he must chase. Many issues arise when his opponent dictates the fight instead of the other way around. Another problem being he has no long range jutsu making anyone with the stamina and range able to do damage to him before he could even touch his opponent. Even with the experience he has gathered, Haitani is still only a chunin and prone to make mistakes especially against more experienced shinobi.

His metal is also highly conductive, so lightning or prolonged exposure to fire jutsu are both very useful at defeating him, turning his strengths into weaknesses.

The user coats their arm in metal and creates a piston-like attachment around it. Depending on the chakra level of the user and the hardness and durability of the metal, this technique has a variety of uses. When used as a taijutsu measure, the user can punch the opponent with the end of the piston and use their chakra to force a second mechanism into the piston and hit the target with a second, harder impact. Also, if the user hits the ground with the piston, the second blow and cause a miniquake that can result in damage to the surrounding area. However, the piston is usually very heavy, so caution and precise timing must be used when utilizing it.

He can also use the piston to act as a launcher, firing a rock or other objects at the opponent. The objects lose force and power after several feet.

Steel Release: Blade Warfare allows the user to transform his or her arms or legs into strong tempered steel blades. The transformation is almost instantaneous and can be dispelled in a like manner. The blades themselves are the same size as the arm and the point of the sword lies a feel inches above the middle finger when it is fully stretched out. The user can alter the blade in size, width, sharpness, and curvature of the blade. However, the user cannot alter the shape of the blade. It most cases, the blade forms directly below the elbow thus allowing the user to use the elbow joint to move the blade. The user, however, can cause the steel blade to grow closer to the hand. However, this shortens the blades length. The steel blade itself is fairly strong but can be broken by a stronger weapon or jutsu.

This technique does not cure or alter previous injuries or deformities. If the blade itself breaks or chips, it counts as an injury to the user. However, due to the durability and strength of steel compared to flesh, this technique is much useful with countering another sword compared to a bare arm. If the user transforms his or her legs into swords, they are unable to walk or run while in this state. As well, they are unable to hold tools, make hand signs, or grab while their arms are transformed as well. This technique is best used within a high speed fight where the user must activate/deactivate this jutsu quickly.

The user creates metallic chains underground and then unleashes them towards their target. Depending on what the user wants to do, the chains can bind their target down and lock them in place. Since the chains are part of the steel release, it is incredibly difficult to be released from the chains by force. The user can also tighten the chain around the target, injuring or slowly crushing them.

The user manipulates pre-existing metal around them to form a complex drill over their arm from elbow to finger and a short distance beyond. The drill has different parts that spin at different speeds and in different revolutions. This enables the drill to deal progressive and severe damage upon impact, mostly starting with piercing. This technique is a great assassination and execution technique. It can also break an opponent's guard. The drill can be left not spinning to use as a simple spear. The only downside is that the drill weighs at least thirty pounds, making it somewhat heavy.

Simple and effective, this technique forms claw-like razor blades on the inside of the user's fingers. Before His Birth – 0

Kaido was born to Ichigo and Aru, Ichigo, his father a Uchiha, and Aru a member of the main family of the Hyuuga clan. It wasn't a romantic run away, or a fleeing from the prejudice of their clans kind of marriage Ichigo and Aru had, it was the forced kind. If they did not concieve a child, and make a family, war would be raged between the Uchiha and the Hyuuga – and by extension the Hiddne Leaf. It bothered Ichigo a lot, as he knew that if he couldn't keep his family together, it would mean the exterminatin of his clan.

Childhood ; 1 – 9

His childhood, despite his rather odd circumstances for his birth, was relatively normal. He was included a fair bit into both the Uchiha, and the Hyuuga, not enough to know any secrets, but enough to feel like he had two families, not something often found in children of his circumstance. He was a very happy child, giggly and full of life and joy. He smiled and he played a lot, not a worry in the world. He joined the Academy at 8, like most children did.

Genin years; 12 – 15

He earned renown as a genin for his bloodline, being of two mighty clans of Konoha made him both an asset and a target, most people tried to chat him up, to make friends with him, in hope of getting on the good side of either the Uchiha or the Hyuuga. Due to his sucking up of his peers, Kaido never really had any real friends in this age.

