Do you prefer to be asked questions about YC and the plot, since it affects both characters, or prefer that nothing is ironed out and both parties do sheets?

@Raptrawe might have to do a time skip to accomplish that.

Everyone ok with skipping five or so days.
@BlueflameBoth are acceptable reasons for them joining. I would consider them if you submitted CSs for them.
@Blueflame Why would either of them join??
Roxy decided that she would go to the lab and get that out of the way. She hated going to the lab. It always made her feel less than human. Which she supposed was part of the point. Sometimes they did simple tests like doctors do. Probably just to make sure all the mutants were healthy and prove to protest groups that they weren't any worse off than any other group. Other test the lab ran were more invasive, sometimes crueler, because they wanted to understand what caused the x gene and why it affected everyone so differently.

She frowned when she noticed that the locks on her new shop were broken. Roxy didn't like leaving her bike where people could take it. She would have to jurey rig something. It only took her a few minutes to make sure that no one would be getting into her space while she was away. Once that was taken care of she headed to the lab.
@Blueflamealright what are they?
@Bluetommydo you want me to npc the supplies
@Gentlemanvaultboyare your character's pets limited in range?
Roxy debated stopping to get a moving truck. She was supposed to move the empath into the city. They were supposed to lived together until the formed a bound strong enough for the empath to be protected from the emotions of others. She was hesitant about that part. From what she had read the stronger the relationship between empath and anchor stronger the shield which allowed the empath to live among the population. But Roxy hadnt had many relationships so she didnt see that one happening quickly. Which meant that she was going to have make room for a stranger in her life and that wasn't going easy.

Eventually she decided to wait. She needed to know how much the empath had before getting a truck. Besides not getting the truck meant that she could ride her bike longer. She had no desire to be in an enclosed space any sooner than she had to. She followed her gps until she reached the house where the empath lived. She knew nothing about the woman inside except her name.

Roxy looked around as put the kickstand down. She couldn't imagine living here. She was a city girl. She had lived her whole life on the rough side of town. Out here she would be bored out of her mind. Luckily out here the empath was useless here so they would have to go back to the city eventually. She made her way up to the door. She took a deep breath before knocking. This moment would change her life forever.
@GreenGowhere was Quinn last?
"Why the hell not?" Roxy demanded. She glared at the papers on the floor. Proof that she was slowly losing control of her life once again. She pushed the thoughts away. There was no point in thinking about it. Nothing would change it. She would have to find a way to accept that. All that mattered now was that she keep Jess safe and as far from her mess. "It's my crap that's adding to stress to you adjusting to being back among people." Not to mention it was her fault that the shield wasn't working the way it was supposed to.

With that Roxy stormed back to the otherside of the building. She starting scrubbing the floors. Not that they needed cleaning but she needed something to vent her frustrations on and this was the best way to do it. Zed had helped her learn to focus her anger on inanimate objects rather than the people causing the emotion. It was probably the only reason she was her rather than in jail.

The thought made her wonder what they would have done if Jess had been matched with someone who was in jail. She wondered if it ever happened. Not that it mattered. It didn't affect them. It wouldn't. She wouldn't allow Jess to suffer just because of who she was. She had no more control over who her father was than Jess had over being an empath.
