I think so, at least. It was nothing extravagant, but he worked hard. He had the worst luck, though.

He said he wanted to provide for his family himself or something. Uncle Strife never married and didn't have any kids, so I guess that was a bit lost on him.

It does. Man, my uncle's rich from being a doctor and he's still paying off his debt from medical school.
Uncle Strife made some good investments, so we never really had to worry about money. My dad would never accept help from him though.
