Aegis War [Chapter One - Identity]

@6slyboy6I will take that as feedback, and I will keep the mystery factor. It will be known OOC to us who they are because I will be giving everyone a full and complete CS. There is no other way to do it with the setting that will be presented.

However, as I know I cannot please everyone, I am just going to submit my idea and if I have people fall off and different people join, then whatever. I do not care about numbers or the opinion of someone who probably wouldn't be dedicated to stick around and contribute to the game. I solely care about people enjoying my game and just bringing some interesting stories to make it enjoyable for us all.

@6slyboy6This isn't a super hero game. It is definitely not running that way. The changes that are being made are:

1. I am introducing the open world for the map so that everyone can reference it.

2. Characters will know their identity, they will remember their past lives, but they won't understand the world that they have suddenly arrived in.

3. Introducing some lore about Alta that can be read in the introduction.

4. Characters will be involved in John Adams, Boston Tea Party liberation army to free the slaves in this one country you will see when I present the map. Chaos will happen that will fragment the group from The Founding Fathers, and basically, the group's journey will officially begin from there. That's when the story will become what we make of it.

I am not one of those lazy GMs who try to let the writers run the game for me in a sandbox. I allow players to sandbox but not in complete anarchy because I will throw in special villainous encounters that have important plot significance (there is a major enemy but the characters will learn that gradually as they see his negative influence). I just need people dedicated and liking the idea. I can only do so much. People need to like their characters.

I am going to PM some people to see if they're going to stick around for the revamp.

@6slyboy6This almost sounds like a troll because you're over thinking these abilities. It basically means do not manipulate time in an unnatural way and do not play with dimension powers/magic.
As for matter, it literally means "matter." I've seen people just write, manipulate matter as a power, which is very broad (and an excuse to manipulate everything apparently). So it is not allowed.

Earth magic if you're just manipulating rock is not on the banned list. So it is doable.

This game idea is also being revamped because a lot of the players when we first started ran into a wall on character introductions lol. I mean, you can still submit your idea to the thread, but it's about to become a more open-world game. It would have been eventually but I'm just going to jump straight to it.

I was already world-building last weekend, so I should have the revamped version of this game up today after I finish work. :)

Fenrir-O’s hackles raised uncomfortably when he heard the laugh. His ice-blue eye motioned over to where the severed head laid. It was no surprise that the machine was still functioning—it was a machine and not alive after all.

Did you honestly think…I’d only have one bot in waiting? I wonder, how is the clown and that doctor doing…in that clinic, ey furball?

The Beastman’s muzzle parted as he bore his teeth in a snarl. Had he been fooled? Had he followed a decoy signature created by the head to hide where the real threat had been? In a blur, Fenrir-O moved so fast that he had appeared to have warped over to the Zufuzo head and crushed it under his footpaw. His one eye was shrunk bestially in his anger and worry.

Fusune! (and the clown) Fenrir-O thought in dread before he turned to run to the edge of The Lookout and spring back into the air. In a flash of white ki, the wolf took off like a comet back toward the village. He had to reach them! He couldn’t be too late. He just can’t!

Fusune jumped when she heard the explosion and ceased her sewing to glance toward the door of the patient room. She stared like a deer in headlights and her eyes lowered to the blood that started seeping through the door. Dropping the needle, she backed into the wall behind her in fright. Her hand went to her face to stifle a horrified gasp. The door opened and the sight of the young innocent child reduced to slaughtered meat affected her conscience in a way that she didn’t think she’d ever experience. She started screaming, backing into the wall as though it hadn’t been solid.

I’ll make it so you both die…You quickly, him slowly…

“NO, PLEASE!” she cried. She hid behind her arms as though the sight of the blood-covered doctor had been an assault all of its own.

His actions in the past and even now deserved the wrath of every sturdy splinter that comprised his hammer……he might have saved the world once, but it was only because the world was in danger that they shared a common goal. Bowser was still Bowser. Resting the mallet on the ground, Mario crossed his hands over the pummel and leaned upon it, listening to Bowser’s explanation.

So here I was…Just cruisin’ along the Mushroom Kingdom on my sweet ride to go and meet the Princess right?

Mario spat, “Pft! You must think me an idiot if I’m gonna believe that, Goomba Shit. The entire kingdom knows about your sick kidnappin’ fetish.”

He then muttered under his breath, Just about as bad as shy girl’s kleptomania…

The scream part was true. The whole kingdom must had heard it.

Stroking his thick manly moustache in thought, Mario mused over what Bowser had said so far about the enemy resembling Count Bleck. Could they have been related?

His hand then moved to his head as he reached beneath his red cap to scratch his scalp.

“Do you think Count Bleck and Timpani might have…had a kid before they gone went off and saved the world?”

Hm...Well, we can still go through with this. I just really thought people lost motivation at the beginning because of how long it took everyone to produce an introductory post.

I had another person just PM me not too long ago with an interest.

I have been designing an open-world concept for this game, but it has led to some really in-depth details that would have it be in the Advanced section.

Fenrir-O learned that the cat was a bean farmer, which wasn’t much. Their enemies were called Saiyans, and they were possibly a well-known problem as though Korin had encountered them before. After the cat shared with them what he knew, Fenrir-O glanced over at the anxious Beastman. He agreed with him about needing more information about the Saiyans, but he didn’t agree with his claim about the other power signatures in the area.

“I do not naively declare myself friends with a stranger just because an energy signature is similar to my own. Sometimes patience is the best strategy and knowledge the best weapon. We are indeed underpowered compared to our enemies, and they can easily destroy each of us individually if we do not come together as a unit,” Fenrir-O reasoned.

His blue and pearl eyes returned to Korin as he asked, “Mister Korin, where are these strong friends of yours now? Can you sense them? Do they stand a chance against the Saiyans?”
