Yato sighed, listening to Lux, his expression blank as he looked up from Lux to Maggie and then back down to Lux. "Of course, I'm mad at you." He told her, glaring at her. "You shouldn't do this again. Not everyone is like Ms..." He trailed off, looking up at Maggie.

Just then, Lux interceded, introducing Maggie to him. When she told him the girl had been crying, Yato looked up again and noticed the puffiness to her eyes. His mind was whirling, trying to decide how best to handle this situation.

If the girl was crying, there might be someway Yato could help her in return for keeping Lux a secret. But... what? He hated surprises...

Maggie watched the both of them. She'd noticed Yato's concern for Lux right away. It was obvious that something more was going on between them, she just didn't know what. She tightened her lips slightly and sent Yato an awkward smile. Scratching the side of her neck, she replied, "Maggie Uldrich, of the Urdrich farm." She hated telling people her full name because people always assumed they could push her around.

Knowing how Lux was, Yato chose to ignore Maggie's last name, knowing what kind of family she came from. "What were you crying about, Ms. Uldrich?" He asked, her voice cold and calculating.

"N-Nothing, sir. I was just going to pack up my things. I... I just got fired." She explained, looking away out of embarrassment.

Yato took in a deep breath and closed his eyes. He knew what Lux would want him to do but he also knew that this was going to open a can of worms he didn't really care to touch. Maggie got up and dusted off her dress and began to leave but before she could do so, Yato grabbed her arm, still staring at the mansion, specifically his mother's room.

"That won't be necessary." He told her. Maggie stopped, wide-eyed, and turned to him. "Stay here and become my personal maid. I don't really need a maid, but Lux needs someone to be with her when I can't. Could you do this?" He asked, glancing back at her.

"Y-Yes?" She replied, more of a question than a response.

"You don't sound enthused..." He spoke, his voice smooth, still cold. He glared bullets at her, a slight frown on his face.

"Yessir!" She replied hastily, bowing before him. Moments later, she cleared her throat. "Uhh... Sir? Could you... let me go?" She asked.

Yato coughed and quickly yanked his hand away from her wrist. "Go take Lux back to my room. I need to go see to something." He told her and walked off, sending a quick glance Lux's way. When he remember how she might take this, he turned around and came back, leaning down to talk to her. "Where I'm going, I don't want you to see. So, I need you to stay with Ms. Uld- Maggie... here. Okay? I won't be long." He explained, laying a gentle finger on her head. With that, he was gone.
@FaithsRose Woo! Glad to see it. Feel free to move Bael Bal to the C-Tab. :3
Yato takes care of her? That man? The Ice Prince? Maggie raised a brow, as if she couldn't believe it and tilted her head in confusion when Lux suddenly got very scared and began sobbing. The young girl jerked around with her hands, trying desperately to think of something to get the small creature to stop crying.

"Oh goodness.. What to doo...?" She mumbled, her brow furrowed out of concerned.

Yato, hearing this, decided to step out at this moment. He stood and walked over to Lux and the girl and sighed, bending down next to her. "If you're afraid I'm going to be mad at you, Lux, then you should really listen to what I say." He chided her, shaking his head. He, slowly, put his hand down on her head. He was suddenly rather irritated he couldn't hug her or wipe her tears.

Still, with one finger he steadied her head and with the other, he gently brushed her cheeks.

Maggie, watching this, blushed and turned away as if watching a private interaction, as if she'd intruded on something despite being there first.

@alexfangtalon I'm seeing 11 characters total right now and I'm still expecting a close friend to join, so I'm going to say no for now. Keep an eye out to see if anyone suddenly drops off of the face of the earth as some RPers do. So unless my friend decides he doesn't want to join, I'll have to say no. Sorry. ^^;
Sorry for the double post, but mentions don't work when you edit them in. ^^;

@alexfangtalon Hi? Can I help you? :)
@Filthy Mudblood Of course! Glad to have you along for this one too. :)

A few of your images don't work, but I'm not a stickler on formatting and such (most people like to fix it for their own pleasure anyway) so she's good to go. I'm glad to see a bit of diversity in our characters! ( aside from the abundance of bartenders bound to get them drunk off their asses )
@FaithsRose Not at all! I'll be waiting on DP too unless he tells me otherwise.
We have 9 characters right now which leads us with an uneven number (Easily fixed if someone wanted to just make another character) however I know of a few people that still have yet to post up a character (or comment on the OOC -cough-DP-cough-). One of my friends doesn't have internet currently but will in the next few days so he'll probably be a late addition. Other than that, once we have an even number, we're good.