The mission that changed it all; 16

As a 16 year old, in the early years of the winter, during the war, following the attack of Kumo and Kiri on Konoha, and the second Hokage stepping in, war between the nations erupted. During a mission to Kiri, Kaido's squad was annihalated in an ambush, leaving only him and one ally alive, to fend for themselves against the Mist Shinobi. His ally was a jonn of the Sarutobi Clan, and thanks to his superiors great strength, the two managed to return back from the warzone unscathed.

Almost.

Returning after seeing the slaughter, Kaido was somewhat changed. He didn't have that aura of happiness around him anymore, he was a bit more cynical, angrier, and a lot more violent, more willing to pick fights and more bloodthirsty, looking to get back onto the battlefield as soon as possible.

Jonin at last; 18 – 21

Reaching one of the highest ranks in the military, Kaido had made himself a pride for both the Hyuuga and the Uchiha – sporting each's insignia on his shoulders, yet calling himself Uchiha with the mark on his back. He was a savage warrior, a brilliant duelist and a excellent tactician, capable of executing entire squad-missions on his own, using his keen mind and his sharp intellect, his skil lcould no longer be denied and he earned the recognition he deserved.

Hokage – 22
Having staved off a war between the Leaf and the Uchiha, while being a powerful warrior, and a skilled combatant, a brilliant leader and a wonderful strategist, Kaido put his bid on becoming the next Hokage, when the second stepped down, at the end of the winter. He had been critical of Kishimoto remaining the commander in cheif ever since his injuries, and was close to winning the vote, missing out with just one vote. The consensus was that he lacked the expercience Mawari has.

Leader of Team 2
Having just lost out on the Hokage election, Kaido was crushed for a while. But he did not give up hope, he was offered a position as a commander in the Anbu, but he rejected it, following in the footsteps of the second Hokage, he became a team leader, teaching the younger shinobi the way of the Halfblood.

Hyuuga and the Uchiha were at the brink of war some 30 years ago, a war that, while it would not have been a contest between the two clans - the white eyes would win without a doubt, it was not in the best interest of the Hidden Leaf Village to wage war against the Uchiha, so instead, a marriage and a deal was made.

Water Style Specialist, while his biggest talent lies in Ninjutsu, his countless hours of sparring with Hyuuga and Uchiha alike has made him talented in Genjutsu and Taijutsu as well, a jack of all trades. Following his near death experience in the hidden mist, he picked up the Silent Killing technique, that he's employing fully in his own battle, sneaking up on opponents and taking them out before they know that hit them. I'm surprised we haven't got any of the other clans of Naruto, the Naras, Akimichi, Aburame, Inuzuka and the other supplementary clans that haven't been picked out yet. I wonder how the Aburame clan would do in a winter climate with their bugs. The Inuzaka would could benefit from it, getting more uses with their dogs. The groups that are sort of just filler groups in Naruto.

Here's a shitty image of it all. It's often referred to in Eastern medicine. It's kinda simple, Wood is kindling for Fire and grows from Water. Wood is also cut down by Metal as one cycle explains.

The elements are also represented by four holy creatures and the Jade Emperor and have a dominion over a particular area: Xuanwu (Genbu in Japanese) is the Black Turtle of North and is Water and is often also portrayed with a snake. Bai Hu (Byakko in Japanese) is the White Tiger of the West and is Metal. Zhu Que (Suzaku in Japanese) is the Vermillion Bird of the South and is Fire. Qīng Lóng (Seiryu in Japanese) is the Azure Dragon of the East and is Wood.

Finally there is Earth and that is associated with the Jade Emperor and he is the center.

I was surprised that Naruto didn't go for the 'traditional' five element structure of Water, Fire, Earth, Metal and Wood. But I guess they don't have as much fun with combinations :P

I'm doing my marathon on old Naruto RPs for a good read and see it dying. SO far, I saw none. Guild wise.

Yeah, plenty. Every RP me and buddha's been in (Or whtever his name's been) had at least someone playing something decently. We tend to surround ourselves with good people, so, I'd start there. Don't really have any specifics come to mind, though.
