I need to remember to get a new SSD for wilds and other stuff. NGL I'm hating the era of new games hitting +100 GB. Regardless, I'm glad that MH has blown up and no longer niche

It's gonna be gas. Can't wait to see what sort nonsense you can pull of in focus mode with the funlance and hunting horn. Also, looking forward to new monsters to skin and wear as hats.

Murderhoboing knows no age, so long as you have the spirit and are able to contribute in some way anyone can be an adventurer.

I already got a game/rule set in mind. I don't care who does the rolling only difference it makes is that I share a dice roller site and I'm not doing everything at once.

Way I'm thinking of handling it, is that I'll take care of the rolling parts and you take care of more pertinent things like who you're gonna attack, your health, etc.

Also do keep in mind like most of this gonna be freeform save for the dungeon crawling bits. I mean sure dungeon crawling is a part of this game but I'm gonna space them out a bit.
I love simple CS because it allows for more depth in development


I kept it simple for multiple reasons.

Prime being it's a waste of time to have sheets with superfluous details that could be rolled up into bigger categories. Talking about stuff that includes inane details like eye color, height, favorite scent, etc.

Second is similar to yours.

Third is I'm sick and I can't be assed to slather everything in pretty looking bbcode right now, but then again I can't stand overly ornate stuff.

Fourth reason is keeping it modular in regards to the mechanics. If we keep it then you'll be adding a couple of stuff to it and if not then we already have a functional CS

Since you didn't say anything before I assume it was alright. I prefer if people give open communication rather than staying silent.

That being said I'm willing to drop it if I get enough people voice their opinion.

Setting Overview

The world is obviously a fantasy world littered with monsters,dungeons, and wild magic. Ordinary people simply can't cope with such hazards and it is only with the help of brave women & men simply known as Crawlers that things are kept from being too hectic. These people have something in them, a certain tangible essence that is known in its abbreviated form as "PC". Non-PC essence people are simply known as NPCS, who are most numerous compared to the PCs.

However whether either driven by a noble drive to help others or perhaps a thirst for fame, excitement, and or riches potential Crawlers rise from the everyday masses. Their spirits maybe ready for adventuring but they are inexperienced which can lead to disastrous results. This is where is where the crawler academies come in.

These academies are open to all who manage to pass the entrance exam teach all prospective Crawlers the fundamentals of adventuring such as the archetype each person fits into and how effectively cultivate those abilities with other preexisting skills and basically how to murderhobo. These academies also function as a sort adventurers guild as well with novices being sent on quests that matches their skill level until they proper adventures who then either continue working for this branch or head elsewhere.
What you're playing as

You'll be in the roles of novice adventures/ students in the academy. There will be a mixture of the usual Slice of life type classrooms stuff mixed with dungeon crawling and other events.

Your goal is to survive and graduate to become a full-fledged Crawler and follow your ambitions. Exactly what that is is up to you.

This RP will be semi-sandbox in natures in that there is no default goal to pursue at the start. Plot may be introduced into the game later via: Player character shenanigans, Events, and or GM's discretion.

So since there were no protests on the IC in regards to the addition of actual tabletop mechanics I'm gonna assume you're all fine with it.

However if there is enough objections then I'll change it, however right now as of writing the current assumptions is you're all fine since there were no comments.

Right so the gimmick is to put tabletop roleplay elements since you might as well go full circle and actually implement the pseudo-game mechanics these works put out that are derived from RPGs .
