 Whelp, here's where you learn a little bit about me whether you like it or not. Hi! You can call me Effie or ineffable or basically whatever you'd like but welcome to my little corner of the guild! I've been here for about 5 years, starting on my adventure in roleplaying in a free roleplay and moving my way up towards more high casual roleplays, which is what I'm working on right now. You can find me a lot in Slice of Life roleplays and every so often in Fantasy or Sci-fi. As for a little bit about me: I love 80s era movies and music and play an inhumane amount of video games. I am also kind of low key addicted to Dungeons and Dragons and a total bookworm with a favoring towards contemporary fiction. So here's an interest check about making a jump in roleplay based on a kind of mazelike challenge (much like Harry Potter)
My idea is to have multiple teams or single individuals try to finish the maze. In the maze there would be monsters or other fantastical and dangerous elements.
What do you guys think?

Seeing as you're a bit new and@Zihere has given wonderful advice I would advise you to explain and flesh out your world more and expect more from the people that will be joining you in your roleplay. Also if you would like people to explain their characters write out a format for a character sheet. Other than that look at other roleplays and see how that goes.

She gave a swift nod, threw some coins on the counter and then turned her eyes to the man who she had heard through the door. She slipped herself into the seat next to him quickly as if they were old friends and turned to smile. She flicked a strand of her light brown caramel hair out of her face and crossed her legs. She had left her horse tied just inside the door and even though she was sure that she would be kicked out soon her horse was quiet and didn't leave deep traces of mud so she supposed no one would notice.
"So..."She drew out the word.

Alexis trudged outside in the snow, her boots scraping up a mound of snow. Her breath came in white fog clouds which billowed in the air before settling down on the layer of the cold atmosphere. She was dragging a white horse, speckled with brown sluglike snow behind her. The reins were cutting into her palms as she shivered. It was cold out here and she didn't know where she was. Her horse huffed and she turned around.
"Lamma, just a bit more. I'll find you water and everything else that you need." She reached the door of the tavern and knocked on the door softly.
"IS ANYONE IN HERE?" She called through the door.
