Philippe stands at a bit over average height, at 5'10". His posture is usually lax and casual, befitting of his general disposition. His gaze is usually all over the place, unfocused and dull, until and unless you somehow manage to catch his attention. His dirt blonde hair is left to its own devices, allowed to flow freely and rest on his face with only an occasional, indolent swipe upwards to be kept out of his line of sight.

Personality|

Before he met Sarah, Philippe cared alot about the pecking order, the 'cliques'- the jocks, popular kids etc. This extended to his style of clothing, and mincing his words so that the 'popular kids' wouldn't oust him and keep him within their circle. He even did things he himself was not very comfortable with doing. Basically Philippe was a shell of a person, who didn't form his own opinions and just followed the trend, and norms. After meeting and becoming friends with Sarah, he began to really not care for the social hierarchy of the school and disregarded it entirely, going out of his way to stop petty things like bullying- feeling empathy and guilt towards those who couldn't fend for themselves.

To many others who really didn't get to know him, Philippe seemed uncaring and rather lazy. Which was a fair assumption as he seems to, thanks to Sarah's influence, not really care about what other think of him, his personality, clothing, attitude and similar. His actions started to become be fully from his own choosing- as he stopped letting others opinions affect his, although he still takes them into (relatively careful) consideration. This made him feel more like a person than before, forming his own 'identity'

In his highschool days, though he doesn't try to be, he comes off as charismatic and easy to talk too, this is accentuated by his rather naturally free spirited nature, coming off as a guy who seems like he will listen to your troubles with an open ear. This trait was further trained and developed by his past part time job as a Bartender. Furthermore, he openly despised gossip and hearsay, not so much to himself but more towards his friends- antagonizing those that he shouldn't.

One of his most respectable but damning traits is his willingness to help, if he sees an individual in real need he can't help himself to, well, help them. Even the thing that can help them is out of his reach, he will try his damned hardest to do so, even at times being frightfully naive always trying to see the good in even bad situations. In that vein, it is hard to truly anger Philippe. Though others have managed to in the past.

During his youth, Philippe was what one would call a 'faceless doormat'. His parents didn't have much of a presence in his life, as both worked long hours into the night. By the time they did get home, they pronounced themselves tired, and did not indulge Philippe in the antics you would with a child. This neglect instilled a sense of desperation in the young child who sought a place to 'belong'. He slowly turned this sense of desperation to his peers in school. He stopped at nothing to be accepted by them, and become a social chameleon, changing his devoid shell of self to fit those around him.

This went on through his school life- from middle school to his entrance to highschool. While he wasn't despised and was, in the loosest sense of the word, in the popular clique. Not many wanted to be involved with him however, from inside and outside of these cliques. The people inside the cliques did not at all hang out with him outside of parties where everyone was there, they subconsciously felt that Philippe didn't have a real, tangible personality to him and opted to avoid him. People outside the cliques also disliked those within said clique, as they weren't the most well-liked due to their antics- usually outright bullying a chosen 'target'. He subconsciously realized the toxicity of this kind of relationship, but the fear paralyzed him from doing anything.

It was after the first year of highschool was when he met Sarah, who openly laughed at his own clique, and disregarded their haughty reminder of the hierarchy when they displayed so. Philippe was utterly flabbergasted by this, and secretly began to admire her. Someone who seemed so 'real' and 'genuine' compared to everyone else in highschool. Despite the clique's utter disapproval, and blacklisting of Sarah, he began to talk to her more often, being fascinated by her outgoing, and free-willed personality. Slowly he began to change, he distanced himself from his old clique, and started to hang out with Sarah, and began forming his own personality. For better or for worse, Sarah rubbed off on him.

A few years later, his parents work dragged him away from the quaint life of Higgins, to move into the bustling city of Los Angeles. His leave was abrupt, however, and he was in a heated argument with Sarah. He recently had heard that she had began to dabble in drug usage, he didn't care about the supposed rumors of her dating a teacher, nor her overdrinking during parties, but taking drugs was where Philippe drew the line. The argument ended in both sides getting heated, both saying words they would end up regretting.

Philippe never got to say he was sorry.

Penny Harlowe

Philippe has a close friendship with Penny, one of the few people (barring Sarah) that Penny felt comfortable around. Both would usually end up debating on more than a few things in a friendly manner, and only ever got serious/heated up in regards to the late Sarah's actions. Philippe corresponded with Penny, with Penny being the one to inform him that she had abruptly left for New York. She periodically kept him up to date on the status of Sarah when they found the chance to message each other.

Lucas Atkins

Philippe didn't have much of a 'positive' impressions of Lucas due to every interaction with him ending, at best, poorly, and at worst, at odds. Philippe could tell that Lucas was gunning to air petty grievances to Sarah and he tried to target her friends to lash out. Other than that there's not much to say, Lucas didn't specifically target Philippe, he really didn't single anyone out other than Sarah. Philippe didn't keep in touch with Lucas due to these aforementioned reasons.