Keep in mind sexual orientation when adding up numbers. Treat lesbians as males, gays as females, and bisexuals as their own gender.

...ye. :3
@my Lalia Ah! I love her! Feel free to move her over. :)

However, before you do so, I would recommend giving the CS another read through yourself. Just a few very small formatting issues, you'll notice them if you read through it again. Nothing I wouldn't do by accident. Otherwise, very very lovely CS. :D
Lily

Lily smiled, listening to her wife complain about Criston. She wasn't wrong, but Lily still didn't want her to be mad at Criston. He was just being... well.. Criston.

She wanted to add something, but Carmen quickly continued, soundly more and more insulted by it all as she went on. To Carmen this was a matter of pride and justice. She felt deeply wronged and Lily understood that. She'd have to have a chat with Criston later and get him to try and apologize, even if it were a lost cause, they'd just find something else to one-sidedly fight about.

The next outburst was so loud, Lily's eyes went wide. She didn't really feel like right now would be the best time to tell Carmen that not everyone really... cared. Lily sighed, smiling at Carmen as if smiling at a child throwing a temper tantrum.

She shook her head as Carmen relaxed and apologized. "It's fi-" Just as she did, the music cut back on and Lily could literally feel Carmen stiffen and stretch with tension.

She thought for a moment how best to handle this.

She could push her along and get her to go back to their room and sleep it off.

They could 'sleep' it off.

She could kiss Carmen and give her such a shock that Carmen would forget about the whole thing. Actually, no. That wouldn't work...

Lily sighed and thought about Carmen had told her once.

"Nothing's better at relaxing you than a nice glass of wine, Lily."

Nevermind the fact that the Skylark was trying to get Lily drunk, but all the same.

"Carmen..." She began, walking up to face Carmen with a smile. She put her hands on her shoulder and let a warm wash overcome Carmen, suctioning off some of the tension in her muscles. "Besides my uncanny ability to relax anyone at all, I've heard that wine has similar properties. Why don't we go back... and get so drunk that the music doesn't bother us anymore. Besides, eventually everyone will get tired of that horrendous music and demand that Carmen Calandra play for them." She explained, leaning in close to Carmen. "I know that I for one already wish for a original Carmen piece myself." She added, winking at her.

Jason

He let out a frustrated sigh and walked closer to the snake girl. "You must know her. My son told me she was here and I came as fast as I could. She is fairly tall, skinny, with thin, soft black hair. Please." He explained, pleading with her. He completely ignored her question about his identity. He was fully focused on finding his wife.

He stepped a bit closer again and put his hands on her shoulders, his eyes pleading with her when he realized she was wearing sunglasses. "What? Why are you wearing shades?" He asked, stumbling back, still buzzed.

Ayane flinched at the scream of the man she'd thrown Criston into but was more concerned with how he was, so far he hadn't gotten up from where he was flung by the man. She rushed over in a hurry, her dress hindering a longer pace. Halfway over there, she bent down and used her nail to cut the dress so that she could run. (Her nails extend and retract at will, cool mermaid stuff, right?)

She slide to a stop on her knees at Criston, rolling him over. It had almost looked like he was crying but as he was rolled over, the room could see that Criston Cross was laughing his ass off. Her eyes narrowed in confusion and she desperately wanted to ask if he was okay, but was unable. Her brows furrowed as she stared down at him.

Criston kept laughing and slowly, slowly the laughter faded into a small chuckle and a warm smile. "Sorry, Ryuu. I guess Ayane doesn't know her own strength." He told Ryuu, promptly sending him into another fit of laughter. Nevermind the fact that his side hurt like hell from smashing into a wall like Ryuu. Such a small girl like Ayane had flung a man like him into a man like Ryuu. It was actually very humorous. He sat up into a seated position and smiled at Ryuu. "I suppose this as a good a time as any to ask how you are. So... How you doin' Ryuu?" He asked, chuckling.

All the while, Ayane was looking confusedly at Ryuu and then Criston and then Ryuu, as if trying to check if this was normal behavior for the white haired warlock.
