Bio
Hey all, JB here.
I'm a DM for a large number of games here on RPG, as well as a player in several others. Many of the games I run are overly complex, or they involve Dungeons and Dragons (which is also overly complex!).
I work 40+ hours a week, and am the proud father of two tiny terrors named Chibi and Chibette and married to my beautiful Wifey. As such, I am quite busy more often than not. I typically write 2-5 paragraphs per reply and try to maintain an excellent level of grammar. If you noticed me glancing at your profile, I probably was looking to see if you would be a good match for my RPing style. Even if I didn't send a PM to you, feel free to send one back!
I enjoy 1x1 RPs and small groups. I'm fond of medieval, steampunk, and futuristic settings, and I'll jump into romance, adventure, and slice of life RPs fairly quickly, although supernatural (vampires, werewolves, etc) RPs get old for me pretty quickly. If you're looking for an RP partner and I've glanced at your profile, then I'm most likely willing to give it a shot, but decided against PMing you because I'm actually kinda shy. But I'm always looking for a new friend!
Please feel free to say hi at any time!

Anything else I'm missing before we start this shindig, @JBRam2002?
Starting gear perhaps, although it may have been mentioned elsewhere. We start with 250 gp and unlimited mundane items you can carry. Potions do not count as mundane. If you so choose, you may also have a mount, but the mount must be okay'd by Gordi. I would also point out that mounts require animal handling checks for a lot of things and should not be purchased solely as a force multiplier. Mounts typically refuse to enter obviously dangerous areas, and untrained mounts usually will not attack a dangerous unless you command as an action and succeed an animal handling check. They are best used for travel.
@Gordian Nought Looks like we have Tank, Range, and Mage. We're probably missing heals and sneaks at the moment, depending on what @Daemanis and @Cu Chulainn choose. I know I've got one other person who might be interested too.
I've played a Gunslinger, and she's quite fun! Sadly, Gunslinger by itself is a tad limited on options, but I always crossclass anyways. That character went Tempest Cleric 4 / Gunslinger Artificer 8. What's more fun than maximizing thunder damage when you get to add like 8d8 thunder damage to every shot?
@JBRam2002, guess y'all will just have to remember who's who of Cas' personas. But those all look great.
Thanks!
If @Daemanis wants to track all of your personas, I can easily add icons for them once I have some free time at home (it doesn't take much time for me), as long as I have pics for them all. My thought was that it's easier for players to track who's who if the icons are consistent.
I will add that as co-DM, my job is mostly a supportive role. I will be helping clarify rules and suggest rulings to Gordi, but I will likely not be involved in the story. Also, all final rule decisions are Gordi's unless he delegates something to me.
That said, I'd be happy to help anyone out with their characters. I don't know an awful lot about existing D&D lore, and I have no clue what this campaign holds for us, but I'm sure it will be an intriguing ride with Gordi at the helm.
I can fill pretty much any role, but I've got an interesting barbarian/monk build I've been dying to test out. Kensei monk + Zealot barbarian, both from UA. The above link is a build from a different set of rules and hasn't been updated with the revised UA, but it's close to my plans.
