But I prefer Liz." Her father insisted on using her full name. But she had always felt that her name was bigger then she was so tried to encourage people to call her by the nickname her mother had given her.

Katherin could hear the other teens in the gym. She wasn't looking forward to the gym it woukd be a big empty echoey room. But she knew that they woukd have to be there. She stopped at the doorway. And tilted her head to listen. It didn't really help. There were too many sounds at once. "If there are bleachers or someplace to sit out of the way I would suggest we go there."

Liz wasn't sure what to do. She wanted to met the others but she was too she to introduce herself. She watched as the others started moving around the room and talking. She considered them all carefully. She wanted to get to know them all. They all seemed so...powerful. Her ability wasn't that interesting. It would be helpful if one of the others was hurt. But it wasn't good for anything else. She wouldnt blame the others for ignoring her.