James and Philippe were acquainted before being in Sarah's circle. They both ran around the same cliques, but never really bothered each other. They became great friends when they both begun hanging out with Sarah. Philippe slowly noticed that he was a 'jerk with a heart of gold', even if they didn't agree all the time. Presently they occasionally send messages to each other, but found it hard to have time to truly 'hang out'. It was James that had informed Philippe about the late Sarah.

Like most of his other friends, he never really got to know Tommy (outside of rumours) before he met Sarah. Since then he has struck up an odd sort of friendship with the man, even if more silent than Philippe was used too. Eventually this friendship became one of the closest ones he's had. Philippe had frequently visited a few of his prize matches due to them falling under holidays most of the time, and were enjoyable to watch (especially since Tommy insisted on giving him a VIP pass each time). Philippe liked the 'thrill' of a fight, but it pales in comparison to Tommy.

Alexis Wright

Before being in Sarah's circle, Philippe was aware of Alexis' reputation around the school- many really didn't have nice things to say about her. Philippe readily admits that these rumors actually formed a sort of assumption in his mind about Alexis. He still feels a pang of guilt over this, as later in the years when they both began hanging out with Sarah they formed an odd relationship where both slowly became 'tenured' friends. His initial impressions of her slowly washed away, as he began picking up bits and pieces about her past, going as far as to empathize with her current situation.

It went as far as them becoming really close friends, where Alexis slowly began to confide in Philippe about her troubled past. He tries at each opportunity to give her his support/help- either with his words, or his actions. He is the only one who Alexis had informed of her suicide attempt. Philippe had felt horrible not being able to be of help after her attempt, and blames himself for not talking her out of attempting it in the first place.

Both have kept in touch after high-school, with Alexis being the one he spoke to the most in Sarah's inner circle of friends, outside of highschool. His work takes him to business trips near London, and he has visited her a few times to check up on her.

Despite the girls boundless energy, they formed a sort of odd friendship. Philippe helped even out her as much as he could, sort of 'grounding' her. They almost always speak in a banter-like, lighthearted tone, so much so that others who do not know their relationship assume that they disliked each other. This couldn't be further from the truth. He always respected her courageous speech, unflinchingly uncaring for those it lands on. He knows that those words come from the heart however.

Akio had thought that everyone became more tense after he entered, but doubly so when the odd, pale man entered the bar. Everyone seemed to hold their breaths too. His eye caught the woman who pushed the younger man further into the bar, as if to protect him. Akio slowly began connecting the dots, and it was all but confirmed when another woman brazenly announced herself looking for someone. The words 'hunter' coming from the strange man just cinched it. A frown began to form on his face, Places like this existed too then? he thought, unconsciously letting out a sigh, Rumors do come from somewhere. Just my luck.

"Hey, Nosferatu, probably not best to blatantly announce yourself and instigate something, right?" he called out, answering the man's taunt, flapping his own jacket to the side to reveal his revolver, "Police, you should leave."

Well honestly, Akio was already thinking up of a plan to leave incase it got hairy, it would be next to impossible to fight this whole bar coming back from a hunt, he was fatigued, and injured, plus he had little to no idea of the prowess of this girl who had just selfishly barged in.

It had been a long day, blood slowly puddled into his faded utility jacket from a near-miss, luckily it wasn't deep and could be fix easily. His plan didn't go off without a hitch, but luckily he had a few contingencies, and soon the Wendigo's disgusting flesh sizzled out of existence. Luckily a family friend had tipped him off this 'unique' Wendigo, whom seemed to have a distinct look to him compared to the normal fleshbags. It didn't matter much to Akio, it burned just as well as the others did. Still, a worrisome thought loomed over his shoulders, the Wendigo's seemed to be faster in this neck of the woods, vicious too, and even more bold than normal.

Brooding over these thoughts, he remembered something, Damn, I ran out of alcohol a few days ago. A personal tenet was not to drink at all, booze slurred the mind, and a slow mind lead to a creeping demise. Instead, he used it as a quick, and cheap disinfectant. Wasn't always effective but it got the job done, and it was always found everywhere he went. Seeing as he was still new to town, he did not know his way around, and seeing a passing bar, decided to get in and procure the strongest alcohol he could. Luckily at this point the bleeding had ceased slightly, but his jacket was still soaked in blood and his arm was still rather numb. Akio really lacked something in personal courtesy to not really care about it though.

He could feel a few eyes gape at him as he entered the bar, he walked through their gazes and towards the counter,

"Hey." he called out, ignoring the man who had a notebook out, "Two bottles of your strongest alcohol." he felt a bit peckish too, but figured it best to pick up something at a convenience store, not wanting risk an infection decommissioning him again.

