How much space is in the net?
That's a tough call. I'd say at least as big as the real world in terms of area, but we have no real way to measure the size of things like private servers, the Undernet, and the Underground. Plus, physical space here isn't exactly fixed.

Purple just means it's locked. You can buy really cheap unlocking tools, but since you don't know what you're going to get, it's a bit of a gamble. Usually good though. If you see a green one that's almost as tall as you, that's means it's probably very good but there's a virus nearby. You won't see those near any hubs.

Over to your left is a netbattle arena. Netops and navis are always competing to see who can be the best team out there. If you see a big spinning green rhombus, take it because you just earned some money or a chip. If you see a blue one, absolutely take it because you found something rare. If you see a purple one, let me know.
