"Lit." Her partner said warningly to the Shuppets, but Amelia simply laughed before petting her partner before looking around at the four Shuppets that surrounded her. Three of them seemed rather brave and approached her with no problem but the fourth seemed hesitant. She smiled at the first three before moving around them to the fourth, reaching out with one hand towards it.

"It's okay. I'm not here to hurt you. I want to take one of you on a journey with me. Would you like to come along, any of you?" She said to them kindly, wondering if some of them would back off at the thought of leaving their home. If they did, she wouldn't hold it against them. If they were all willing though, if would be hard to decide which one to take with her.

Amelia enjoyed her walk around town. Pureplain was so different from her home that she couldn't help but enjoy herself. It helped that she was finally free of her parents oppression and that her partner was rather adventurous and more willing to explore places she hesitated to, forcing her to follow before he could cause trouble.

Even after night fell, she was still wide awake and walking through town. Litwick lit up the darker sections of town with his flame, making it easy to navigate. When she finally sensed some Ghost-type Pokemon, she dashed off in their direction, finding a house covered in Shuppets. When she noticed a few looking at her, she waved at them in a friendly manor.
"Hello there. Can I talk to some of you?" She asked in a kind, gentle tone, similar to how she had talked to the Pokemon at home.

Amelia smiled as Sam skipped away, distracting Jamie a bit. She moved away, looking at the various foods that had been spread out for the mages. She found that much of it looked rather appetizing.

As she looked around, she spotted Master Jack talking to Master Sanders. She wanted to talk to Master Jack some more but was hesitant. Fight back her fears, she approached the guild masters.
"Master Jack, Master Sanders, good evening. And nice evening to you too Miss..." Amelia said, first to the guild masters then to Hyun, whose name she was struggling to recall. Luckily for her, Phlegethon knew Hyun very well and appeared as a red ball of energy behind her, whispering the woman's name. "... Miss Hyun. Sorry for not remembering your name from the games."

Jackie and Aria

Probably betraying everyone's expectations, both Jackie and Aria did go to the ball. Jackie, having been to a few in her time as an assassin, knew the proper attire and had managed to procure matching dresses for herself and Aria, the only difference being color, with Jackie wearing black with white trim and Aria wearing white with black trim. The dresses were sleeveless and off the shoulder, but simple in terms of design. It had taken some convincing, but Aria had left her headphones at home, making it even harder to tell the girls apart if you didn't know them well.

Enjoying their time together, although Aria was displaying slot of nervousness without her headphones, Jackie took the lead in walking around and sampling food. She was aware of her sisters sensitive pallette and made sure she only ate food with more... subtle flavors. As she looked around, she spotted Master Sanders, Hyun, and Amelia approaching Master Jack. She kept her distance but also watched the situation, incase Jack needed support.

Night time

After getting a largely negative response on the chances of finding ghost-type Pokemon from the Professor, Amelia gave her thanks before setting off back into Plainfield. She would pass the time by sightseeing whatever sights there were, looking at the local delicacies, especially the sweets, and talking with a few friendly strangers in an attempt to improve her social skills.

When it was around midnight, she set out to start Ghost hunting in earnest. Ghost-types would be most active around this time. Not only that, but she would know when was was near. She couldn't recall when her gift had surfaced but she was intent on practising with it and trying to make it stronger. As of now, she could only sense when Ghost-types were nearby but little else. She was sure that, with practice, she would be able to tell more. But for now, she was just looking for another possible friend, Litwick perched nicely on her head.

Joshua smiled as Cecilia flew away and Amaya commented on the ball and who would be there. He had no doubt at least some of the council would be here and since they were in the castle, it made sense for royalty to be at the party. The question was how peaceful the ball would be. Hopefully there wouldn't be any fighting.
"So, shall we enjoy some food, or shall we find some people to talk to?" He asked her, a small smile on his face.

"Alright. Let's go." Amelia said, still sounding nervous. She would follow her family to the castle, sticking close to either Jamie or Jarvis, whichever one wasn't too busy occupying Sam. She also tried to ignore all the stares she was getting, as she hated them above all else and was more then happy to finally make it to the castle and outside of the view of the general public.

Once they arrived at the ballroom, she let out a gasp of amazement. The room was lovely and all the food looked so good. She wanted to find the sweets and begin digging in, but restrained herself so as not to embarrass her family.

"Well, I'm sure they'll show up in due time. Until then, we might as well enjoy ourselves, wouldn't you say?" Lucus asked as Elyse began wondering around. She didn't run, since she knew better, but it was really hard to hold herself back from doing so, as she wanted to explore the entire castle and see everything inside of it.

When Jake finally arrived, Pyrrha gave him a smile. His compliment brought a tinge of red to her face as she looked at the ground briefly.
"Thank you. You look nice as well." She said, accepting his hand and standing up. The rest of her guild was kindly letting them be for now, which she was thankful for since she didn't want to hear about this just yet. With nothing to keep them from leaving, she asked the obvious question. "Shall we get going?"
