Do they serve a practical purpose? Do they help you train and get stronger or something?
If you buy the cheap knockoffs, they can just decimate your code. But if you invest into some nice ones, they limit your overall strength so you have to rely on your skill and whatever remaining power you have left.

At least it's not completely without challenges. Serenade and Mega are pretty good, and Bass is just like us. With high enough limiters, you don't get lazy; the good ones are really expensive though.

It means Bass gave us samples that we figured out how to combine with navi code, so we can merge with the Beasts' data like they can. It's not an identical match, but pros and cons.

Nope; they were absorbed into two different navis. Dad got a sample though, so we reverse engineered them.

You flatter me. What this place is really famous for is the Cyberbeasts. Two massive creatures that were locked away down here but escaped into the net and almost destroyed the world. Imagine almost launching a nuke but avoiding it.