Akio

Name: Akio Sullivan
Age: 28
Ethnicity/Race: Japanese.
Appearance: Akio always dons a sullen face, as if the weight of the world is on his shoulders. Standing at an above average (in Japanese terms atleast) 5'11", and prefers to wear well-fitted garments that does not hinder movement.

Appearance

Personality:
Akio is a straight forward, no-nonsense guy. He prefers to stay silent, and only speaks when he thinks it necessary. It is also noted that he does not open up easily towards other people, partly because of years of neglect of his social skills, and also because of paranoia stemming against his choice of hunt. When he is hunting, his personality becomes more terse than ever. As an adage to this, he plans his hunt to an nth degree despite knowing that plans tend to go off the rails he prefers to be caught prepared than unprepared.

Since Wendigo's can mimic voices, Akio has grown untrusting and callous towards people he is not acquainted with.

History: The Sullivan's has been an Asian family that has had ties with Wendigo hunting that dates back to the early 1800's, after a fateful event that led to the death of the first patriarch's wife. It was said that he was never the same after this, a once jovial and sociable man became withdrawn and sullen, angered at the world, the monsters, but mostly himself. It is said that since then he has dedicated his life to hunting Wendigos, becoming one of the few that perfected his craft. Rumors circulate that in his lifetime that he has killed hundreds of Wendigos.

Since then the Sullivan's have taken up his tradition, training his three sons. It had been a hereditary succession, the teachings were passed down from generation to generation.

Akio was taught during his childhood. He wasn't at all the fastest, nor the strongest of his siblings, but he was the most persistant. On one odd hunt, which should have been an easy one, he was out with his father and two older brothers. His brothers had stated that the Wendigo they had critically injured a Wendigo, that had retreated into a mine. In his father's blindness, chose to underestimate the beast and bring all his children so that they can experience their first ever 'hunt', the Sullivan's had become more cocky, prideful throughout the decades as they had easier picks, doing away with the safety their forefathers had been very adamant about. It was a trap, the monsters have become smarter, learned how to hunt in packs, and had lured the Sullivan's out. The Sullivan's planned to corner the Wendigo in the abandoned mine.

In the darkness, Akio trudged fearfully, being a ripe 14 years old, it was obvious that his fear grasped him as he sauntered through the old, creaky mines. Obvious as it was, this wasn't a good idea, but no one would go against the words of his father. With his six chambered bullets shook unsteadily in his hand. The dim flashlight barely able to light the surroundings more than a few feet infront of him.

In their haste, his brothers and fathers had rushed inside. Akio could barely keep up, but in his mind he knew something went wrong as the musky smell of iron waft into his nose. He sweeped his unsteady hand, holding the flashlight, throughout the mine, it stopped infront of one his brothers mutilated corpse. Akio tried to scream but the sound caught in his throat.

In the distance there was gunfire resounding throughout the enclosed mine. One, Two- then it stopped. Then another, One, Two- then it stopped. Akio mind fumbled to guessed what had happened, but he was frozen in place, shaking in fear as a dark figure approached him.

"F-Father?" he called out, hoping against all odds that it was him. However the figure was too disfigured to be it. Akio couldn't move, his feet were stuck on the grimy floors. The figure got closer, its breath smelled of blood and meat, an unfamiliar smell of death. Just before it could grasp the frightened kid, a gun clicked and fired. His father, with cracked arms and broken limbs stood, barely alive and had just one bullet left, one that pierced through the skull of the last Wendigo.

Akio collapsed then and there, but somehow, woke up in the safe enclosure of his home. As his mother explained, there was a random passerby, a hunter following a lead about Wendigo's. He was saved by this stranger. However his other family members were not so lucky, his mother's voice straining as she explained so.

With that, Akio began his self training, training to be cautious, unlike his family members, training to specialize against accentuated from there.

Weapons:
- A special revolver that fits oddly shaped bullets from the Sullivan's.
- The bullets in question engulf the dead tissue of Wendigo's in flames when struck.
- They original formula found by the Sullivan's was once a closely held secret, but has recently been made publicly known by Akio, who found it stupid to keep important information like this out of the eyes of hunters who could use it.

Supernatural Target (i.e. Werewolf, Ghost, Banshee, etc.): Wendigo
Strengths: Efficient at his job, excellent tactical plans with contingencies, in good physical shape to give him any edge versus Wendigos. Has extensive knowledge of Anasazi symbols. Has notable training in self first-aid due to his 'lone-wolf' style.
Weaknesses: Does not want to partner up at all with other hunters due to a bad experience with one during his past, one that led to an innocent death. Unsociable at times.
