@Dragonbud Anything specific you would like to know? If you have a question about the setting, feel free to ask, I'm sure I can answer.

@Pathfinder We're starting with above-average characters. Whatever they're main focus is (I.E. Lapi, Killing stuff, inventing shit) it's like they've been trained by a good teacher for about 5-6 years. They would be able to take down a commoner with ease, a soldier with some effort, and it would take a few of them working together to take down someone serious and skilled, like a gang leader or the head of a cult. Even with all of them though, it's up in the air whether they could defeat even the weakest member of the Firebird Council. But of course, they'll get much stronger as the journey continues with new Lapi and training and such.
@Pink Snorlax I'd be open to letting more than 6 people on certainly, just thought i wouldnt garner enough interest to need more than that. I think the limit should be about 9. Thatd mean ten PC's, myself included.

And yeah, the reason I posted this Int. Check was because other people could come on. Theres no gaurantee that everyone from the other thread will hop over. If you have any other questions relating to the setting or plot, feel free to ask.
I don't know what happened to the last thing, but I'd be interested in joining this thing up.

Also sorry I havn't been here... like at all. I'm getting ready for college and junk, so its been fun on my end.

Nobody being particularly interested is what happened to the last iteration unfortunately. But I've trimmed the fat, now we only need 6 people before we can start, instead of the like, 20 I originally had. And, hey, no problem, school's about to start up on my end as well so I totally understand that.

EDIT: Shit, forgot to mention, leave a decent amount of time (6 months to a year) in your bio right at the end so, once everyone's in, we can discuss character relations.
@BCTheEntity Hey, we have a Skype, if you want to join, message me your account name and I'll add you.

@Zarkun @liferusher I'm not sure if you two know about this since you aren't in the chat, so I'll go ahead and offer the same to you.
@Prince of Seraphs She didnt tackle it, she Crashed it, which is a short range blast of force that emits out of the sword. Of course, when she goes in for the execution, i wouldnt mind changing it so she tried to chop its head off. If she did that shed be open for a grab.

You live in the Kingdom of Lucumbro. Maybe you haven't for a majority of you life, but for now, you reside here. It's the year 2235, and things look like hell here. The countryside is ablaze, the castle is full of backstabbers, and towns are being raided. It's been like this for almost a century now, this war that's consumed the Kingdom. 94 years ago Sardiel, the Eternal King, revealed that he had been puppeteering the crown for over 1000 years. Up to that things had been shaky, but workable. Other than the poverty and issues with the political system, the Kingdom was at peace. Once the truth was out, the rising tensions exploded.

A half-demon girl by the name of Gennisi would lose her home soon after this, and become the face of the rebellion. Once the original leader died, she became Commander of the Firebird Empire at only 23 years old. Her fervent attitude and impassioned speeches on revolution gathered many to her side, and forced the small rebellion into an all-out civil war. The King, out of touch but still wise, erected military outposts and demanded a higher rate of production of weaponry and Lapi, unparalleled since nearly 300 years ago. But the Firebirds would not let up, and Sardiel was forced to play the long game, again sacrificing his citizens short-term well being for the longevity of the kingdom, and himself.

Ever since, neither of the two sides have let up. Sardiel is still ruling king, as youthful as the day he had revealed himself, while Gennisi seemed to have not aged either, and indeed has survived many grievous wounds. The war shows no signs of stopping, but you've had enough. Whoever you are, you have joined with six others in an effort to end the war. You may be just a motley crew now, but you've all got skills beyond a commoner, and an ally who seems to know just where to point you all. With luck, you might just be able to pull through.

Magic is used through rocks that can provide passive buffs, enchant weaponry, or be activated to launch spells. Basically Materia. A more detailed explanation is below.

Here's the CS.

I'm looking for 6 others, but there are some people from a previous thread who showed interest and created characters previously, and they will take precedent over others, should they return. Also, feel free to ask questions.
@BCTheEntity Well in that case should I even make an Int. Check? Or just post the thread once I finish writing all the remade stuff up?
Okay, so the new gameplan is this; A group of X amount of people (probably 7 including myself) have joined forces to attempt to finish the war. Though they all come from different walks of life, they have one goal, defeat the Glanz Empire (May be changing that name) empire. Over the course of the RP they'll be gathering soldiers, followers, powerful artifacts and allies before taking the fight to the Empire. Sound good?

@BCTheEntity Mind if I use your Sardiel as the current ruling King? I could write up another if you want, but I really like him and I think it would be cool if he lived on as king, even if it's just as an NPC.
A gruff huff escaped Milo's mouth as Nick dodged Milo's question and then insulted him. He briefly wondered if the Kaiser was truly worth keeping around if he had no idea what a 「Stand」 was and kept threatening his life. But Nick had yet to make good on his threats, and that power he possessed was just the thing to get rid of his father. Though the Kaiser would not be a good teacher, as a weapon, it was too good an opportunity to pass up.

Nick displayed his power again as he launched forward at a quick speed, not faster than Milo obviously but, Milo digressed. The lumped together garbage was swiftly launched at the assailant like a huge fireball. The young man turned around at this, for just a quick second, to assess the situation. After that, that metallic creature, his stand, launched an attack. Each of the strikes colored the refuse blue. The splattered trash extinguished itself once the colors were applied. Was this his ability? To freeze things? Seemed possible, certainly. Lastly, the man's stand launched one of the frozen clumps of garbage at the flower-y man, while also charging at him, bat at the ready.

Simultaneously, both the flower-y man and Nick went on the offensive. Nick charged at the punk from behind, unsheathing a bat of his own, charging it with the power of the sun with his Stand. Pink on the other hand, revealed he too, had a stand, an odd looking thing with lanky arms and a mask-like face. Though the two would surely be able to combat the punk with ease, Milo would stand by, at the ready, just in case he had to launch a Shine Beam or two.
