An old abandoned hospital in Milledgeville, GA is the sanctuary for our characters. At least, at first. It all started when everything went down. People died and people came back. Military started shooting up the living. It was weird, really. How the group met up. Getting stuck on the road out of town, only to find that they had no where to hide. Eventually, a group formed out of the small number that decided to stick together, tough it out together. Some of the members were familiar with combat and weapons and knew where to get more. Soon, they had an RV and were on the road, headed out of Macon. They'd heard about Atlanta, but figured it was overrun when they noticed the explosions. They'd planned to go to Fort Benning but they'd heard about that too. Now, they're just trying to find somewhere decent to stay. They find themselves in Milledgeville, GA. And, at first, lodge themselves up in the old Central State. That is, until someone brings up the college. Surely there must be supplies, maybe even survivors up there.

The RP will start as they find Central State. They'll probably stay there a few days before someone mentions the College, GC&SU. They may even eventually try for UGA to see if it's any better if GC&SU gets over run. [I'm actually seeing them holing up at UGA for awhile, living in the dorms, blocking of an apartment complex, etc while trying to find a more permanent place to stay.

As for an antagonist, I'm thinking we could have a rival group lead by someone similar to the Governor of the series. However, this man has not lost a daughter or a wife. In fact, he never got married. He's actually a murderer, though no one in his group knows it. He is pretty charismatic and pretty good and making people see things the way he wants them to. His plans are simply to become ruler of this new era. Anyone who stands in his way, will die, Walker or otherwise. We'll see where that goes.

Since we'll be starting the RP after the group has met, we should decide what sort of relations we have between group members. Are some of them related by blood? As close as family? Or just mere acquaintances? This can be edited once all CSs have been accepted.

Rules

1) Save the drama for your momma. I will kick people out of the RP for continued disrespect, no matter how integral your character becomes.
2) ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS have the best interest of the RP at all times. Be mindful of the posts you make and how they affect the RP over-all. There should always be forward momentum in the story, be sure to be aware of that.
3) Two characters per person, though you do not need to play that many.
4) Follow basic RPG rules. If you don't know them, PM me. Otherwise, I'll assume you know them.
5) If you have a plan for something to happen, run it by the GM first. Let them decide whether or not to implement the idea. It might be cool, but as GM, I want to know what's going to happen before it happens.
6) That being said, if you have a secret your keeping from the RP group for a surprise, let the GM know in PM what that is. Your GM doesn't like surprises.
7) If you've read the rules, please post your favorite video game character!
8) Have fun! If it ain't fun, why are you doing it?

P.S. Posting and/or making a CS does not guarantee you a slot. I will look over all submitted CSs and accept the ones that seem to have had some thought put into them, ones that weren't just slapped together. I probably won't tell you what to fix unless it's just a little thing that can be changed pretty easily. Sorry, but that's how I'm going to handle it this time. :)

If you can get some interest and start it up, I'd be kosher with joining up. I do have a question though. Well, probably multiple.

What types of pictures will we be using? I like to conform all of the characters' images so that they are all either real or drawn (anime or otherwise). It doesn't particularly matter to me, I was just wondering.

Also once college starts back up for me, I'll probably end up dropping the RP regardless. Just a heads up before that even happens. (Hey, at least I didn't lie and say that I would try. I just... I know that I won't be able to, so ye.)

Walkers [Walking Dead Fandom-Based RP]

Alrighty!

This may or may not be a huge post so bare with me while I get my thoughts together... >.>

SO. I've been wanting a Walking Dead inspired RP. I'm watching the show for my second time because well, it's summer and I'm bored. Before I get started with possible ideas of any kind, I want to get some expectations out first and foremost.

- Casual. This means at least a paragraph or two. I'm not asking for perfection, but I am asking for decent grammar and the ability to read an RP. And, I don't mean just 'read' it I mean READ it. The ability to know when what you posts matters and how to keep the RP flowing. This means, not creating stalls in the RP. I don't know. Just keep the RP as a whole in mind when creating a character and when doing actions with your character. This a group RP, not your fanfiction.

- Small Group. I want no more than 5 people on this RP. I will accept no more than that. I will not run on a first come first serve basis. I will run on a 'best CS for the RP first come, first serve.' As in, I want to see quality CSs come in in which the RPer has put considerable thought and care into making for this RP. Any are welcome to help create the RP, but I cannot promise a slot simply for helping create the plotline. Sorry.

- RESPECT. It's my biggest rule, ever. Break it and you're out faster than you can say, 'Whoops.' I won't tolerate disrespect. Always handle any discussions with other RPers with the utmost care. Never assume you are better or know more than someone. Politely let them know if they've done something that you don't agree with. No accusing, CAPS DOMINANCE bullshit. Respect each other. It's not hard.

- Gore. It's going to happen. Follow RPG rules and don't describe graphic scenes in too much detail. Sometimes it can be even more scary when details are left blank and the reader has to imagine what happened. I know most of us can describe a graphic scene very well and make it sound really cool, but that's not following the rules. Keep it PG-13 in any case, sex, gore, drugs, or otherwise.

But that can be figured out later.

@HeartlessNobody It's fine. Just try to get us some warning before hand next time. I know that can be hard if things happen very suddenly. We try very hard to move on without undermining you or leaving you behind too much. :)

Also, I'm working on another possible character. She may show up in the future, near or far. But, probably far. She'll either appear along the journey or she'll be a next gen Athalia student. I haven't decided yet. But she's already been drawn because well... I felt like drawing.

Her eyes shot open as something flew past, landing just inches away from her. She was just about to reach for the door as well. She blinked, looking over to the fellow on the ground and a small smile grew on her face.

Looks like they're getting along alright.

She chuckled and sent a small spell over to the boy as an attempt to heal him. Any attempts on Maria's part at trying to help him would probably just end in a lose of pride for him so she'd let him lick his own wounds for the most part and come back in when he decided to. Through the now broken door, Maria stuck her head in just in time to hear a loud and commanding voice speak up, shouting. Again, a smile crept onto Maria's face. Her eyes were blood shot from tears but a few spells had quickly fixed that so it appeared as though she was perfectly okay. She'd already let Criston see, which was a big mistake on her part.

"Well, well, Ms. Miller. I could not have said it better myself. Whatever it was you were commenting on." Maria spoke, chuckling. She shifted her position just slightly so that Vikki would not walk into her as she walked backwards. She looked in and waved at those she recognized and when she realized everyone wasn't there, she turned to Vikki. "It seems we'll need to locate the last of our group." She told her, grinning as she walked back outside.

She whispered a few words with her eyes closed and stayed still for a few moments before turning back to the group slowly forming behind her. "There are a few still hanging around in town. I'll go quickly round them up. The rest of you, head for the boat with Ms. Miller. Do as she says. Mostly because I don't know what she'll do if you don't. So... Don't piss her off, kids. She's into some kinky stuff." Maria finished with a wink.

She turned and began walking towards her first grab, which was Zivon.
